Bull thatās not how u greet people, whatās wrong with you
Ā Ā Ā āI should take that as a compliment.ā
Having concern for his soldiers could be a step up, to some.
Ā Ā Ā āThereās word of a giant. Be on your guard.ā
"Giants can be fun. Much easier to run away from them though." It wasn't like they were the fastest creature. "Sooner we finish up here the sooner we can get back and relax."
"I donāt mind - whatever you want to do." Mihtriel dips her head.Ā
Ā She chuckles - fixing her cloak and moving for the door. Her hand taps gently at Kremās Ā side before she continues walking.Ā "A pint sounds like a good payment. If you do need anything else, though ā donāt hesitate to ask. I donāt mind if you need something else beyond just a drink." The elf adds, nodding up at the other.
He'll end up making two for her anyways. It was just easier that way. Krem flashed a smile, "You're offerin' me a favor. Never good to owe a mercenary a favor." Though he would never take advantage of her or anyone really.Ā A hand settled on her shoulder, the smile still present, "Let's start with that drink, hm?"
ā-A hum sounds in theĀ
back of his throat, andĀ Malcolm lets his forehead rest against the others in a short moment of silence. "Iām only-surprised."
Surprised, that was never a good thing for him. "Surprised?"Ā He frowned a bit, peering at him. "Surprised how?"
Ā Ā āGood,ā Dorian replied. Giving a pleased little smile, sipping on his own drink. āIād be absolutely heart-broken if you sprung a tiny little 'oh, but I'm married', type of detail on me now when Iāve so grown attached to you.ā So soon, too. Ah, but he wouldnāt worry about it. All in due time.
Ā Ā āDiscount? Oh, you spoil me,ā The man replied, then. With a light laugh, and a bit of a smirk. āSay - not to intrude,ā He begun, then. Head tilting a bit, a brow raising, his expression softening a tad. If only to comfort Krem, convince him that what he was about to ask was by no means a life-altering question; āYou seem a little tense. You keep fiddling with your drink, looking away. So, I suppose I have to inquire if itās because youāre not all that into this - us, whatever this is - or because youāre worried about something else.ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Hey, heād always been good at reading people; blame his terrible past for that.
Attached, yeah this wasn't good. That was around the same time he backed off...just became friends.Ā Self-doubt flooded his mind, but he reminded himself that he had good friends that backed him up and supported him.Ā He gave a little half smile to Dorian at the mention of the discount. Most of the people he liked got one and that included Dorian. Krem stared at him, expression going serious when he was questioned. "It's...somethin' else...but it might interfere with us or whatever." He had gotten yelled at before because he wasn'tĀ fully a man. He didn't want to see that anger and disgust twist on Dorian's face.Ā He'd much rather remember him with a smile or even the concern that was on his features now.Ā "I just...don't want to disappoint ya is all."
Reilinās eyes were still wide as he nodded and followed Krem, āS-Sorry I-I umā¦I made a me-ess of the camp.ā he apologized.Ā Reilin had never killed anyone-wellā¦never knife in the jugular and chest repeatedly stabbed killed somebody.Ā He hadnāt had an adrenaline rush like that in a long time.Ā
Krem knew there was a stream not too far. Not deep enough to wade in, but enough so he could get some water and clean Reilin up. "Don't worry about it. The boys are packin' up now and we'll be on our way." He wanted to calm Reilin down as much as possible. "Ya did good. Those were the two that were missin' from the report."Ā

Ā Ā Ā He chuckled, grinning wide as he led them forward to the village. Just a few more minutes and theyāll be in relative safety, within range of civilization rather than out in the open, where even what little rest was plagued by paranoia, fearing that theyād be found by some Tevinter that might recognise them.
