"Hari ini kamu kemana?" Tanya E.

"Mau jemput adik aku di stasiun senen, tapi paginya kondangan dulu."

"Aku dijalan mau ke pandeglang, acara baksos dari kantor." Ujarnya.

"Oh, hati2 dijalan."

20 menit kemudian, E video call.

"Dimana?" Tanyanya.

"Nunggu temen di halte, janjian pergi kondangannya."

"Ok, hati2 dijalan ya."

Kemudian dia mematikan video callnya. Dia itu tiap hari video call, tapi cuma sekali dan itupun ga pernah lebih dari 3 menit. Kadang suka mikir ini orang beneran serius atau engga sama aku, tapi kata orang "cinta boleh, tapi jangan bucin." Ini kali yah yang mereka maksud? Kita ga harus selalu tiap detik tiap menit tiap jam nanya soal pasangan kita, yang penting ketika tahu kabar dia hari itu. Eh kok pasangan? Emangnya udah jadian sama E? Hahaha 🤣

Sorenya. Temen deket orang yang bikin aku bucin kirim foto.

"Sis, ini aku hibahkan foto dia."

"Astaghfirullah, sis. Katanya suruh moveon, kamu malah kirim foto dia. Huhuhu sedih. Ga kuat hahaha."

"Jangan tergoda dengan ketampanannya, sis. Tapi lihat kesiapan dia. Hahaha."

"Bukan karena dia tampan sih, tapi dia manis, eh sama aja ya? Haha. Tapi gimana ya, aku udah terlanjur memperhatikan, mempedulikan, dan mau mengerti dia. Astaghfirullah. Bucin banget aku. Hahaha. Tapi aku yakin sis, nanti dia kalau ketemu orang yang dia suka dan cinta, dia pasti bisa jadi imam yang baik."

"Ya Allah bucin level maksimal ini mah. Hahaha."

"Tenang aja sis, aku ga bakal maksa dia buat suka sama aku kok. Yang penting dia bahagia. Hehe."

"Aduh sis, itu definisi mencintai dengan tulus, ga maksa dia untuk mencintai kita balik."

Aku chat temen deket orang yang bikin aku bucin.

"Sis, aku udah ganti nama kontak dia di hp. Hehe."

"Wah, jadi apa sis?"

"Bukan His Story lagi, jadi nama dia aja, hahaha."

"Fix move on ya?"

"Aamiin. Lagi diusahakan, hehe. Aku ga mau nyesel nantinya, sis. Karena sekarang ada yang ingin bikin aku bahagia."

"Alhamdulillah. Aku setuju sis. Cinta akan datang karena terbiasa. Walau kamu sekarang belum ada rasa sama dia, nanti pasti akan dengan sendirinya rasa itu muncul."

"Aamiin. Semoga ini yang tepat dan terbaik buat aku ya."

"Makan dimana sis?" Aku menelpon temen deket orang yang bikin aku bucin yang sekarang udah jadi temen deketku juga. Hehe. Akhirnya nambah temen dikantor.

"Bingung nih, sis. Aku sebenernya lagi diet, haha. Eh tapi temenku ngajak ke ITC, mau beli sesuatu."

"Ya udah ke ITC aja yuk."

"Yuk, nanti berkabar ya."

Kemudian ketika mau siap2 berangkat, temenku itu chat.

"Sis, dia mau ikut. Ga apa2?"

"Hah? Ya udah. Kok tumben?"

"Ga tau tuh."

"Baiklah."

Kemudian pergi berempat. Bukankah harusnya aku senang bisa makan bareng dia? Tapi bukan itu tujuan aku. Aku ga mau menaruh harapan lagi, dia tetiba ikut bukan karena aku, karena mereka temen2 dia, dia cuma mau berteman sama aku, mau menganggap aku sama kaya temen2 dia yang lain, aku ga boleh berhalusinasi.

Dalam hati sebenernya masih agak canggung kalau ngobrol atau bercanda sama dia, tapi aku bukan anak kecil lagi, aku harus memikirkan perasaan dia, perasaan temen2nya, dan perasaan aku sendiri. Aku ga boleh merusak semuanya. Aku harus menyelesaikan apa yang telah aku mulai. Perasaan ini... Aku akan menghilangkannya...

Setelah pulang makan siang. Aku chat temenku.

"Sis, untung dia ikut ya tadi. Makasih ya, sis. Aku jadi bisa melatih hati aku buat move on dari dia. Hahaha."

"Waduh, jadi beneran udah merasa biasa aja?"

"Belum sih, tapi lumayan lah dibanding dulu, mau ngomong aja susah banget. Tapi menurut kamu gimana? Tadi sikap aku ke dia gimana?"

