so i was running from mobs to get to the next personal story step, and this fuckin vinetooth decided it was time to say “fuck it” to the laws of gravity so it could take a meaty bite out of my asura ass

if the whole perverse refusal of following basic laws wasn’t enough it kept teleporting to me and shrieking its little vinetooth shriek until i finally landed on the ground

elementalist: on the outside you may seem like a kind and knowledgeable player but secretly you are dead inside

necromancer: never left your goth phase

mesmer: you either hate yourself or you hate everyone around you, but probably both

ranger: youre just here to have a good fun time and you tend to get in trouble for tabbing out to tumblr while youre waiting for the other members in a dungeon

thief: same as mesmer but you wanted to be able to hate everyone while watching netflix in another window

engineer: you’ve long stopped giving a rats ass about what others think of you and have given up on skill rotations and just resigned to bashing your face on the keyboard at this point

warrior: you’re a dirty elitist, enjoy instant gratification, or both. the real question is whether you’re in denial about it or not

guardian: you probably highly value helping others and feeling useful but not at the expense of having to put in a lot of effort

it’s too soon after HoT and the playerbases for revenant and herald don’t have a discernible personality since EVERYONE is playing them. also this is only the snarky version of the post above and the kind one is floating around somewhere but

i can tell you that the elite specs in the long run will be nearly the exact same, except with the following fairly neutral-tone additions:

tempest: you love the warhorn fart noises and tempest is just really fucking funny to you. i agree

reaper: you probably mained necro and honestly i don’t really have a comment here, look, i hope you’re having fun with that greatsword because you’ve suffered enough and deserve to have nice things now

chronomancer: i don’t really know how chronomancer plays but my head kind of hurts trying to figure out mesmer skills and chronomancer doesn’t make that better so i’m just gonna assume you’re really dedicated to mesmer here and you scare me just a little bit

druid: all of the druids i met just like to have fun honestly you probably just love helping people and running around with your fancy tree stick and i’m happy for you

daredevil: all of the daredevil players i’ve met are really still their same casual-edgelord i-love-ganking-people-in-eotm fun but purposefully slightly assholey selves tbh. good for yall for maintaining your brand

scrapper: iM A FUCKIGN SCRAPPER MAIN AND I WILL TELL YOU THAT WHAT SCRAPPER SAYS ABOUT US IS THAT WE ARE EXHAUSTED BUT ELATED AND HAVING THE TIME OF OUR LIVES AFTER KILLING OUR WRISTS TRYING TO USE EXCLUSIVELY GRENADE ENGI BUILDS FOR LIKE THREE YEARS. LET US LIVE

berserker: the exact same as warrior was before but after chugging a bunch of red bull

dragonhunter: dragonhunters seem to be split 50/50 between meta-y players who are actually enjoying the new builds, and people who aren’t meta at all but dragonhunter has this sort of oddly anime-esque ~graceful arrow-slinging guardian of light and justice and fire!!!~ appeal and they’re here for that. usually yall are both simultaneously