Ā Ā Ā āYeah, itād be much nicer. Think we can stay here for a few days?ā Krem wondered aloud, the hand on her shoulder gently squeezing. Maybe he could pick up some temporary job to get them back on the road, go further south, but he wasnāt sure how far Chryssie would be comfortable following.Ā
Their whole situation was odd. They were twins, but they looked nothing alike. Well, at least at a glance. If one looked hard enough it was plain to see they had the same bone structure and eyes. "Hopefully...I'm sure we can. I grabbed some of mother's coin...but we'll need to find jobs." She worried her bottom lip.Ā They were both good at sewing as per the family business. Krem was a skilled soldier and at least Chryssie was half-way decent with a sword. She'd have to learn more to be of any use. "Let's just find a cheap room. We can share a bed." Wouldn't be the first time anyways.Ā
Big Trouble in Little Orlais | LieutenantKrem & Ataashe
The Iron Bull smothered a laugh at Kremās smart-arse reply, ducking his head a bit to disguise his horns amongst the brambles. Instead of snarking back, the Qunari settled for a rude gesture in the Vintās direction, grinning over his shoulder.
The sound of hoofbeats on the hardpacked road drew closer, and Bullās thick body bunched, ropelike muscles coiling in preparation of the assault. Cresting the rise was a single rider in terribly fine travel garb, the colors of his saddle pad and cloak a giveaway for his family crest. The frippery made it almost too easy to identify the man as their prey.
Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Bull did love it when a plan came together.
Exhaling slowly, the Qunari tipped his horns to the slide slightly, keeping Krem in his peripheral vision. Silent, they both waited as the Orlesian official rode closer, passing them without a glance and stepping right into the trap waiting for him.
Iron Bull waited, ever patient, for the horse to get all four legs within the barrier of their net, then he jerked his chin in wordless signal to Krem. Together, they gripped the ropes and pulled, Bullās heels digging into the forest floor as he hauled the net up by the system of pulleys, itās webbing enclosing on horse and rider alike and yanking them off the ground.
Yeah, this would have been a hell of a lot harder if it had just been him. He would have had to set up a completely different set of pulleys, which would have taken him a lot longer than the simple one he had set up.Ā "Hold it!"Ā Krem released, moving around Bull to grab the end of the rope so he could move and tie it to the tree securely. "Alright! You can let go, Chief."Ā Poor horse. That was the only thought the flickered through his head. "So where are we takin' him anyways?"Ā He knew, but he liked to play dumb sometimes...just to mess with Bull.

Hissrad hesitated. His nameāthis was it, this was the moment of truth, he supposed. This was the first living creature that would know his new name. This was a vital step in his reinvention.
This was his first step away from everything heād ever considered sacred. He was giving himself an identity. Yes, āthe Iron Bullā was scrawled on some Ben-Hassrath correspondence in some dusty drawer back in Par Vollen. The boys had to keep an eye on him somehow, they couldnāt just let one of their best cut loose entirely. But this was his first move in reallyĀ accepting that identity.
"I am the Iron Bull," Hissrad said numbly. The eye stung like a bitch, he took swig after swig off the flask but he couldnāt get drunk fast enough. "And I donāt do anything, anymore. I was headed South to find a merc band to join up with."
He paused, cocked a crooked smile in Kremās direction. The Vint was cute under all that protected closed-off demeanor. Heād get the kid to open up eventually.
"You should come with me," he added.
It was a strange name...then again Cremisius was a mouthful for most. He frowned Ā bit, unsure.Ā Still, he had no job...no family....no friends. "Yeah, I'll join up with ya."Ā He was a trained soldier so at least he hadĀ some experience with fighting. "Can I call ya Bull though? That title is a bit long. Can't imagine shoutin' it to warn ya about somethin'."Ā He gave off an awkward laugh.Ā Did Qunari even joke? They always seemed so stoic to him. A Vint and a Qunari. That was certainly a match made in the Fade. "Where were ya headed anyways?"Ā He finished up on his eye before moving to the wash basin to clean up a bit.

{ X } Hearing his name repeated by the other, he nodded. āYes, I am Cole and you are Krem!ā. Blue eyes shining with comfortability as he moved to sit on the floor, leaning against the wall, hat shielding parts of his face. Then tilting his head to the side before beginning to speak to the other, like if he was in some kind of trance or vision. āā¦You are satisfied with being here in Skyhold but also grateful to be with the others so you donāt have to think of slavery any longerā¦āĀ
Frowning a bit before he just clenched his own fists, the knuckles whitened and shaking due to the sudden amount of pressure he aimed to them even though he was not that strong as people could predict easily due to his appearance. Eyes fixed on the flooring.
