—Damien swore his eyes almost rolled to the back of his skull at the name Kou had just called him. ❝Oh, yeah?❞ He reached out and poked the other’s arm with the tip of his index finger. ❝I guess that proves otherwise.❞ Grinning teasingly, he lifts his broad shoulders up in a mocking shrug and shoved his hands deep in the pockets of his faded jeans.
“That was a very childish attempt.” Kou crosses his arms over his chest as he shook his head. “Quite disappointing, actually.” He flashes as smile at the other, and for a moment he stays still. Or so it seems. “Oh, by the way, what’s that in your ear? Is that a lizard tail?”

“Nah, I can shove all of them up your nose all by myself.” He pauses for a moment before looking at the other with a disgusted look. “If you actually find that arousing, then no–”

Kyungsoo is still rubbing his shoulder when the other speaks. He’d be lying if he said he wasn’t caught off guard, as if he had knocked into them again or a wall. Hadn’t they just–? Sometimes it made his head hurt, trying to comprehend how city people’s minds worked.
“O-okay…” He says hesitantly, his one ear folding in half. The bunny gave a glance around, wondering if he should just walk away without another way. However, he manages a small smile, voice soft as he speaks. “W-well sorry again, I should get going. I hope you have a nice day.”
“Did you get hurt?” He asks as he notices the other’s hand on his shoulder. His tone is strangely sincere, as if he’s really worried. He rarely is (or so he thinks). He considers taking out one of his medicinal leaves out of his backpack, but decides not to. What normal person takes out leaves in this era? Kou is reminded he isn’t normal, or a person.
Hearing the other’s words, he leans back and tips his head. An almost disappointed look showing on his face. He’s about to turn around and go, forget anything ever happened, but there was that scent again and ears? Kou’s brows furrowed. “Are those real?”

“You said that ten minutes ago!” Kou whines as he leaned back against the chair. He earned the glances of a few people that had surrounded him and he stared back at them with an annoyed look on his face. Sighing, he shakes his head. “Just hurry up, please.”

—❝I have other things to do, child,❞ He stretched his arms above his head with a groan. ❝Leave me alone.❞ Damien rolled his neck and let out a soft sigh as he felt a satisfactory pop. He still had to warm up for his hunt tonight. How many would he kill? Maybe three? Four?
“You’re so lame, Damien,” Kou rolled his eyes and was about to take a step forwards, to let it slide and just go to class, but he remembered something. A childish grin makes its way across his face as he reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small, vibrant green leaf. He takes a glance at his friend for a short moment before rushing toward him and quickly placing the magical leaf on his forehead. “Now you have no choice,” he laughs as the smoke that had engulfed the other began to dissipate and revealed a copy of himself.

Kou shivers at the thought of chicken. Being a delivery boy for one of the top fried chicken restaurants in Seoul has taken some toll on him. He loves chicken, he’d eat it any day, but ever since he started the job, it’s like all the chicken he had consumed were haunting him. That’s probably why he’s staying away from it, for now anyway.

The bunny felt his shoulder collide with another strangers, nearly sending him to the ground. He winced a little, hand coming up to rest on what surely would bruise. “My apologies. I wasn’t watching where I was going.” It wasn’t a complete lie, though the truth was he just was not used to crowds and having to weave between people. “I’m sorry.”
Kou shuts his eyes and lets out a deep sigh when he feels something, someone hit his shoulder. Having had a bad day at work, he was more than ready to give the clumsy, filthy human an earful, but when he hears the other’s words, he couldn’t help but fall silent. He turns toward the stranger, leaning down slightly to get a closer look at him. He isn’t human, or he isn’t fully one. Kou could tell. He smelled differently, deliciously even. His mischief begins to kick in and he couldn’t fight the urge to tease the little thing.
Pulling down his black face mask, Kou showed a small, somewhat friendly smile to the person who had bumped into him. “Don’t worry about it so much. I’m partly at fault anyway.”
