I have no idea how to go about the twitching aspects with something that’s not animated.. I mean.. How do you draw someone twitching without the image moving? Also, I figured that South Park is pretty cold in general, plus he’s sometimes a pretty timid and stressed person so I figured why not use a pose that I’m usually in when in public and being talked to by someone I don’t know.

One Layer Challenge Attempt + Monochromatic Palette

So..I did the one layer challenge, plus to push myself even further, I used a monochromatic colour palette. I'm actually really happy with how it turned out although I didn't record my progress since I never thought I'd finish it.

I’m kinda happy with how Kyle turned out as a first attempt of drawing him full body.. Well.. in reality I did multiple sketches but scrapped them because I could never work out the hat until I drew it separately in this drawing so...
Background Progress WIP

So.. Here's how the background is progressing! Time to add in Zorua and the warm or maybe cold lighting for experimentation, then start putting some motion to it...I've never animated before, so this...It'll be interesting to see how I go.. Also, I mean, I guess I could call this a complete piece but I feel that I should properly experiment with animation, excluding the side cry plays limbo project that I’m working on, because that one involves far less work with background and more just focusing on the character, whereas now I have to integrate a form of motion in both the character and the background while making sure they line up correctly.

I'm actually really happy with how I'm improving in my ability to draw backgrounds. I still have the water to go for this but I'm gonna go rest my eyes and take a break, plus work out how to draw Zorua, but yeah. I'm really really happy so far!

So, I finished the base colours and now it’s time to add the shading... I guess... but what to do animation wise, I have a few options...either I could involve a character or I could just do a running stream on it’s own.

Steve and I watched South Park yesterday, so this became a thing I drew out of pure boredom, because, I mean, why not? I didn't know how to go about drawing him so I'm like, let's take it easy and get used to the shape of the hat.
Sorry this isn't my preferred style of post but here you go, using the limited palette and various bits and pieces of the description, I made this. I hope you like it, it kind of reminds me of Dreamwork's man on the moon because of the general shapes that appear in this post.

What do I even title this? I mean...That's literally what it is and I still haven't added the icicles onto the jacket but I kinda liked it without as well..I dunno. I'm indecisive about this sort of stuff and may try icicles later if they didn't take so long to do.
