Episode 110 Preview: Water Sports
What was supposed to be part one of a double episode was somehow immediately lost when we hit record on part two. Luckily for you the listener we were also recording the show on a GoPro. This is the audio from the camera. Our apologies for the sound quality.
Watch as Joe and Lach panic over finding out they can’t find the episode they just recorded.
Our hosts Joe Praino and Lachlan Patterson are a NY Giants fan and Minnesota Vikings fan, respectively. When the two teams played on Monday Night Football they made a bet...loser has to surf *ding* Venice Pier in a bikini. Joe lost.
One of our favorite guests and close friend of the show, Scott Goldberg, drops into the Shacktory to discuss foamies in the lineup, why he's rooting for John John and of course to weigh in on "Arm or Leg?"
Following an afternoon sesh at County Line, the Kooks turn their mics on in the van and discuss Joe's quiver of ladies, Lachlan's in-van pooping method and they show you how to handle someone cutting you off in traffic.
Photo was taken immediately post-sesh at County Line on 9/26/2016...here our recap of the sesh on our latest episode.
New Episode drops tomorrow!
Murphy's law: Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong.
In this conclusion (or is it?) to the #LTKS trilogy our heroes run out of gas just outside of Lemoor, then find the town empty when they do finally arrive. After a difficult scavenger hunt they finally score the address to Kelly Slater's surf ranch only to be met by some unfriendly characters upon arrival.
When we arrived at the address we’d be given for the surf ranch the gate was open and for a moment we were very hopeful.
Let The Kooks Slide...Looking for water, Lachlan seems happy about running out of gas, Joe not so much, arrival in Lemoor, map to the surf ranch, racing the sunset, the Hunger Strike.
The road trip to Kelly Slater's surf ranch in Lemoore continues. The Kooks have escaped LA and now find themselves surrounded by the deserts and pump jacks of Central California.
The Kooks hit the road heading north in search of Kelly Slater's wavepool in Lemoore, California.