"Masih kaku, belum natural, hahaha."

"Yah, susah banget sih. Hahaha. Maklum yah 2 tahun sih sukanya."

"Iya, pelan2 aja, sis. Nanti juga biasa kok."

"Semoga yah."

*Lebih indah dicintai daripada mencintai. Benarkah? Selama ini aku selalu mencintai tanpa dicintai balik oleh mereka yang aku pilih, tapi kali ini mungkin aku bisa mencintai orang yang mencintai aku. Walau rasa itu belum ada, walau hati ini masih tertuju pada yang lain, tapi jika dia yang terbaik untukku, Allah pasti akan memudahkan kan?

Waktu terus berjalan, aku sudah tidak sekuat dulu, pikirku. Banyak hal yang dipikirkan, dirasakan, dan dipertimbangkan. Beranjak dari kasur empuk yang posesif tidak ingin melepaskan kenyamanannya. Berdiri di depan cermin selama 5 menit. Sudah berapa tahun aku hidup di dunia ini? Rekaman memori selama hidup terputar dalam benak. Tanpa sadar menghela nafas panjang dan dalam. Sekarang mau apa? Apa yang belum dilakukan? Kenapa akhir-akhir ini hari yang dilalui terasa berat? Kurang bersyukurkah diri ini?

Setelah sekian lama menahan fisik yang mulai melemah, akhirnya tepar juga. Dokter yang menjadi perantara untuk kesembuhan diri ini, angkat tangan.

"Kamu bukan butuh obat kaya gini, tapi yang lain." Ujarnya.

"Mohon maaf nih Dok, jangan main tebak2an bisa ga?", ujarku dalam hati.

"Jadi gimana, Bu? Ini mah sakit perasaan." Ujarnya ke mamahku.

Yaelah, sotoy dah ini dokter. I'm OK. Kalo kata Hanbin, "I'm OK. Wilohaji ma dongjeonghaji ma. Gyeote isseo jul pilyo eobseo. Gwaenchanheunikka."

Terpaksa pulang dari rumah sakit karena udah ga betah terlalu mandiri, sakit tapi apa-apa sendiri, suka sedih aja, tapi bilang sama orang tua ga usah nemenin, ga apa-apa kan ada suster, bahkan temen sekamarpun ga ada, aku ga apa-apa, aku biasa sendiri. Jadi baper 😅

"Kamu kenapa ga mau nikah sih?" Tetiba mamah nanya lagi pertanyaan yang paling dibenci.

"Udah tau jawabannya kan? Kenapa masih tanya? Aku ga mau ngejelasin lagi, capek."

"Udah sih ga usah kebanyakan milih, dia yang imannya bagus kata kamu tapi emang mau sama kamu? Engga kan? Kamu bilang sendiri dia masih punya banyak keinginan yang mau dia capai, beda sama kamu, kamu udah cukup, bagi mamah, tinggal ini keinginan mamah dari kamu mumpung papah mamah masih ada."

Ya Allah, tetiba baper, pusing hamba.

"Waktu itu ada 3 orang yang mau taaruf mamah tolak kan? Terus ada 2 yang siap ngelamar mamah tolak juga kan? Terus aku kudu gimana?"

"Tapi kamunya juga ragu-ragu sih." Ngebela diri.

Ya Allah, salah lagi aja.

"Ya udah, yang kemarin 2 itu mau langsung lamar kemana? Sama salah satu dari mereka aja deh udah, daripada kamu nungguin yang ga pasti."

Ya Allah, siapa juga yang nungguin siapa. Salah mulu aja. Yang mau nikah siapa sebenernya? 😑

Malamnya, chat temen deket si dia yang bikin bucin.

"Sis, dia ga mungkin akan ada perasaan sama aku kan ya?"

"Kayanya sih engga sis, kamu kan tau dia orangnya gimana." Jawabnya.

"Iya sih, aku tau, tapi barangkali dia khilaf, hahaha..."

"Ga sis, menurutku dia ga akan ada rasa kok sama kamu. Emang kenapa? Kamu mau menjalani hubungan dengan yang lain ya?"

"Baiklah kalau gitu, hehe... Belum tau sih, tapi mau coba buka hati untuk yang lain, abisnya aku bucin banget sama temen kamu itu, hahaha..."

"Iya sis, kamu jangan sama temen aku itu. Aku doain yang terbaik buat kamu aja, sis. Tapi bukan sama temenku ini, dia gitu sih orangnya, hahaha..."

Ketemu sahabatku itu.

