tl;dr of Kakao M vs Spotify

Kakao M felt like Spotify’s expansion to Korea meant that Melon (Kakao M owned streaming service) would lose market share, so they blocked all Kakao M distributed songs from Spotify Korea. In protest, and rightfully so, Spotify blocked those songs worldwide. Stand against Kakao M, their anti-consumer practices, and selfish dirty monopolistic tactics.
