considered a god in his own right, oikawa tooru always gets what he wants. and now, his sights are set on you.
tw: mafia elements, profanity, blood, human trafficking, alcohol use
Oikawa Tooru hates his job.
Thatâs all he can think about when he walks out of the elevator and deeper into the heart of his building.
âLord Oikawa, there are three of them, in the fourth room on your left, sir.â
Oikawa sighs as he runs a hand through his hair. âHow many times do I have to tell you to drop the honorifics, Kindaichi? My father is Lord Oikawa, I am not.â
The man in question, Kindaichi, bows his head. âYes, sir.â
âKindaichi.â
âYes, Tooru.â
Oikawa sighs. âThank you.â
When he turns the handle to the room in which the victims are held, he pauses for a second. He may hate his job, but this is the most rewarding part of it. He will always do whatever he can to help people escape his fatherâs clutches.
Oikawa steps in and immediately sees Iwaizumi standing before the glass partition. Itâs best this way; the one-way glass allows Oikawa to see and hear what the victims say, but they donât see him. If they ever find their way back into his fatherâs clutches, they wonât know anything about who had rescued them.
âOne of them will need medical attention.â
Iwaizumiâs voice is strong and steady, and Oikawa hums along as he flips through a file. Even after all these years, Oikawa doesnât know how Iwaizumi manages to keep his composure during times like this. Every time he has to venture down to these rooms, Oikawa can feel his heart breaking, tearing him apart from the inside out. He knows that after heâs finished here tonight, he will return back upstairs to his apartment and drink until the pain is numbed away.
âWhat happened?â Oikawa flips another page.
âShe fought back.â
Iwaizumiâs voice wavers for the first time in years. Oikawa looks up and meets his eyes, eyebrows raising.
Iwaizumi gestures to the glass. âJust look.â
So, he does.
And immediately regrets doing so.
The other two, a boy and a girl who appear to be siblings, are curled up together in the corner, a blanket covering them.
But you.
You stand in front of them, arms crossed over your chest, obscuring the siblings from complete view. Youâre looking straight at him, like you can see through the glass. Your murderous gaze sends a shiver down Oikawaâs spine, but he forces himself to look back at you, to take stock of the injuries you have.
Thereâs blood running down your face from a deep cut on your forehead. Your knuckles are bruised and split open. Your clothes are torn, scrapes and bruises littering the skin that is exposed. Your left wrist is twisted unnaturally where it rests on your other arm.
But despite it all, youâre still standing there, protecting the siblings, and staring through the glass straight into Oikawaâs soul.
---
Your memory is hazy.
You remember leaving the bar after your closing shift and starting your walk home. You remember being grabbed by someone and told to stay quiet. You remember the shooting pain of a needle in your arm.
Then, your memory becomes unreliable.
You woke up in a transport container with the siblings behind you. You never managed to get their names. You remember that you couldnât stay awake for long periods of time, that sleep kept pulling you under. You remember someone busting open the containerâs lock and grabbing the three of you, pulling you out and promising safety. You remember fighting back and not trusting their words.
And now, youâre here.
You know that someone is watching you on the other side of the glass. You know that youâre injured. You know that the siblings are scared out of their minds.
But all you can do is stand your ground, and stare at the glass.
---
âShe wonât let anyone near them.â
Iwaizumiâs voice pulls Oikawa out of his stupor. Heâs too focused on you, on how youâre staring straight through him, at how youâre standing tall despite the obvious pain you must be feeling.
âNot even Emi?â
If anyone could break through your strong façade, it would be Emi. Sheâs kind and gentle, exactly the type of person for this job.
âShe told Emi that she wanted to speak to whoever was in charge and refused medical care or help for any of them until she speaks to that person.â
Oikawa runs a hand through his hair and sighs. If he has to do this, he will. If only to get you and the siblings the help and care that you all need.
---
When the door opens, your defensive demeanor returns. These people may have promised you safety, but there is nothing safe about this situation.
You expect the woman from earlier to walk in, but to your surprise, itâs a man around your age, in a ruffled suit and an unsettling smile on his face. Heâs young and objectively handsome; it leaves a bitter taste in your mouth. He approaches you slowly, and you anchor your feet to the ground, refusing to step backwards. You donât trust him; why should you?