"Dari semua cerita dia, aku tangkap kejujuran dia dan kesiapan dia buat ngelamar kamu neng, tapi malah kamu tolak. Terus adiknya masuk SMA gitu, jadi biaya yang tadinya buat ngelamar kamu kepake, akhirnya dia mulai menghilang dari kamu buat ngumpulin lagi biaya nikah sama kamu."

"Beneran? Tapi udah belasan tahun ga ketemu kan? Masa iya masih suka sama aku?"

"Kamu tanya sendiri deh. Dia serius kok sama kamu. Ya dibanding kamu terus-terusan bucin sama anak kecil."

"Dia bukan anak kecil, neng. Cuma dia masih pengen bebas. Wajar kan usianya masih segitu, banyak hal yang ingin dia lakukan dan capai dulu."

"Tuh gini nih, bucin. Udah sih, dicintai lebih baik daripada mencintai. Jangan sampe nyesel nantinya, neng. Buka hati kamu buat E."

**Jadi, haruskah aku menerima E walau rasa itu belum muncul? Mungkinkah sebenarnya dia yang dipersiapkan Tuhan untukku?

"Kamu kerja? Aku jemput ya." Jarum jam menunjukkan pukul 16:30 wib. 30 menit lagi waktunya pulang kerja. Dia tiba2 ngechat.

"Iya. Ga usah, aku ga langsung pulang soalnya."

"Mau kemana?"

"Ketemu sama temen."

"Dimana? Aku anterin deh ya."

"SMS. Ga usah, aku naik gojek aja."

"Hmm... Ya udah."

Ternyata sulit ya jika tidak ada "click", hati akan berusaha menghindar tanpa sadar.

"Hari ini kamu kerja? Aku anter ya."

Lagi2 dia masih berusaha mendekat.

"Emang kamu ga kerja?"

"Aku udah libur. Kamu berangkat jam berapa?"

"Jam 7:30. Ga usah, rumah kamu ke rumah aku kan jauh. Aku biasa berangkat sendiri kok."

"Lagi?"

"Hah? Maksudnya?"

"Menolak aku lagi? Sulit ya mau deket sama cewek. Haha..."

"Aku ga mau ngerepotin kamu. Lagian aku bisa sendiri kok."

"Aku ga mau kamu sendiri. Aku pengen mendampingi kamu."

Tidak bisa berkata. Cuma membacanya, karena tidak tahu harus membalas apa lagi. Dia menelepon berkali2, tapi tidak aku angkat. Jahat ya? Tapi bingung mau bicara apa. Takut. Takut tidak bisa menahan diri. Takut jadi marah2 ga jelas. Takut menyakiti. Tapi tanpa sadar sudah menyakitinya.

Besoknya dia posting foto mesra dengan seorang wanita. Aku hanya bisa tertawa melihatnya.

"Lebaran dimana?" Masih nongol aja ini orang.

"Serang."

"Kamu jawab chat aku singkat2 banget deh. Jangan gitu. Jangan cuek. Jangan galak."

"Ga kok, biasa aja."

"Hahaha... Aku tau kamu kenapa kaya gini. Pasti karena aku posting for sama cewe kan?"

"Hahaha...." Aku menertawakan tingkat ke-PD-annya yang tinggi.

Setelah itu, dia menghilang dan aku tidak peduli. Dia bukan "orang itu" yang dipilih-Nya. Aku tidak akan terburu2, walau sempat bahagia karena dicintai seseorang, tapi jika tidak bisa berbalik mencintainya, kewajiban yang akan dijalani nanti akan menjadi sia-sia.

Aku bukan orang yang mudah mengingat seseorang dan juga bukan orang yang mudah melupakan seseorang, tergantung prioritas dan berapa lama orang tersebut berada di kehidupanku. Hari ini seseorang dari masa sekolah muncul di hadapanku. Dia ingat betul siapa aku, tapi memori tentang dia di otakku ngeblur, aku harus mendengarkan cerita dari sahabatku tentang orang itu. Sejahat itu aku pada teman lamaku. Tapi setelahnya, aku mulai mengingat dia, walaupun aku tidak terlalu peduli sebenarnya. Jahatnya aku.

Kita sebut saja dia "E", inisial yang sama dengan sang mantan, tapi bukan orang sama loh. E tidak berubah dimataku, masih suka membully aku, dan body shaming ke aku. Itulah kenapa aku tidak mengingatnya. Aku cenderung melupakan orang2 seperti dia, orang yang tidak menghargai aku dan menerima aku apa adanya (itu yang aku pikir saat itu tentang dia).

E memastikan aku mengingat dia. Kenapa antusias sekali? Perasaanku mulai tidak enak. Entah kenapa semua cerita dia tentang masa lalu membuat aku berdebar2. "Sebenarnya apa sih yang mau dibicarakan?" tanyaku dalam hati.

