Day 6, Ice

Was super busy today but still wanted to participate! So here’s a quick Toki on Ice doodle ^^ ice skating poses are always so dynamic

I think I used yuzuru hanyu as a reference !

Day 5, Fireworks

Did this one last minute bc I’ve been procrastinating by playing rdr2 instead of drawing oops.. anyway I really wanted to draw them at a festival! I thought about drawing them celebrating Seijin No Hi (coming of age day) in pretty furisode, but it didn’t seem like fireworks were common at those celebrations. I think drawing them doing a new years visit at a shrine would also be wonderful.. New Year’s Eve was also an option but fireworks don’t seem to be common in Japanese NYE celebrations (unless the Google searches I did were lying…)

Anyway, even though it’s winter I decided to draw them enjoying a summer festival!

I wanted to do something more festive but.. I feel like these children embody hope

The hope/expectations placed on them by the cult, perhaps hope from Yakou and Ahu’az? And the fact that children might symbolize hope for a better future

They are so dear to me.. I hope we see more of them!
