“-- and then we thought it would be a good idea to feed the alpacas some fresh fruit since they can’t have any sweets. Their faces were so cute!”

The small bird chirped about the entire day as the more responsible one of the trio had her mind busy on trying to figure out what the next outfits for their life would look like. If it was anything like the last-- That would be too embarrassing! There was no way she would be able to show her face on stage like that. Kotori was about to comment on her friend’s obvious look of terror when the two spotted a young boy near the park. Leave it to Umi to become the responsible one.

“You there-- Are you lost?”

Her eyebrow twitched as she struggled with smiling naturally. Kotori gulped nervously and hoped she wasn’t coming off as scary.

“Ahaha~ Don’t worry! We’ll help you find your way back home!”

“Mhm, mhmm! I think alpacas are the perfect gifts for everyone.”

Nothing can stop her from scooping up as many of the stuffed animals into her arms, smiling sheepishly at the thought of just keeping them to herself in her room. Some late afternoon shopping always resulted in silly purchases since nobody was there to stop her.

“Hmm~ Which one is your favorite? I think they’re all cute, but the one with the sailor hat has won over~ Or maybe the one with strawberries...”

The poor shopper was given no mercy before being involved in the conversation.

Shiloh, hands quivering, finger prepared to pull the trigger, stood his ground. Determination, fear and wrath were one cataclysmic eruption in his azure blue eyes, eyes strong enough to shine beyond the wisps of his silver hair.

His voice was sharp, urgent, leaving no room for argument. Neither did his gun, aimed at a forehead.

"Don’t move! Stay right where you are!"

-- Nobody would ever actually point a real gun at her, would they? This had to be some sort of practice for a movie, or maybe one of those hidden camera shows. She might as well play along with it for a little fun! A once cheerful demeanour quickly fell,  her tone becoming desperate.

   "Don't do it! I had to rid of him... or else he would have killed all that is precious!                  Don't you understand that? I didn't have another choice!"

     ▬ Looking her over, he studied her expressions seeing that she was a rather chipper girl. Which he didn’t mind, just he wasn’t use to such a personality but he did appreciate her kindness. Upon hearing her words of him being the helper of love problems, his eyes widened and hands went up to wave frantically. “Oh no no. You got the wrong idea! That’s not my job… not at all. Love is certainly not in my expertise…heh. My job is to take care of the shrine and server the owner of it as well. But you’re most welcome to visit! And you never know, your friends may enjoy it too.”

Since when did shrines have owners--? There were obviously people who worked in maintaining the grounds, but she would have never thought there was someone who owned the places. "Hm, I see! That sounds like an interesting job... Though I think it'd get a little boring after a while. At least you're free to go out where you'd like! That's... quite an interesting outfit you're wearing. Is it related to your work?" What she really wanted to ask was wether his hair was naturally white.

     Henry picked at his scarf as he thought about her question. It was a simple spur of the moment and he could tell that she was just trying. It was admirable — to try so hard to talk someone. He appreciated it. “Toast-” he picked at his scarf again, furrowing his brows. “Toast and a banana.”

It seemed he wasn't one to pick up a conversation with anyone -- but at least he was trying. Something was better than being ignored altogether. "That sounds like the breakfast of someone in a rush-" Kotori bit her tongue realising it wasn't in her place to start making assumptions. "Ehe-- - I made waffles with strawberry syrup. Breakfast is my favourite meal because you can't get yelled at for only having sweets."
