You go to the Goodreads review of a really well written and inventive literary fiction by an acclaimed, talented author, preferably an author of colour from the global south. "Too pretentious, trying too hard to be clever and deep" says the most popular review by someone with a big booktok/bookstagram. You go to their page. Their most favourite and highest rated books are The Raven Cycle, If We Were Villains, Daisy Jones and the Six and The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue. You close Goodreads, not merely with disappointment, but with a deeper understanding of literary comprehension in the 21st century.
The Lecture Hall Complex is certainly one of my most favourite places in IITD. It is calm and serene and it amazes when I think about everything being taught in each classroom, theorems being proved (even disproved) and many new beginnings being written.
I wish to write my own too.
But there is always a fear in my heart. The fear of fitting in. The fear of losing everything. The fear of proving myself. Every single day.
Somedays are great. Somedays I feel, one mistake and there it all goes.
But still, I wish to write my own story.
It would be tough to write here but that is certainly something that will not stop me from doing so.
I guess that’s what they call new beginnings.
Well, cheers to that.
The fog is clearing and the pitfalls are apparent.

My district court internship is progressing well, and my time at home is being spent productively! I even went for a light jog in the morning!
A dive into constitutional history - sooo many additional insights into conflicts between institutions that lead to Constitutional developments! My professors will be proud, I think
