썩히다 = to collect dust

PS. this is not a 100% accurate translation. The expressions Suran used in this song are poetic and are much harder to explain in English with a translation, keep that in mind as you read this.

How did you start learning Korean?

I originally was interested in Japanese stuff more like anime, manga, and Jpop. But then as I was binge watching Jdramas I came across boys over flowers (花より男子) the Japanese ver. and I liked the story but I wasn’t a big fan of the production value of the Jdrama and was also a little curious how the remake (꽃보다 남자) was. So after watching it I started to search for more shows and that is how I got into the Korean “stuff”. 

From a technical perspective though, I started learning Korean by learning Hangul and later reading Korean blogs, watching dramas, reading webtoons, and searching for words and grammar rules that I don’t understand in all of the previous listed activities that I come across online ^^

난 is the same as 나는 right? Could I also drop the ㄴ & 는 and keep it as 나 when speaking informally?

Yes, 난 is the shortened form of  나는.

Kind of, people sometimes omit the markers when speaking. So I guess you can, but probably not in all situations.

안녕하세요, I don't really know how to use 는/은. I watched a Video and they said it means "as for___" ex. 저는 means "as for me". I don't really know if it's right and like I said I don't know how to use it. It would be very nice if you can help me. 감사합니다 :)

so “as for ....” =  -는/은 is correct. Even though it is translated as 저는 = I am, it’s literal translation would be “as for me”, but that is not the only thing.

-는/은 is a topic marker

This means that you are helping the listener to identify what/who you are talking about, thus in a lot of cases it will be an alternative for the subject marker.

but there is more to it. it can be used to mean: “unlike other things, ..) which is a mean of contrast.

Koreans will drop this particle in spoken Korean in a lot of cases and mainly only use it to emphasize the topic in contrast to the other parts of the sentence.

Hope this helps..... Don’t stress a lot on this one grammar point, as you will get used to it when you continue learning. It is harder to explain than to use, so don’t worry and make mistakes in order to learn.