âWho are you?â Mercifully, your voice doesnât shake.
The manâs smile softens as he stops a few feet away from you. âOikawa Tooru. Iâm the one who brought you here.â
âWhat do you want?â
âNothing, really.â He shrugs and eyes the arm that youâre clutching. âIâd like to get you all medical attention and find their parents,â he gestures to the siblings, âand then you can do whatever you would like.â
You eye him suspiciously. He seems sincere, but you never truly know in this world. âHow do I know youâre telling the truth?â
Oikawa looks towards the glass. âCould you ask Emi to come back in, please?â
---
The other reason Emi is so crucial to these situations is because of her experience. She herself was one of the very first that Oikawa rescued from his fatherâs clutches, but he will be forever indebted to her for all that she does for the other victims.
Mere seconds pass before Emi is walking in, sending you a quick glance before smiling at Oikawa. âWhat can I do for you, Tooru?â
âIf you donât mind, Iâd like them to know that Iâm serious about letting them free. Itâs normal to be suspicious, but Iâd like to prove to them that they are safe now.â
Emi just smiles and bows her head. âOf course, Tooru.â
Oikawa watches as Emi approaches you and begins speaking softly. After a few minutes, she reaches her hands forward and gently grasps your wrist, checking for range of motion. Oikawa breathes a sigh of relief. The hard work is done now that you trust at least Emi. He makes for the door, but your voice stops him.
âExcuse me?â Your voice is less hostile than it was earlier, and Oikawa pauses with his hand on the door handle.
âYes?â
âIâd like to stay with them if thatâs alright. Just to make sure.â
Oikawa nods and smiles. âOf course. Iâll come down tomorrow and check on the three of you.â
His heart squeezes when he hears a soft âthank youâ as heâs leaving.
---
Tokyo looks small from his balcony. It sprawls for miles around him, but up here, high above it, it seems miniscule and insignificant. Even the glow of the nightlife seems dim. He swirls the whiskey tumbler in his grip before taking a sip, listening to the rhythmic tinkling of the ice hitting the glass.
When the balcony doors open behind him, he pretends that he doesnât flinch.
âEmi got the three of them settled in for the night. Theyâre all eating, and Kiyokoâs on her way to check the injuries.â
Oikawa smiles softly, eyes still on the city below him. âThank you, Iwaizumi.â
âYour father wants to see you tomorrow.â
Oikawa stiffens. âNo.â
He hears Iwaizumi sigh and sees him rest his elbows on the railing out of the corner of his eye. âYou know you donât have a choice.â
Oikawa glances to the side. âYouâll come with me, right?â
Iwaizumi smiles one of his rare smiles and steals the whiskey tumbler from Oikawaâs hand. âOf course, I will.â
Oikawa allows some of the tension to leave his body. âThank you.â
Iwaizumi downs the rest of the whiskey and sets the glass next to Oikawaâs elbow. âYou also have four other meetings tomorrow with various clients.â
Resting his head on his forearms, Oikawa sighs. âOf course, I do.â
Iwaizumiâs voice is teasing when he replies. âHey, it pays to be the Great King of Tokyo.â

tw: none! just soft fluffiness here :)
a/n: this chapter is v short bc i felt that this series really didnât need much more. tysm to everyone who has read this, ily all sm <3
You open your eyes to light snores and sunshine streaming in through your blinds. You grin as you turn and come face to face with a still sleeping Suna. He looks so calm, so peaceful.
You trace your fingers over his eyelids, across his cheeks and down to his jaw. Your light touches cause him to stir, and he opens his bleary eyes with a smile on his face.
âGood morning, angel.â
âGood morning, Rin.â
He presses his lips to yours and then buries his head in your shoulder.
âTell me this is real.â
You laugh softly, carding your fingers through his hair. âOf course, itâs real.â
âGood. Now, letâs stay here for the rest of the day.â
You roll your eyes. âI have studying to do.â
âHalf the day.â
âNo.â
âFour hours.â
âNo.â
âThree hours.â
âFine.â
You donât leave the bed at all.