E bercerita dia pernah berkelahi dengan mantanku ketika sekolah dulu. "Kalo lo tau alasannya kenapa gw bikin mantan lo sakit leher, lo pasti ngerti deh.", ujarnya. Aku mulai merasa tidak nyaman. Bukan kepedean, tapi entah kenapa feeling aku tertuju ke hal itu. Aku berusaha menyangkal apa yang ada dipikiranku.

"Gw bersyukur banget lo masih jomblo." ujarnya. "Hah?" Aku sudah menangkap sinyalmu, E. Tapi aku ingin menyangkal hal itu. Maaf. Aku berusaha menyangkalnya berkali2, tapi gagal.

"Gw suka sama lo dari dulu, tapi lo malah jadian sama dia." ujarnya. Jantung terjun bebas. "Sudah kuduga!". Kenapa feeling aku tepat banget sih? Sebel. Kesel.

"Lo masih belum bisa moveon dari dia ya? Udah 15 tahun loh, masa belum moveon juga? Gw bantu ya?". E bersikeras masuk ke dalam hatiku. "Gw udah moveon kok dari dia." ujarku. "Terus kenapa masih sendiri sampe sekarang?." tanyanya menggebu2. "Tidak semua yang kita inginkan terwujud dan dapat dimiliki." Aku mencoba mengontrol perasaanku yang sudah mulai jenuh meladeninya.

What is it?

On sunny day in October, I go to my new college with peaceful heart. I’m going to attend my first general lecture (matriculation). I don’t have a friend to accompany me. I feel sad in my silent. I’m looking around while waiting for the lift. Then I see him. He talks to his friends. His smile attract my eyes to look at him more. Suddenly I feel flowers grow in my heart. Why? I just met him.

I go to the hall to get my matriculation. I sit alone at the corner of the hall. I keep thinking, am I not friendly? Why I’m being alone? After a long wait, I get new friends. I’m not alone anymore. Thanks to them who open their heart first for me.

Actually I’m not a quite type, but I’m little shy to be in the new environment. I’m afraid of rejection, that’s why I keep myself alone so I won’t get hurt. But in the end, the loneliness makes me sad.

Back to my flowery heart. I wondering where’s that guy. I’m looking for him and I found him. He’s still with his friends. They looked close. I’m envy.

On another day, I go to national seminar in my college. Then I meet him again. He’s sweet as usual. I can’t take my eyes of him. Then I wish I’ll be on the same class with him. I want to get close to him.

My first day of my master degree lecture, I come early to the college. I have new friends, I’m very happy. Then suddenly appears a guy who familiar for me. I can’t believe it. It’s him. My wish become real.

Since then, I become close to him. Really close and makes me afraid. He’s not single. He has girlfriend and I think they’re going to go to serious relationship. I can’t ruin their relationship. Even if I like him. I’m nothing compare to his girlfriend. Sometimes I feel envy to his girlfriend, why she’s so lucky? To has a boyfriend like him, it’s fortune. He’s a good guy. I wish I can have a boyfriend like him too someday. But now what must I do is forget about my feeling for him. Keep my friendship with him well. I wonder if I can do it. But I have to. Because he’s a good guy. I don’t want to be hated by him if he knows that I like him.

Have you ever been in love then be broken because of it?

I did. Someone that I used to love, maybe he’s forget about me. But I always waiting for him. He never know or he didn’t want to know. Now he already married. I feel my heart scattered.

In this song, my wish that he’ll remember our beautiful moments together, my wish that he’ll come back for me someday, that’s only my wish, only my dream. Now I’ve to let him go with all of my heart.

Maybe we’re going to meet again in another life?

Foolish Love

A man walks briefly into my office. His arrogant face can be seen all over the place. I don’t like the way he looks at others. I don’t know who is he, but he seems didn’t care about it and just walk as it’s his own place. Then by the time my boss introduce him to us. Suddenly he throw his smile charmingly. I got a lightning on my head. How could he? I thought he’s not a good person, but maybe I’m too sensitive.

He’s going to work with us for several days. He sure did a good job of his. He’s someone who focus on his work. I’ve my attention for him that time. When I look at his work, I want to do better with my work too. I think he’s someone that I can compete with.

I forgot to mention his name. He’s Kang Jiwoon. He’s 2 years younger than me. But, there’s no matter for me. He’s someone that I have eyes on. (grinning)

One day, Jiwoon starts to talk to me. He comes to my seat.

Jiwoon : Hana-si, why this man have a wrong insurance? In this list, he should have insurance for his car, not motorcycle. But why is this motorcycle?

