Concept playlists for an odd childhood

It’s 2012 & things felt weird, the air was different, & the setting of your old house stays in your brain non stop when listening to this playlist.. because it was comforting being a kid, playing free Minecraft games that aren’t actually Minecraft.. meeting new people & living in your own little world at 12am when it was considered “late”.. & everything was so colourful..

This is a playlist that really makes you feel good.. it’s corny & full of songs you probably wouldn’t think about listening to but when you do you realize how good they are.. the 2010+ hits playing in kohls.. playing in the car on the way home from school.. etc.. this feeling was cheesy at the time.. but nowadays it feels so good to look back on the innocent fun jams

You grew up with parents that aren’t filtered.. & don’t care if their kid(s) see the real them.. they cuss, listen to rap music.. or, music “your parents would hate” but they don’t care.. they raised you to be tough, funny as hell, but respectful.. until it isn’t anymore.. shout out to boosie badazz & twista etc. for this playlist.. these are down south slaps ;D

This playlist is more spot on to my life.. with a mix of my parents & growing up being the only child, finding my own interests, etc. this is a bonus playlist because it won’t resonate with everyone.. but, it could.. & it’s here..

Random/night time concept playlists like I said I’d make (Spotify)

It’s very late at night, & you’re in your bed, dim lighting & maybe some candles.. you’re feeling more on the hip hop side but more chill. Everything feels right

Its 9:00pm & you’re in the passenger side of your friends (or s/o’s) car, the windows are down & the breeze blows your hair, you’re actually comfortable, the lights of the city at night aren’t too bright. You’re feeling like listening to hip hop, maybe more upbeat but still on the chill side, maybe some slower rap songs, or just slower, vibes songs in general.

It’s the spring almost summer, the sun is out & life feels like the color yellow. Your window is open & you’re maybe doing some chores or just picking up your space & just relaxing, dancing here & there. The breeze flows through your room making the curtains flow, the lighting from the sun makes your room a pretty bright orange color & you’re happier than youve ever been :)

Same concept as the last one- but it’s getting darker & the vibes are starting to settle down, you lit a candle or two, & the lights are dim, maybe an orange color to mimic the sun you miss from earlier. You play a mix of lofi sad songs with the happy songs to were listening to earlier to get yourself back grounded, not sad, but more emotionally chill, getting in touch with your feelings but not too much

(Short playlist) Mainly gta inspired, you’re on the game at night, it’s night time in los santos, your speeding around the map on the way to San Andreas (the long way) & non-stop-pop FM starts to play