Krem was just confused. He knew from Bull that the boy had a strange way of speaking...well at least he knew he wasn't joking about that.Ā "Slavery? What are ya talkin' about?"Ā He had to think that over.Ā Bull also said that he could get into your head...which made Krem a bit uncomfortable. "If you're referrin' to me desertin'...well the punishment isn't slavery. It's death."
Ā Ā āOh, he talks about me, does he?ā She huffed. Rolled her eyes, even if it wasnāt completely serious. āIf he does, I do hope it has nothing to do with the general gagging, binding and dragging one back to the qun.ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Really, though; she would only be friendly to a very certain point. And should there ever be talk of a qunari invasion, that point would be crossed and sheādā-⦠Well. Flee, probably, the brave apostate that she now was. Ah, worries for another time.
Ā Ā āKrem; Nice to meet you. Iām Daria of house Pavus, in case Bull didnāt mention me by name,ā She introduced herself, with a court nod and a smile. āIām actually only here to refill my wine stock, but I figured saying 'hello' to the only other Tevinter on board couldnāt hurt either.ā
"Talks about ya enough." Complained was more like it...though there was a veiled compliment here and there...most of which pertained to the mage's ass. Krem usually tuned it out. "Pavus? I think I know that name." Though she wasn't entirely familiar with all the house names, she did know a good portion of the important ones. "I don't think the Chief would convert us to the Qun anyways. Been with him this long and he hasn't tried." He also didn't act like many other Qunari she had ever met. "You could stay and have a drink with me. the Chief's not here after all."
Ā Ā āAh, a man after my own heart, arenāt you?ā Dorian replied. Smiling a rather mischievous smile, giving a nod. āCertainly, yes. Try in the very back, behind the few crates; thatās where they store the good wine. They think no-one knows, but I do.ā
Ā Ā Ā Ā Theyād tried moving that stache on a few occasions, too, but Dorian always found it. Which might quite possibly be thanks to Coleās input on the matter; heād never tell. Ā Ā āIāll pick a book while weāre at it; a classic, something in Tevene.ā
Krem couldn't help but smile back, "I'll go get the wine, you get the book. I'll meet ya at the library." It would be nice interacting with someone other than the Boss and the rest of the people that frequented the tavern. He stood and moved to the storeroom. It was a good thing he had dressed comfortably. Force of habit usually had him in armor until he was going to bed. He rummaged around for a bit before finding a good looking bottle.
Isaiah let that sink in for a bit. "I need to remember that for when we encounter giants when out. Well, we canāt do exactly that but⦠the shiny things bit." Wonder if he could create something magic related for that. "I suppose you havenāt attempted killing dragons have you?"Ā
"The Chief wishes!" Truth was, Bull wouldn't risk the Chargers because he wanted a thrill ride. Krem also wasn't too terribly fond of dragons. "You'll have to bring him with ya if ya do decide to go dragon huntin'. He'd love that."
"Control other form. Depends if someone attacks or not." Whildaer indicated with a gentle nod. "If not, then can control. Terrified last time in form."
"The fact that you can control it just shows you can learn to control it further, even when angered." That would be a nice asset. "For now, huntin' would be appreciated. Takes time out of our patrols if we have to find food for ourselves."
"Nothing too earth-shattering.Ā I plan on going home afterwards, back to Tevinter."
Dorianās look was far off somewhere. "If I want to change things, just running my mouth off about it wonāt do anything. Our Inquisitor has done many things, and they did not do it by sitting around and talking about what they want. So after, all of this world-ending business is over, I will take my leave most likely."
Krem was quiet after that, just a simple nod. Back to Tevinter.Ā He would have liked to go back and see his father, but he knew that wasn't an option. He wondered if Dorian had a better life, well he suppose he did being a Pavus.Ā "Hope you can change it for the better." If that was even possible.Ā
Reilin followed Krem to the garage and eagerly hopped onto the bike, āI umā¦where do you want me to hold onto you?ā he asked, not wanting to grab him where he might be uncomfortable.
Krem chuckled at his consideration. It was sweet. "Waist would probably be easier for ya." He smiled as he handed over a helmet before pulling one on himself.Ā Considering their size difference at least. He started up the bike, revving up a few times before moving from the back of the building to the street.