---
Nothing really changes now that youâve both confessed your feelings.
At the end of it all, youâre still best friends, and thatâs what matters.
---
Love is difficult and complicated, but loving Suna Rintarou is not.
It is easy, like second nature to you. Maybe itâs because youâve spent your entire life loving him. Regardless of the cause, it is simple, and it is beautiful.
You both grow older, you both graduate college and find jobs, you buy your first house together. Life moves on, but you donât.
Your relationship with Suna Rintarou remains blissful and full of love.
No matter the challenges you face, separate or alone, Suna Rintarou will always be right there.
will we ever know why ynâs friend kissed suna and was pissed at her? also what did kenma saw on his phone that he rushed away from ynâs apartment? is it related to kuroo? also why all of a sudden kuroo ended the relationship/thing with kayla? đ§đ§
kaiya kissed suna to spite y/n; bottom line, she was just a bad/fake friend. she took advantage of y/n's feelings for suna to hurt her, pretty much
as for what kenma saw, if you're asking about what made him gasp before showing y/n the post, he recieved a text from kuroo telling him about it.
kuroo ended his relationship with kaiya bc he saw through her fakeness. she talked shit about y/n to him, and he didn't like that.

You donât get to stay long enough to see Kaiyaâs reaction, because Kenma and Suna drag you out of the house as the host of the party and Kaiyaâs other friends yell and scream at you.
When youâre finally on the sidewalk, still shivering from your anger, Kenma and Suna let you go. You expect to be yelled at; after all, youâve just ruined their night out. The reaction you get is quite different.
Both Suna and Kenma fall into hysterics, laughing so hard they canât breathe.
You cross your arms and glare at them.
âWhat the fuck are you laughing about?â
Suna wipes tears from his eyes and clutches his stomach. âY-you, you broke her n-nose!â
âItâs not that funny.â
âIt really is.â Kenma finally composes himself and swings an arm around Sunaâs shoulders. âCan you believe it? Our little y/n is all grown up, swinging fists and breaking noses.â
You roll your eyes as they fall into laughter again. âShut up. What are we going to do now? I got us kicked out.â
âAhh, donât worry angel, it was well worth it.â
Kenma nods along to Sunaâs words. âYeah, weâll just go to a club or something.â
You sigh. âFine.â
---
Clubbing was an awful idea.
Seeing Kaiya had quickly sobered you up, but now, after hours of dancing and drinking, youâre wasted. Suna is still talking about your punch, telling everyone whoâll listen how proud he is of his angel for breaking a nose. You feel some sense of pride when he does, a warm feeling floating through your body. Or maybe thatâs the alcohol.
Regardless, youâre happy. Happy that you were kicked out, happy that the night isnât ruined, happy that youâre here with Suna and Kenma.
Not that youâve seen much of Kenma.
He was dragged away by some older women the moment you stepped into the club. You were sure Kenma would protest as he was led to a booth off to the side, but he went completely willingly. You peek around Suna to make sure heâs still alive and breathing over there, and sure enough, heâs being fawned over by the women, multiple empty shot glasses sitting in front of him. Hey, you wonât judge. Heâs getting drunk for free.
âWhatâre you looking at, angel?â
Suna, on the other hand, is driving you crazy. He isnât completely wasted, but tipsy enough that his voice has gained a scratchiness to it and his hands are wandering more than you should let them.
âJust making sure Kenma hasnât been eaten alive by the cougars yet.â
Suna laughs. âOh, heâll be fine.â
You take Sunaâs word for it and continue dancing with him, trying to ignore the way his hands seem to scorch your skin when they glide over your hips. You may be drunk, but youâre still coherent enough to see the way his eyes cloud over with lust when you grind against him. You could do it; you think. There isnât a significant distance between his lips and yours. You could close it and feel his mouth on yours, the way he would probably grip your hips tighter and-
What the fuck are you doing.
Embarrassed, you look away from where you were staring at his lips. You pray that he doesnât notice, pray that he doesnât say anything. Friends can do this, right? They can dance together and drink together and think about-
âI love you, angel.â
Sunaâs voice snaps you back into the present. This is new. This isnât a drunken high-induced phone call at midnight; this is real life. Sure, he says it before you leave in the morning and before going to bed, but this feels different. Thereâs something in his eyes, something off. Maybe heâs drunk; or maybe youâre drunk and imagining things.