Hana : It’s because he switched it from motorcycle to car. Why the car hasn’t the insurance? It’s because its already passed the age for the insurance.

Jiwoon : Oh... I see.

Then he backs to his seat without saying thank you to me. I completely wrong about him. (sigh) I think he’s someone that I can’t reach.

On the other day, I take my step to get closer to him. We’re starting to talk comfortably. I found out that he’s funny. He also opens his heart slowly. We can be a good friend, I thought.

On our ways out from the office, he teases me. He’s playing around and accidentally he touches my hand. I got thrilled. My heart’s beating hard. Why is it happen? I’m trying to control my heart and leave right away.

I hate it when I start to like someone. I’ll completely become an annoying person. I’ll easily being swayed by that person appearance. I can’t control my emotion. I can’t control my face expression. I can’t look at him eyes on eyes. I’m afraid.

Kibum : Don’t you think Jiwoon match with Eunjung?

Hana : Huh? Ah, yes. I think so, Oppa.

Kibum : Jiwoon-ah, you should start to look for a girl, don’t just working like that.

Jiwoon : What’re you talking about, Hyung-nim? I’m not working. (laugh)

Kibum : I think you match with Eunjung. Why don’t you try to go out together?

Eunjung : Waahh, that’s a good idea. I also thought that Jiwoon match for me, right? (laugh)

Jiwoon : Yes. I also thought about it. (laugh)

Kibum : Why don’t you say anything Hana? Are you jealous? (laugh)

Hana : No. Of course not. I’m working right now. So, just don’t mind me.

Kibum : I see. You’re busy, right?

Eunjung : Hana-yah... It’s not like I really like Jiwoon, we’re just joking around. So don’t get mad, okay?

Hana : I told you I didn’t. (poker face)

I don’t know why I feel angry inside. Heard that things just make me want to go out. It’s not like that I like him. He’s not my type as a man.  I don’t like a man with that appearance. But sometimes I feel he’s kind to me and care about me. I don’t know. Maybe I’m just too fool thinking that he has a different feeling for me. But I don’t want to break my “soon to be a friend”-ship with him.

Because of my greed, I break my “soon to be a friend”-ship with him. He’ll finds out that I’m annoying. I feel like a fool. I lost him before I become a friend with him. I regret it. That’s why I hate it when I start to like someone. It’ll end up to lose him before I get close enough. It’s my fault. I can’t face him anymore. And what I hate the most is my feeling for him getting bigger. Why???!!!

December, 27th 2005. An old woman come into a room. There’re Hyera and Hyein there. That old woman come closer to Hyera with a blue diary on her hand. She sit beside her then give the diary to her. Hyera : Thank you, Mrs.Jung. (smile brightly) Mrs.Jung : You’re welcome, Hyera-si. But what’re you going to do with this diary? Hyera : Please read it for me, Mrs.Jung. Mrs.Jung : Now? Hyera : Yes. From the first page. Then Mrs.Jung start to read Hyera’s diary. She wrote this diary since she met Chanyeol. She wrote everything about Chanyeol. How they meet, how she start to like him, how Chanyeol confess to her, and all. She was really happy because of him. Her tears suddenly fall. Mrs.Jung : Hyera-si, are you okay? Hyera : It’s okay, Mrs.Jung. Can you help me? Mrs.Jung : Everything I can. Hyera : Thank you. (smile) Hyera ask Mrs.Jung to write everything she’s going to say on her diary. Hyera can’t write it by herself because she can’t see, so she ask Mrs.Jung help. Hyera : Mrs.Jung, please give it this diary to Park Chanyeol. Mrs.Jung : But I don’t know him, Hyera-si. Hyera : There’s his picture there, right? You can recognize him by it. You can help me, right Mrs.Jung? I can’t let my family know about it. I trust it to you, okay? Mrs.Jung : Hmm... Alright. Suddenly Jungsoo come to her room. He sees Hyera’s diary on her desk. Jungsoo feels worried. He approach to her slowly. He sit beside her then give her a tight hug. He stroke her hair gently.

Hyein : Oppa, did you know that Hyera eonnie give her heart to me? Jungsoo : (shocked) Huh? Hyein : Looking at your face, I already knew the answer. Jungsoo : How did you know? Hyein : I accidentally heard Appa talk about it to Eomma. Jungsoo : Hyein-ah... Hyein : That’s why I keep feel a deep longing to Chanyeol. Because I have Hyera eonnie’s heart. She still love him eventhough she’s not here. It’s really amazing, right? Jungsoo : Hyein-ah... Hyein : Chanyeol also can feel Hyera eonnie’s presence because I have her heart. Their love’s so deep, right? Ah, I’m so envy. Jungsoo : Hyein-ah! (hold her shoulder) Hyein : (tears fall down) Why my heart feel hurt? Jungsoo : (hug her) Hyein-ah... Do you love Chanyeol? Hyein just realized that her feeling to Chanyeol is true. Hyein keep deny it because she doesn’t want to hurt Jongsuk. They’ve been together for long. She always think that Jongsuk will become her life partner, but it has changed since Chanyeol approach in her life. Hyein can’t tell Jongsuk the truth.

