“If I get to be called a vampire racist for messing with one of the three vampires I know, then you get to be called a human racist for messing with one of the dozens of humans you must know.”
It was stated in a matter-of-fact tone. As if it was a good excuse for why either of them acted like complete jackasses to each other. At least the feeling was mutual.
“Wow, you’re in a good mood for once? It’s a Christmas miracle!”
Well, so much for being nice for more than five minutes. Though she does raise an eyebrow at his question before shrugging her shoulders with seeming indifference.
“I mean, it’s not like I have anywhere I’m rushing to be, so I guess I don’t mind listening for a bit. Ah, but do be careful. People might get the wrong idea and think you’re trying to serenade me or something~”
He didn’t want to say that allowed and ruin everything. He was not in the mood for another fight, or his guitar breaking because of her or something. He rolled his eyes and had started playing acoustic versions of his songs. ‘ Fake and Going to Fade’ was one of his favorites, so that’s the one he played.
It sounded different for sure, just because his band wasn’t with him but it didn’t matter to him. As long as he got to play, he was fine. He didn’t wanna bring a crowd around either, so he kept his voice quiet as he could.

He missed having Mangu around. Out of all his band members, he was the one he got along with the most. He didn’t know why, he just did. The two just kinda understood and got along with each other. Nothing else to it.

One could just hear the excitement in his voice. The way he spoke about his band, how happy he sounded. It didn’t sound like he was faking, or anything was sarcasm. He, for once, was sounded honestly joyful.