âLove you too, Rin.â
His hand comes up to cup your cheek and you try not to make it obvious that youâre leaning into his touch. âI love you a lot, y/n.â
You giggle. âI know you do.â
He pauses, his eyes searching your face. âDo you?â
You tilt your head ever so slightly and really look at him. âOf course, I do.â
âDo you love me the way I love you?â
The question takes you by surprise. Sunaâs eyes are perfectly clear; heâs coherent and appears completely sober. âWhat are you talking about, Rin?â
âI love you.â
âI- â
âAnd not in the way I should.â
You knit your eyebrows at his choice of words and the expression on his face. He looks like heâs letting go of something, saying goodbye forever. Youâre about to ask him what he means when he leans closer to you and whispers, your lips almost touching.
âIâm sorry.â
Before you can question him, before you can even comprehend his words, he presses his lips to yours. Your mind moves at a mile a minute. You didnât do that, did you? Definitely not. It was definitely Suna. So that means-
You gasp when he deepens the kiss. Heâs gentle, oh so gentle, like heâs afraid you might break. His lips are warm against yours. You canât focus on anything else; nothing but how delicately heâs kissing you.
Itâs all too soon when he pulls away. âWha- â
âIâm sorry.â His eyes are soft, his face full of adoration. âI shouldnât love you, but I do. Youâre too good for me, but youâre everything I want. Youâre my best friend, and Iâll love you forever.â
Youâre speechless when Suna turns away from you. You canât comprehend whatâs happening, but somehow, you manage to grab his wrist before he walks away and press your lips to his.
When you pull away, there are tears in your eyes. âI love you, Rin.â
His surprise is evident. âYou do?â
âOf course, I do,â you laugh, âIâve loved you for as long as I can remember.â
His smile is so wide, you canât help but smile too. You canât ignore the tears that are in his eyes too, and it sends a pang to your heart. You canât believe it. Suna loves you.
âReally?â
âYes, really,â you press another kiss to his lips, âCan we go home now?â
He sputters, his cheeks turning red. You laugh at him as he nods furiously. You can only pray he gets over his shyness soon.
The boy youâve loved for as long as you can remember loves you back, and youâre going to celebrate.
---
Sunaâs grip on your hips is relentless as he pushes you up against your bedroom door. He kisses down your neck, teeth gently scraping. The moans you are letting out are anything but quiet, and you pray that your neighbors canât hear them.
You tangle your fingers in his hair, gently pulling at the strands. He lifts you and opens your bedroom door, walking over to your bed with his lips still attached to your skin.
When he sets you down and lays you back on the pillows, you take a second to just look at him. Suna Rintarou, the man youâve been hopelessly in love with for so many years. Even now, in the confines of your bedroom, his eyes are shining not with lust, but with complete love and affection. His hands trace your body in reverence, slowly removing your dress.
âWhen I bought this for you, I never thought I would have the chance to take it off.â
You smile at his words and get to work unbuttoning his shirt. âWell, it seems your chance is now.â
âI hope it wonât be my last.â
You finish with the buttons and toss his shirt to the side. âIâm not letting you go that easily.â
Suna places your dress on the floor and smiles down at you. âGood.â
He captures your lips once again, his teeth gently biting at your bottom lip and his tongue running against your teeth. He moves to your neck again, slowly making his way down your body as you start undoing his belt. He removes your bra with one hand, the other massaging at your breast, before he leans down and captures one of your nipples with his teeth. The action makes you pause with his belt, your hands shooting up to scratch at his back, loud moans slipping from your mouth. You canât help when your hips buck up of their own accord, and you gasp when Suna presses his thigh against your core.
You grind on his thigh, even when he releases your nipple and sits up.
