Momo x Nil Headcanons, but momo is a hairdresser.

Momo doesn't work at a hair salon with other people, she runs her own in her apartment. She used to work at a salon, but she got popular enough in pinepoint to start doing people's hair right in her apartment.

She is amazing at what she does, and her hair massages feel AMAZING.

When Nil caught wind that momo started her own little her salon in her apartment, he broke a world record setting up an appointment.

Momo was surprised to see him for the first time, but not really. She teased him a little bit for trusting her after all these years, but no amount teasing was going to stop him from getting his hair washed by her.

Possessive is an understatement when nil gets comfortable with her. He is claiming her chair 3 sometimes 4 times a week. He hates the idea that there are other people in her chair, so he tries to take up as much of her time as possible. He treats her other male regulars like they personally insulted his entire bloodline, it's normal for her to have mostly women regulars and clients (take that as you will).

He tries to act all nonchalant, but it's clear that he absolutely loves it when momo washes his hair, sometimes he even falls asleep.

He always gives her a little tip after every appointment.

Momo isn't stupid, she knows what he's doing. She's just waiting for him to gather the guts to ask her out.

After they start dating, everytime she washes his hair she kisses him at the same time.

Part 2 of my future au

Nil and momo walked back quickly, as they did not want to be caught outside at 2:30. Nil couldn't drive (still), and he didn't have a car.

"Damn, you walk FAST, bro." Momo chimed, still carrying her groceries.

"Stay on my tail." Nil said.

Once they reached his apartment door, he fumbled for his keys until he grabbed the correct one. He opened the door and just walked inside, once he was a few steps in he turned around and looked at momo expectantly. For some reason she didn't just bust in, she actually waited to be invited in.

"Come on." Nil said quietly.

Momo walked in and immediately removed her shoes. "NICE place." Momo had never seen his place before, it was honestly a little depressing, but in a cozy way. It was a basic apartment with mostly black furniture and clothes plastered in a few choice spots. She had to give it to him, he kind of pulled it off.

They just kind of stood there awkwardly, with nil still avoding eue contact and with momo holding her snacks, until momo finally said somthing.

"Can I put my snacks down there?" Momo pointed at the side of the couch, hinting that she wanted to place her snacks on the floor.

"Give 'em to me" Nil demanded as he reached for her snacking, gently taking them and then heading to his kitchen and placing them down on the counter. Momo followed him to the kitchen, where they again stood awkwardly as nil pondered what to say.

Obviously he invited her over in order to protect her from the dangers that thrived in pine point at night. So she would need to sleep somewhere, he had a bed, but a lot of the time he slept on the couch. His train of thought was put on hold by momo.

"So, uhh, bedtime?"momo questioned.

"Take the, uh, cou- bed." Nil stuttered.

"Really!? Hah, that chivalrous!" Momo taunted.

"Well, would you prefer the floor!?" Nil snapped. Momo put her hands up and turned around while exclaiming an exaggerated "My bad", as she didn't want to sleep on the floor. She walked back out, and into his bathroom. As she reached for a tooth brush, she remembered that she is in fact in NIL'S bathroom, so she can't use any of his stuff. Realising that she can't go through her normal bedtime she stepped back out and walked towards to her back of snacks.

Nil watched her silently. Giving her the couch seemed too douchbaggy, while giving her his bed felt too intimate, and plus he liked sleeping on the couch. So he had three options, he sleep on the bed and her on the couch, he sleep on the couch and her on the bed, or they both sleep on either the couch or the bed.

Nil made a face as he imagined his third option, but quickly went back to normal when momo turned around. Momo walked over to the couch and sat down, luckily, her being out at night in the first place was simply a momo induced need for food in the middle of the night, so she was wearing her pajamas, or, well, A big band t-shirt and shorts.

"You tired?" Nil questioned.

"A little."

Nil felt the exact same way, even if he did TRY to go to bed it would still take him a long ass time to fall asleep. So, Nil took of his jacket and slowly joined her on the couch. He grabbed the remote swiftly and hit the power button, he looked through channels, looking for something that he could fall asleep to. Momo made no move to his bedroom, infact she got more comfortable on the couch.

While nil was looking for a show, momo just gawked at him, like she usually does to people. Nil was a very strong kid, thanks to years of outdoorsy activities and portaging, his arms have really become buff, that and his whole 'don't get to close I'll only break your heart' vibe makes him a sight for her sore eyes. Yes, momo thought nil was hot, especially when he wore tank tops.

