“Oh. This is...--”

Right... Ten was an idol, wasn’t he? She’d even seen him perform once or twice. It was easy to forget when it came up so rarely in conversation as of late, but seeing his face on a CD cover like this...yes, Miyako remembered clearly now.

“TRIGGER, huh...?”

It wasn’t just Ten on the cover, though. Two unfamiliar faces accompanied the one she had come to know so well... Had he ever mentioned performing alongside other people? She’d only ever seen him onstage by himself...

"Ah... I was hoping to place an order for the Winter Ball that's coming up. I'm not sure whether a dress or ball gown is more appropriate for the event, but I would like it in some shade of purple. N-nothing too crazy, but I AM trying to impress someone." *cough cough* "... And this part may be kind of dumb, but if you can also maybe throw in an eye patch that might look better with it. I-it doesn't have to be anything too fancy or eleborate, but as long as it's not black like this one."

“A dress for Zallibexa Liakos, hm? Here I thought I’d never see the day where you wouldn’t wear something other than jeans, a t-shirt and plaid.”

With his fill of teasing done, Iori nodded his head.

“Don’t worry, I have something for you.”

And a few days later, true to his word, he set up the outfit and all the matching pieces to go with it.

“It’s not quite typical, but then again, neither are you. I hope this suffices... Ah, don’t worry about paying for it. Think of it as a ‘thank you’ for working so hard.”

–Performing in front of a large crowd in a stadium was always exhilarating, but there was a certain something about the humble atmosphere of the quaint cafe that brought a sense of togetherness with his audience. From the regulars that came everyday in order to get their daily dose of espresso, to the newcomers who were brought in by Riku’s voice, he got to share an experience with them all and it made his energy and expression that much more genuine. 

Taking a deep bow once he finished his last song of the hour, Riku took a deep breath, trying not to push himself past his limit as he reveled in the excited applause. 

“Everyone, I hope you enjoyed my solo acoustic version of Perfection Gimmick..! The next concert time will be..–!”

After finishing up on the small built-in stage at the far end of the cafe, Riku hopped off of the stage in order to don his apron again. Though he had been hired for his entertainment value, Riku was also courteous enough to lend a hand whenever he wasn’t singing. Seeing that there were a few people at the door, the redhead approached the nearest potential customer, offering the friendliest smile he could muster in greeting. “Ah, welcome! Can I get you a menu, Miss? Today, our special is a strawberry parfait!”

He had finally gotten his guitar and he was insanely happy. He could practice the new song that he had written without too many issues. He still didn’t have his band and this wasn’t his EXACT guitar. He was a little worried it wasn’t going to sound right, if he were to be honest.  Bat had made his way out of the little hut he was in ( He made a mental note to try and get an apartment or something later. )

He made himself comfy on a bench and played, or well, tried to play the tunes of his new song. “Beyond Six Degrees’. He didn't start singing at first. He was just humming along to the beat he was able to make and when he had gotten the rhyme to it, had started singing along. He wasn’t too loud though - he didn’t want anyone to hear him just yet. Which.. was most defiantly a change. Usually he wanted to be heard - but not this time. 

He was just in his own little world at the moment, singing and playing the beat to his song. He was a little upset the rest of Demon’s Venom wasn’t here, for sure.

Muffet would be lying if she said she hadn’t been a little preoccupied wondering what everyone thought of the desserts. She and her employees worked very hard on all the sweets available here, and, well.. it’d be disappointing if people didn’t like them. 

She saw someone (a pirate, in fact. Adorable!) standing by a dessert table, looking over the treats on display. Rather than sit and wonder, she figured she might as well straight up ask. Why not, right? A doughnut of her own in hand, she strode over.

“Are the treats to your liking here, deary?”

She had entered the store out of curiosity after overhearing a few blocks south about a shop that stocked clothing geared specifically towards combat, but instead, the first thing to have caught her eye appears to be...Dressed to Kill’s cosplay section. It’s quite sizable--so much so that it’s impressive even to someone as unfamiliar with the culture as Miyako is. 

The extensive array of flashy costumes offered only serves to fuel her bewilderment, though, and eventually she finds herself asking herself (under her breath, but still somewhat audibly):

“... Cosplay... ‘costume play,’ perhaps...?”
