Keanu Reeves - John Wick: Chapter 3 Parabellum (2019)
I'm manifesting that 2026 will finally be the year that I can afford to buy a Scythe necklace from Parabellum 🥰🙏🏼🖤
How successful would John Wick (re-trial)…
…be if they decided to become a pro-wrestler?

If you want peace, prepare for war…
They really should have left his dog alone.
Looking forward to seeing John Wick 4 in the cinema very soon!

So, Testament said the metal satellite radio station would play a new song today.
And they did! It's called "Infanticide A.I.".
The way that the metal station exclusive-premieres (this is before they drop for the general public) songs is that they play it once an hour (except if during a show/recurring program/guest Dj spot) on that day. As such, I was able to hear it once on my morning commute to work, and once on my evening commute home.
Here are some thoughts/impressions. Or at least as best as I can remember, because I was, you know, driving.
Maybe this is just a Me Thing, but whenever I hear the word "Infanticide", I always think of "Harvester of Sorrow". And then that song gets stuck in my head.
Liking the intro. Already knocking me back in my driver's seat a bit. I can see this kicking off a show and/or the album itself. Always a sucker for little twin guitar bits.
YES FAST TEMPO. Sounding brutal off the bat. Chris Dovas MVP, killing it on the drums here.
I would understand if one said the lyrics are a bit surface-level, a bit fearmongery, but I honestly agree/am fearful of some of these same things; that AI will destroy us, etc. Kinda makes me think of Fear Factory or like, mid-period Nevermore.
Return of some of Chuck's death vocals, nice.
Catchy chorus.
Solo came and went. Maybe could have been a bit longer. Maybe I'm biased.
Part of me thinks that after the bridge, there could have been one more go of the chorus instead of the first couple lines of the first verse before ending. But at least it didn't overstay its welcome. It just ended sooner than expected.
But overall, thumbs up and great job!!! Loved it! Hoping this will be a good sign for the rest of the album, and I'm excited for it to drop in October (my birthday month!!)!
