He was already like that with strangers in general , but when they held a weapon , it made him stand his ground even more. He could even feel himself start to get excited over the potential of a new enemy. 

He has no attention paid to the voice in the back of his head telling him he’s too old for this. 

Blending in the crowd was a gift most would pay delicate attention to, but Belphegor was never one to conform to the unspoken rules or the idea of hiding within plain sight. Twirling the odd shaped knife around his finger had been a mechanism of easing his never ending boredom, almost a way to prevent an unnecessary accident. No one had paid him any mind to this fact, well, almost no one.

With a voice calling out a question towards the blond, a look mixed of boredom and apathy was his reply. A fringe of straw that covered where his eyes would have been, staring at the man much taller than himself. Not that height or body physique had mattered all too much, but it was rather obvious. By the way the stranger was holding himself, he felt threatened. Ordinary people were so easy to offend, it seems.