Chanyeol can’t get a contact with Hyein. He feels anxious. He’s wandering around in his room. Then Lay come into his room. He told him there’s someone who’s looking for him. He guess who’s that person. Chanyeol stopped his step in front of the living room. Jongsuk stand from his seat then greet him. Chanyeol reply his greeting then sit in front of him.

Chanyeol : Whooaa~~ It’s an honor to be visited by a famous actor like Sunbae-nim. (awkward) Jongsuk : (smile) I come here not as your Sunbae, but as Lee Jongsuk. So don’t be awkward, okay? Chanyeol : Ah, yes. (shy) Jongsuk : So lets go to the point. Chanyeol : Huh? Jongsuk : I’ve known Hyein for a long time. I always protect her since then and take the responsibility to make her happy. Hyein’s a good woman. She’s really kind and think about others first. She must be hasn’t noticed it, but I’ve. She likes you, Chanyeol-si. She keep deny it because she didn’t want to hurt me. I already know it but I let her being hurted. I make everything complicated for her. I make her confused. I’m not good for her. So what I want to say is... will you take a good care of her? Chanyeol : Sunbae-nim... Jongsuk : I trust her to you, Chanyeol-si.

Jongsuk leave the dorm. Chanyeol feels sorry to him. But there’s no time for him to stay like that. Chanyeol go to Hyein’s house immediately.

Haejin opens the door. A young man stand in front of him. He knows this man well. He let him come into his house.

Haejin : You want to meet me or Jungsoo? Chanyeol : I want to meet Hyein. Haejin : Hyein just went. Chanyeol : Where? Haejin : Chanyeol-ah... I’m sorry, but I think you can’t see her anymore. Chanyeol : What do you mean, hyung? Haejin : (sad) How should I tell you this? (cries) Chanyeol : Hyung, what happened to Hyein? Where’s she? Haejin : (keep crying) Chanyeol : (grab his shoulder) Hyung, tell me! Jungsoo : Ya! Can’t you lower your voice?! Haejin : (laugh loudly) My act’s so awesome. You’re going to cry, right? (tease Chanyeol) Jungsoo : Hyung, how can you joking around at the time like this? Haejin : I’m sorry, but I can’t help by looking his serious face. (laugh) Chanyeol : (confused) What’s this all about? Jungsoo : He joked to you. Haejin : I’m sorry, Chanyeol-ah. (puppy eyes) Chanyeol : So Hyein’s alright, right? Haejin : Yes. (smile) Chanyeol : (sigh) Glad to hear that. Jungsoo : Hyein’s in her room. You can go there. Chanyeol : Thank you, hyung. Jungsoo : Ehmm, Yeol-ah. Chanyeol : Yes, hyung? Jungsoo : I’m sorry about yesterday. I didn’t mean to punch you. Chanyeol : It’s okay, hyung. I know how you feel. (smile)

Then Chanyeol climb up the stairs then walk toward Hyein’s room. He knock the door. Hyein’s voice let him in. He walk into her room carefully. Hyein gets surprised. She gets up from her bed right away.

Chanyeol : Can I go there? Hyein : Ye... yes...

Chanyeol walk closer to her. He sit on her bed, so Hyein does. They’re in silent for a moment.

Chanyeol : Hyein-si... I’m sorry about yesterday, but I didn’t lie to you about my feeling. Hyein : I know. I’m the one who should say sorry. Because of me, you lost Hyera eonnie. Chanyeol : You’re right. I lost her, but she still remind in my memory. Hyein : She loved you so much, how about you? Chanyeol : Eventhough she lied about being you, I can’t deny that I loved her. But who I love now is you, Hyein-si. Because of you, I fall in love with Hyera, and because of you too, I fall in love with you. I sincerely love you, Hyein-si.

Hyein take a silver moon necklace from the drawer.

Hyein : I give it back to you. It’s belong to you and Hyera eonnie. I can’t take it. Chanyeol : Hyein-si.... Hyein : I’ve been thinking all of this time. I keep wondering where will my heart go. And now I know the answer. I won’t hold it back anymore. I’m not going to deny it anymore. My heart’s going to you, Chanyeol-si. Because of Hyera eonnie, I realize that I love you. Chanyeol can’t hold his feeling anymore. He hugs her tightly. He won’t let her go from his arms. Hyein feels relieved. She can feel Chanyeol’s love in her whole body. She doesn’t want to let his arms go.

