Deleted Scene

Brienne is standing guard over Bran and out of the blue he speaks: “He still loved you”.

Brienne is startled, saying “I beg your pardon, Your Grace?” yet her heart is pounding. There can only be one person Bran means.

Bran continues, stating: “You were his last love. The last person he said those words to.”

It hurts so much and she’s tried so hard to push thoughts of him away since this new life began. With tears pricking in her eyes and a heavy heart she spits out “How do you know?”

Bran turns his head and looks Brienne in the eye. “I just know,” he says simply.

With that, any resolve she had holding back her emotions crumbles away. The tears fall and Brienne finally grieves for the man she loved.