âAre you okay with having your hands tied?â
âH-huh?â
He undoes his belt, then motions for your wrists. âCan I tie your wrists together, angel?â
You squirm when you realize what he wants to do, nodding your head furiously. âP-please.â
He smirks down at you. âPlease, what?â
The tone of his voice has you grinding even harder. âPlease, Rin.â
âTry again, angel.â
You groan. âR-Rintarou, please.â
âGood girl.â
He nearly growls the praise, and it goes straight to your head. He quickly secures his belt around your wrists, watching you as you try to move your hands.
Then, you realize why he tied them.
Suna runs a finger over your clothed slit, making you shiver. Your panties are surely soaked with your wetness, and embarrassment floods through you. He slips your underwear down your legs, tossing them off to the side. You barely have a chance to breathe before Suna grabs at your thighs and licks a stripe up your pussy. You try to move your hands, reach down for him, ground yourself, anything, but you canât. You cry out when his lips latch to your clit, screaming when he sucks, hard. Your orgasm hits you suddenly, making you buck your hips against his face and leaving you trembling, moaning Sunaâs name over and over.
Suna sits up, and you gasp when he pushes a finger into your cunt. He presses his lips to yours before inserting another finger, making you moan into his mouth. You clench your walls at the taste of your own wetness on his lips.
As he continues kissing you, Suna undoes the belt with one hand. As soon as your wrists are freed, you get to work on unbuttoning his jeans and tugging them down. You pull away from Sunaâs lips to fumble for a condom in your nightstand, finally finding one and tearing the wrapper open. You slide it onto his length. Suna removes his fingers, leaving you clenching around nothing, and licks your wetness off. You moan at the sight, then gasp when Suna grabs your hips and pulls you closer, lifting your legs to rest on his shoulders.
He pushes into you slowly, allowing you to adjust to his length. You scratch at his back when he picks up the pace, crying out when he hits the spot inside of you that makes you see stars. You can already feel your impending orgasm.
You babble incoherently when Suna lifts your hips, his fingers digging into your soft flesh. Tears slip from your eyes and run down your cheeks as he pounds into you relentlessly, his soft moans making you go crazy.
He removes a hand from your hip to play with your clit, watching as you arch your back into his touch.
âCâmon, angel, come for me.â
Sunaâs voice makes shivers run down your body, and you cry out as your orgasm hits its precipice, your pussy clenching around his length. He follows, burying his face into your neck and biting down softly on your collar bone when he comes.
Afterward, he cleans you up and holds you close. You listen to Sunaâs strong heartbeat and sort through everything that has happened in the past six hours.
âI love you, Rintarou.â
Suna gives you a lazy grin and presses his lips to yours.

Suna Rintarou: your oldest childhood friend, your longest (unrequited) love, your college roommate. Sunaâs scandalous reputation is getting worse, and you vow to find another love interest before you get entangled in his sinful ways. The only problem? Sunaâs always been right here.
You gave him hardly any information on the phone. He doesnât know anything about what is wrong. Should he be calling the police? Did someone break in? Are you injured or sick? Itâs obvious that you were crying, but about what? Kenma has surely left by now, and Suna doubts he would do anything to you.
Have you found out about your snake of a best friend?
Suna takes the stairs two at a time up to the apartment. The door is unlocked, and youâre bundled up in a blanket in the center of the couch, tears running down your cheeks. Suna canât take off his shoes fast enough, tripping over his own feet trying to get to you. When he pulls you into his arms, you break down even more, sobbing so hard that he canât make out your words.
Itâs only a second later that he recognizes the faint smell of marijuana on your breath.
---
You should be mad at Suna, but all you want to do is let him hold you while you cry. You want to let the tears carry away all of your troubles, but you know that wonât solve anything. Though your mind is hazy, you know you need to figure out the why to this mess.
Suna pulls back slightly, wiping away your tears with his fingers. âWhy did you smoke alone?â
Shrugging, you look away. Leave it to Suna to immediately figure that out.
âTalk to me, angel. Whatâs going on?â
Sunaâs voice is soft, and worry is evident on his face. The look in his eyes is one you canât identify; not with everything currently running through your mind. You should be mad, you should be screaming at him, but you canât. He came when you called; he rushed home to you. Something in his face dissolves all the anger you should hold for him.