Hyein feels nervous. Her debut as singer still far, but her Sunbae, Dara, asked her to join her in her collaboration project. She remember the last time she go to the stage with her Sunbae, Park Bom. The day she lost her chance to go to debut sooner. When a big incident occured and make her become a target of the anger fans. It’s because of Chanyeol. And now she become Chanyeol’s girlfriend. She’s worried what will happen to her if the fans find out about it. Suddenly someone hold her hand tightly. Hyein look at the man who’s standing beside her. He smiles brightly to her.

Chanyeol : I’ll by your side, Hyein-ah. Don’t worry, okay?

It looks like he know what’s on her mind. Hyein smiles to him.

Dara : Ehem... I’m sorry to disturb your romance, but we’ll perform after this. Chanyeol : (laugh) We know, noona. Lets go!

They go to the stage. Dara stand in the middle, Chanyeol on her left and Hyera on her right. Hyein plays the violin while Dara and Chanyeol sing together. They performance make everyone amazed. They give their best until the end of song.

Park Bogum : Okay, now we already at the end of the show. Irene : So, it’s time to reveal the winner of this weekend. Park Bogum : Lets see the nominates. Irene : All of them are so good. But we have to choose the best one. So who’s the winner? Park Bogum & Irene : The winner is........ 3Park! Sandara, Chanyeol, and Hyein! Congratulation!

Hyein, Dara, and Chanyeol get surprised. They become the winner. They can’t believe it.

Dara : Thank you so much everyone. I can’t believe that we win this trophy. It’s all thanks to you for supporting us. We love you! (wink) Chanyeol : I’m really thankful to receive this winning. I can’t win it if there’s no Dara sunbae-nim and Hyein. Thank you for letting me join this awesome collaboration. Then also to everyone who support us, thank you so much. Please keep support us! Hyein shake her head. She still can’t let her nervous go. Eventhough she forget about it when she start plays the song.

Chanyeol : I have a good news that I want to share with everyone. Irene : Wow! What’s it? Park Bogum : We’re become curious. Right, everyone? Fans : Yes!!!!

Hyein looking at Chanyeol intently. He smiles to her. Hyein gets worried suddenly. He’s not going to reveal it to everyone, right? Hyein hold Chanyeol’s hand right away. She wants to stop him, but Chanyeol pull her close to him.

Chanyeol : Why? (smile) Everyone looking at them. Hyein eyes getting bigger. She’s blushing. Chanyeol give a flash kiss on her lips. Fans screaming loudly. Chanyeol laugh then take Hyein go down from the stage. Dara and the other artists watching them go.

Irene : That’s so unbelievable! Park Bogum : We’re speechless. But congratulation for Chanyeol that now he’s not available anymore. (laugh) Irene : Yes! Lets pray and wish the best for them. April, 22nd 2015. On the way to the hospital, Mapo-gu.

Hyein opens her eyes slowly. She’s looking around, she’s in the car. Then she sees Jongsuk who’s driving beside her.

Hyein : Jongsuk-ah... Jongsuk : Oh, Hyein-ah, have you wake up? Hyein : Yes. Where’re we going? Jongsuk : Hospital. I think you need to check your body. Hyein : I don’t need to go there, Jongsuk-ah. Jongsuk : Why? Your face look so pale and I’m worried about your heart. You keep touching your chest recently. Hyein : I’m okay. I want to eat now. Jongsuk : Huh? Hyein : I’m hungry. (her big eyes sparkling cutely while her hand touching her stomach) Jongsuk : (messing her hair) I understand. Lets eat delicious food! (smile widely)

Jongsuk takes Hyein to the restaurant then. They come into the restaurant then sit facing each other. Hyein start to order the food. She look really hungry.

Jongsuk : Hyein-ah, are you really okay? Hyein : Huh? Jongsuk : At the grave before. Hyein : Ah, that’s... I don’t know how should I react to that thing. (forced laugh) Jongsuk : Then what’re you going to do with him? Hyein : I don’t know. But I come to realize something now. Jongsuk : What’s that? Hyein : I always wondering why I always feel sorry and sad toward him all of this time. Also why I always feel some connection and a deep longing with him. Now I know why. Jongsuk : Why? Hyein’s eyes getting bigger. Her heart racing rapidly. She take the box then open it carefully. A golden iris shape ring inside.