Nil picks an old cartoon and removes his boots and sits back up, making the way his his bathroom. He starts preparing for bed, and momo mind wanders. She doesn't know how to feel about sleeping in his bed, honestly, she would rather have the couch, but she isn't exalt ready to go to bed yet, so if nil is watching somthing, so is she.

Nil comes back out and heads to his bedroom. He grabs a blanket and plops back down on the couch, throwing the blanket over him. He kicks his foot so that she has a little but of blanket. He puts both his hands behind his head and looks at the screen, momo is by no means shy, she takes half of the blanket and mimics him, only with her legs being bent, as his legs are completely sprawled out.

"You not going to bed?" Nil prods .

"Dude, are you sure your cool with me being in your bed?"

"...if you want to then... you can sleep wherever you want!" Nil spurts, not wanting to tell her yes, but also not wanting to tell her no. She gives him one of her signature smirks, and turns back to the t.v, letting him know that she fine where she is.

As nil realizes that him and momo are gonna sleep on the couch together, she stretches her legs and yawns. The sudden intimacy of the position is enough to make his heart start pounding, but it's to late for all that as his eyelids are getting heavy.

Momo and nil were weirdly comfortable in this position, and nil really did try to keep his eyes to himself. But momo looked so adorable like this, he would never admit it, but she looked so cute in her sleepwear.

They just lay there, sprawled over eachother as the sleep took them. With nil anticipating waking up to her the next day, and with momo just being grateful that nil would give her a place to stay.

WARNING SLEEPINGPILLS HEADCANONS

OK, imagine this. Momo and nil are both in their 20s and living by themselves. Nil has been spiraling about his not-so-newly discovered feelings for momo, he hates to admit it but he finds himself paying attention to her from afar. So much so that he notices whenever she gets lovey-dovey with other guys.

Uh oh, momo has started dating. And now he is forced to confront his feelings.

I can imagine that nil ignores his crush until momo starts showing romantic interest in other people. He's trying so hard to deny that he likes momo, but everytime he imagines her getting married or starting a family with someone else, it makes his stomach turn. He doesn't want to lose her or blow his shot, but he's to scared to go any further than his usual bad boy persona and actually confess. What if she laughs at him? Or ditches him?

So in natural nil fashion, he just scares away her dates, and God forbid somebody mistreats momo...

But Don't get it twisted, momo likes nil back, but she's not so sure he likes her, so that's why she decided to count her loses start dating. Eventually nil let's it slip how he feels.

Middle-aged sleeping pills headcanons.

They both have gotten a lot better at cooking. They love cooking breakfast for eachother, nil does it more because he is always up before her. He cooks eggs, sunny side up, just the way momo likes it, and momo cooks them scrambled with lots of seasoning for him. It's one of their love languages, its how they show that they love each without actually saying it.

Nil's body has changed quite a bit, he's grown a bit bigger, and his hair is a little longer. He's replaced his coonskin with other caps. He has a little bit of cushion for the pushin, but make no mistake, there are active, effective muscles under the pudge. Momo loves it whenever he picks her up, or shows any feat of strength. Sometimes she likes to piss him off and then scamper away just to get man handled by him when he catches her.

Momo is strangely cold. When ever they are in bed, whenever nil feels claustrophobic in their bedroom, he'll scoop her up in his arms just to feel her cold, it comforts him. Momo always has something cute to say "you wanna hold your wife tonight?? That's adorable" and nil, instead of snapping, will just tickle her or somthin.

Nil is a fisherman and momo owns a convenience store. They own a house in pinepoint. Nil's reputation has subsided quite a bit. Now he's known as being kind towards children, he's still gruff but he's more willing to show his softness to kids and teens that he wants to make feel better.

In terms of affection, for them it's quality time. They like to watch movies and shows together whenever they can't fall asleep. They'll sit in bed with popcorn, momo will make snarky remarks about the inaccuracies of the film, and nil will be mostly silent whil curled up against her.

Momo always wants nil to react to her. She'll tell him she loves him, he'll get flustered and will have trouble saying it back, and when he finally does, she jumps on him.

Momo's store has slushies, usually after she closes down, her and nil will get slushies before they head home

Nil is fiercely protective of momo and he absolutely hates when anybody looks or talks to her sideways. But it rarely happens. Everyone knows not to fuck around with the wife of a man who's known for being hot-headed, and who destroyed the car windows of someone who was mean to his best friend back when they were teens. If he would do that for his friend, imagine what he would do for his women.

Momo has prescription glasses but she refuses to wear them. Nil constantly watches over her, making sure she doesn't hurt herself over her bad eyes sight.

"Put on your FUCKING glasses."

"I don't even need them bro!"