âWhyâd you kiss her?â
Suna looks startled, like he wasnât expecting you to know. âKaiya? How did you find out?â
Although his words seem suspicious, the tone he uses is gentle. You fumble for your phone and show him the Instagram story, still posted for everyone on campus to see. His expression changes as he takes it in; from worry to surprise to anger.
âWhat the fuck?â
You just shrug again.
âAngel, youâre going to have to trust me. Do you trust me?â
His question makes you pause. Trust. Heâs your best friend; heâs been by your side for as long as you can remember. But after everything thatâs happened, do you trust him?
âShould I?â
His anger and worry are replaced by sadness. You havenât really talked about the incident with Kenma, his sudden trip home, or anything else thatâs been bothering you. Your question obviously hit somewhere deep inside Suna, and he looks at you as if heâs seeing you for the first time. When he speaks again, his eyes are lined with silver and his voice is barely above a whisper.
âIâm sorry.â
You just nod, acknowledging his apology. There is nothing to say, nothing to do but listen for the rest of the story.
âI wasnât planning on going to the party, but my friends were going, and I didnât want to interrupt you and Kenma, so I went. I didnât even know Kaiya was there until she just walked up to me and kissed me. I didnât know anyone took a picture, and she walked away right after. I figured it might have been a dare or something stupid, so I didnât say anything. I was planning on telling you when I came home.â
Suna searches your face for any indicator of how youâre feeling, but you keep your expression blank. Youâre going to have to choose to trust him. You donât think he would lie about something like this.
âOkay.â
Suna relaxes his posture at your omission. âAre you alright, angel?â
No, you think. You trusted Kaiya, and she betrayed you. Suna may be an innocent bystander, but your heart is hurt by him too. âI will be.â
He leans in to hug you, and you let him. âHow about we watch a movie? Take your mind off things.â
You nod your head and let him deal with the remote and picking a movie. When he chooses one and you both settle down on the couch, he wraps his arms around you.
The world feels so much smaller when youâre in Sunaâs arms. Your stress and worries melt away, because you know that no matter what, Suna will always be right here.
---
You contemplate staying home on Monday, but Suna drags you out of the apartment and to class. Mercifully, you donât see Kaiya, and Suna and Kenma stay by your side. The week follows in much of the same fashion. Kaiya is nowhere to be found, and instead you spend your time with Suna and Kenma. You almost regret introducing them; together they are ruthless. Theyâve apparently worked through whatever problems they had with each other, and now they are never apart. Your sleep schedule has been greatly disturbed by them playing video games together until dawn and Kenma has taken up residence on your couch. While youâre thrilled that they get along, you also wish for some peace and quiet.
You never do get your peace and quiet though, because on Friday morning, Suna wakes you with a cup of coffee and an unnerving smile.
You sit up in bed and take the coffee. âWhat do you want?â
He has the audacity to look offended. âWhat do you mean? Canât I just bring my angel coffee in bed?â
Groaning, you get up and start getting ready for the day. âCut the shit, Rin. I know you want something.â
As you look through your closet, you hear Sunaâs sigh and the sound of him collapsing onto your bed. Sure enough, when you turn around, heâs curled up under the blankets. âWeâre going out tonight.â
âYou and Kenma?â
He tosses a pillow at your face. âNo, the three of us.â
Your face must give away your displeasure because he sighs again.
âHear me out. You and I havenât gone to a party together in a while, and you deserve a break. Plus, with both Kenma and me there, we know youâll be safe.â You roll your eyes and Suna pouts. âCâmon, itâll be fun.â
âFine, Iâll go.â
Suna tosses the blankets off and grins. âI knew you would.â
âUnder one condition.â
The smile disappears from his face, and he waves his hand for you to continue.
âYou cook dinner for a whole week, plus bring me coffee and lunch.â
âThatâs more than one condition, but fine.â Suna gets up and presses a kiss to the top of your head as he passes by you. âHurry up. Kenmaâs making pancakes.â
You roll your eyes when the fire alarm goes off a few minutes later.
