Kon’s favorite time of the year is Winter, because it’s a lot more socially acceptable to be inside a lot. / He doesn’t understand how the hell Donald Trump is a serious contender for president. Fear encompassed Konnor’s entire being so greatly the moment his lips melded with Taylor’s, not because she was scary, but he thought she was with Charlotte, and well Charlotte was scary. But her lips moved into his, urging him to move past his fear, to not seize up, but to embrace this, whatever this was. She was amazing kisser, and Konnor tried not to think about what she must think of his skills, the dead fish thing was hardly sexy, then he told himself not to think anymore, because he had a gorgeous girl, (what Dick would probably call ‘a baddie’) with her arms around his neck and she was kissing him. So he didn’t think, and just did, letting his body do the driving on this one, and no doubt surprised Taylor when he hooked his fingers into her belt loops and pulled her flush against him before he slid his arms around her waist and to her back side, taking control of the kiss. He didn’t know what prompted this, but he wouldn’t squander the opportunity, if he died tomorrow, he’d die with a hell of a story to tell in heaven.

Taylor wasn’t even sure whose party she was at- now that all the upperclassmen had finally moved in, anywhere that wasn’t Brittany Hall seemed to be a hotspot over the weekends. She was only two shots in, but kissing Konnor seemed like the best idea in the world once she spotted him in the room. When she felt his lips push back onto hers in a way more assertive than she would have pegged him for, Taylor giggled as she pulled back a little, leaning backwards and then forwards again in her flats. “Konnor Cruz, huh?” She grinned before re-looping her arms around his neck. “Who’d have known you were actually kinda good at this?”

Konnor for a moment thought Taylor was going to fall backwards so he kept his arms where they were around her waist just in case, she looked tipsy now that he was looking at her again, but he was one to talk. He grinned as she giggled, “Yeah, that’s me. Taylor uh...with a last name, huh?” His grin morphed into a smirk, albeit a dopey one. “It’s uh... it’s news to me too.” He said, only half joking. The cheap beer at the party wasn’t the only intoxicating thing there in that moment. Konnor’s eyes were fixated on Taylor’s lips again while he inwardly debated if he should go for another kiss, that would only be fair considering she initiated the first one right? So he did just that, leaning in again to capture her lips with his own. The actual school year was finally kicking off and college was in fact great, already it was blowing high school out of the water.

Had Konnor ever thought about what kissing Leila would be like he wouldn’t be able to give a straight answer, which was probably why he was so surprised now that he had. He kissed her with an urgency, like his lips were trying to find out more about hers via some strange mouth to mouth osmosis, and his hands weren’t far behind, running over smooth, pale skin. He saw why everybody wanted her; why Benji thought she was so amazing. When he separated from her, his chest rising and falling, he had the dopiest of grins on his face. “Your hugs are good. But your kissing blows it clean out of the water.”

Hoots and hollers were heard from all over the large room, when Konnor kissed Benji, his fingers grabbed a patch of shaggy dark locks and Konnor didn’t think it was nearly as weird as he thought it would be, he didn’t know why some guys were so weird about it. In fact he intensified things, only earning a bigger reaction. Plus, he was wearing a blonde wig and a bunch of fake green muscles while Benji was dressed in a get up with subtle galaxy print all over it, the kiss was the least weird part. But they were at a comic book convention, they were Wiccan And Hulkling, and he was trying to win a contest dammit, so it would just be stupid not to commit to the cosplay. When he pulled away, Konnor grinned at Benji, “Dude your lips are like way soft, up top.” He commanded and held his hand out to give his friend a high five.

“Yeah I’m cool.” Konnor lied. “I did all that stuff while I was at the police station.” He shrugged, “I didn’t meant to hold you up or anything.”

If someone told Konnor that he would ever know what it felt like to kiss Penelope he would have though they were either insane or a dick, (or maybe just Dick which in that case same thing), but the soft pressure lingered on his lips as his eyes fluttered open, once their mouths parted. “Wow...” He said, his voice was unbelieving even with uttering just one word, but a few seconds later his mind kicked back in, “So uh... I guess Julia isn’t here then?”

Leila felt horrible; she’d never been around anybody that this had happened to for real, and she didn’t know if he even wanted to keep talking about it. “Do you want a hug?” she asked instead. “I’m so sorry I wasn’t there to help,” she added, her heartrate speeding up in panic as she realized how suspicious that statement was.

Konnor didn’t answer her, but there she was anyway so he held his arms out and hugged her, barely squeezing. He pulled back, and looked at her with a puzzled expression on his face, “Huh? No, don’t, there was nothing you could do, don’t feel bad. I’m glad no one else was there with me.”
