Well that was upsetting. “D-Don’t say that—! Y-you’re not…You’re not a freak…” Yuuta didn’t see him as a freak at all. Though others could be cruel and would ridicule him for a deformity. Poor guy…He didn’t deserve that. “I…I’m sorry that h-happened…” He wasn’t sure of what else to say to be honest. He couldn’t relate. He was born with all his body parts and had yet to lose a single one.
"Good luck..!" The albino gave a small smile as he encouraged the older male. He would have offered to help, but he didn’t want to risk becoming a victim. Just the thought scared him to death. "It’s n-nice to meet you. I’m Yuuta. And…if y-you wouldn’t mind." It would make him feel safer if someone accompanied him. Being in here gave him the creeps.
This one is a typical victim. Good-hearted kid, soft stutter, wide eyes and a soul that could be so easily stomped by the world... somehow Kenta feels sorry for him, and part of him wants to help him become stronger just so the cruelty of reality won't break him the way it broke Kenta so many years ago. But he remembers his place. Remembers his true motives.
At first he was going to kill him. But instead, he says, "It's nice to meet you, Yuuta-kun."
Now he means it as he smiles and promises he'll protect the kid and keep him safe as long as he'll walk him home. And maybe Yuuta will break sooner than Kenta thinks; for God's sake, the kid's only sixteen. He'll know his address now, though. Despite the higher chances that Yuuta won't even remember Kenta's name or face or pinkyless self, maybe he can gift the kid with kindness.
If Kenta had been given kindness when he was still alive, he might not have had reason to go to Hell to begin with.
"Where do we go, then, young navigator?"