---
âYouâre taking forever, angel, hurry up.â
Youâve only been in the bathroom doing your makeup for ten minutes, but you let Sunaâs whining slide. Heâs suspiciously excited about this party, even going as far as buying you a new dress to wear and handing you a shot of vodka as soon as you walked into the apartment this afternoon. The door thuds, and you guess that Suna has given up on standing and is now sliding down the outside of the door. You donât know how much heâs had to drink already; when you got home, he and Kenma were playing Mario Kart, a half-full bottle of vodka in front of them.
When youâve finished getting ready, you walk out into the living room, only to be met with exasperated sighs and complaints.
âWhy do you take so long?â This one comes from Kenma, whoâs upside down over the side of the couch, his hair falling to the ground.
âDude, I know, right?â Suna takes a sip from the vodka bottle and then pours some into Kenmaâs mouth.
âAre we going or not?â
Both boys shoot up and walk to the door.
âYou look nice, by the way.â
Kenmaâs already stumbling over his own feet down the sidewalk, and you laugh. âThanks, Kenma.â
Suna throws an arm over your shoulder. âI knew this dress would look great on you. Thatâs why Kenma and I have to come with you, because everyoneâs gonna be all over you.â
âUh-huh, okay, Sunarin.â You gently shove his arm from your shoulder. âMore like Iâm going to be taking care of the two of you, because youâre both already wasted.â
Suna rapidly shakes his head. âWe arenât wasted. Itâll wear off soon anyways, and then weâll get to start fresh.â
From a few feet ahead, Kenma nods his head. âStart fresh.â
You roll your eyes and continue the journey to the party.
---
You hate to admit it, but Suna was right. Both he and Kenma are no longer staggering around drunk, and youâre actually having fun. Youâve had just enough alcohol to give you a slight buzz, and you split a blunt with Suna and Kenma, leaving your head light and hazy. Now, Kenmaâs off to God knows where; something about this hot computer science girl. The music pounds, and you dance with Suna, your drink sloshing in your cup. He keeps one hand on your waist and the other holds his cup. The music changes and he leans forward to talk.
âIâm getting another drink. You want one?â
You nod and pass him your cup, watching as he easily gets through the crowd of people and into the kitchen. You sigh. It must be nice to be that tall.
You spot Kenma through the crowd, weaving his way over to you and looking slightly dejected.
âDidnât go as planned?â
He downs the rest of his cup and sighs. âSheâs not a comp-sci girl.â
You roll your eyes. âWhatâs your deal with comp-sci girls anyway? Iâm not a comp-sci girl, and you still fucked me.â
âThatâs different. I think I want something more long-term, and I want a girl who knows her comp-sci shit.â
âI feel like I should be offended.â
Now itâs Kenmaâs turn to roll his eyes. âShut up. You and Suna are both obsessed with each other, and you know it. I never stood a chance.â
âWe are not!â
âUh, yeah, you are.â
Thankfully, Suna returns with your drinks, so youâre spared from the rest of that conversation. The three of you dance together for awhile until Kenma freezes.
âWhatâs the matter?â Heâs white as a sheet, like he just saw a ghost. You turn to see what heâs looking at, but Sunaâs hand on your shoulder stops you.
âCan you get me another drink, y/n? From the kitchen?â
You look at Sunaâs full cup, then try to turn again. This time, you spot what they saw.
Kaiya.
Maybe itâs the alcohol and your high, maybe itâs the fact that youâre feeling the best youâve felt since you saw that Instagram post, but you press your cup to Sunaâs chest and approach her. Anger burns hot in your chest, making your hands clench into fists. You think you can hear Suna and Kenma behind you, telling you to stop, but all you can focus on is the white-hot rage that flows through your veins.
She doesnât even see you coming.
Not until youâre right in front of her, knocking her cup from her hands.
Not until you practically shout at her, snarling, âYouâre a fucking bitch. Wouldnât you agree?â
And not until your clenched fist comes up, meeting her nose with the force of all your fury.
hmm Iâm a people pleaser so I try to figure out what their love language is but I tend to default on acts of service and quality time !! I love spending time with those I care about, so thatâs my fav <3
Iâm really into documentaries lately, but I like romance and action/adventure. For video games, I like âcozy gamesâ like animal crossing and things like genshin or fire emblem (I cannot wait until genshin comes to switch) also if anyone had switch game recs let me know !!
