hi, i’m yurim & welcome to my blog ! i’m 23 years old and use both she / they pronouns. please keep in mind this is a VERY CR CRITICAL blog , not over dumb issues like ships-- but i am highly critical of the cast ( sam doing black face, liam calling asians exotic, marisha implementing negative stereotypes and only using her asian monk for aesthetics, brian foster painting himself as a victim when people called out his privilege for being able to ‘step back’ from politics, etc ) and will be vocal about it from time to time.
my beuregard is canon divergent and there will be various posts to express where my portrayal stray from canon. mostly, my portrayal of beau is more consistent with how she obtains information via training with the cobalt soul, aka puts in practice the fact that beau should be a good investigator / negotiator as she’s played to be a character who strives for knowledge and is good at obtaining it. also, in my interpretation beau’s parents are currently SEPARATED as i don’t condone the docile / neglectful asian mother portrayed by a white woman. more details about these divergents will occur in separate posts.
i personally do not ship either canon b/eaujester or b/eauyasha as neither really shown a romantic interest in beau and i really find it suspicious that the most forced ships ( by both the male cast members and the fandom ) are of the two lesbian characters that don’t even really have a solid and emotionally invested relationship yet. regardless, beau is a LESBIAN and i will not tolerate any lesbophobia here.
the basic rules apply, DON’T BE AN ASSHOLE. i do not tolerate racism, islamophobia, homophobia, transphobia, abelism, rape / non - con themes, etc.
activity / following , this is a low - activity blog and mostly friend - only. i have a lot of issues with the cr fandom but as long as you’re critical and don’t believe the cast can do no wrong, we’ll probably get along a - okay !