Hyein : Jongsuk-ah... It’s... Jongsuk : It’s your birthday gift. Do you like it? Hyein : I... I like it. Thank you, Jongsuk-ah.

It’s birthday gift. It’s not engagement ring. Hyein remember Hyeonhwa told her that Jongsuk was going to propose her, but... not today? Or he change his mind? It seems that Hyein hope Jongsuk will propose her after come back from Sydney. Hyein’s weird. She likes when Chanyeol come closer to her, but she also can’t let Jongsuk go. She still can’t understand her own feeling.

Hyein’s going to make a collaboration with Dara, her sunbaenim. Then Dara invited her to 2Ne1’s Studio in order to practice together. Hyein finally arrive at the studio. She comes into the building casually. A beautiful women welcoming her nicely.

Dara : Welcome, Hyein-ah. (hug her immediately) Hyein : Thank you, eonnie. Here’s for you. (give a box of cake) Dara : Whooaa~~ You’re so nice. Thank you, Hyein-ah. Lets go to the practice room.

Dara take her to the practice room right away.

Dara : Hyein-ah, actually I invite one more person to do this collaboration, are you okay with that? Hyein : I’m okay.

Then a young man comes into the room with his long legs. Hyein can’t take her eyes of him as soon as he comes. Her heart beats rapidly.

Dara : Do you know Chanyeol, right? Hyein : Ye... Yes. Dara : (laugh secretly) I hope both of you can do a good work together.

It’s bad for Hyein. She keep avoiding him since the incident at the Hyera’s grave before. Hyein doesn’t want to meet him. She feel betrayed. Evidently, Chanyeol come close to her because she look alike Hyera. Because Chanyeol was Hyera’s boyfriend. So his feeling for her isn’t real. It’s because he still love Hyera. That’s why he take a good care of Hyein, because Hyera’s face is in Hyein’s. It’s what Hyein think about Chanyeol, so she doesn’t want to see him.

Dara : So, Chanyeol, Hyein wrote this song for us. She will play violin while we’re singing and you can add some rap in the middle. How’s it? Chanyeol : It’s good. I’ve listen the melody and it’s really awesome. As expected from the professional song-writer. Hyein : Tha... Thank you. Dara : (laugh) Why’re you so nervous, Hyein-ah? Is it because Chanyeol? (teasing her) Hyein : No. I just feel not really well today. Dara : Really? Are you sick? Why didn’t you tell me? We can change the schedule. Hyein : It’s okay, eonnie. I still can practice. (smile widely) Dara : Is it? Okay then. Lets continue.

They’re start to practicing. Hyein’s playing her part diligently. Chanyeol keep looking at her secretly. Then after several hours they practice, they end it for today. Dara come out from the room, she’s going to take the food for them. Hyein and Chanyeol sit quite far. Then Chanyeol suddenly come closer to her and sit beside her.

Chanyeol : Are you really okay? (worried) Hyein : Yes. I’m okay. Chanyeol : I saw your face become red. Do you have a fever? (putting his hand on her forehead) Hyein : (blushing) I’m okay. (take his hand off) Chanyeol : Why’re you like this, Hyein-si? Hyein : Huh? Chanyeol : Are you angry with me? Did I do something wrong? I keep texting you, but you don’t give any respond until now. Last week we met at the SM Coex Atrium. I walk closer to you, but you pretend that you didn’t see me and go to the other side. Yesterday, when I came to Super Junior’s dorm, you’re there but you didn’t talk to me at all. And today we practice together, but you look like stranger. I thought we’re getting closer. Hyein : I’m sorry, Chanyeol-si. I’m not in my right mind. Chanyeol : What’s wrong, Hyein-si? Did something happen to you? Hyein : Yes. Something happened. I don’t understand what my heart feel. (take her necklace and give it to him) Chanyeol : What’s it? Hyein : I give it back to you. It’s yours, right? Chanyeol : (his eyes shaking) Hyein-si... Dara back to the room. The atmosphere become awkward. She look at them in silent.

Then they’re eating like there’s nothing happened.

Chanyeol sitting on his bed while looking at the necklace on his hand. He takes a deep breath. He realize that he was wrong because he didn’t tell Hyein the truth sooner. Now, he doesn’t know what to do to make Hyein forgive him. Baekhyun comes into his room hurriedly.

Baekhyun : Yeol-ah, Leeteuk hyung looking for you. Chanyeol : Huh? Okay.

Chanyeol comes out from his room then approach to Jungsoo who’s waiting for him. Chanyeol greets him then sit in front of him.

Chanyeol : Hello, Hyung. What I can help you? Jungsoo : Why did you come to Hyein? Chanyeol : Pardon? Jungsoo : What’s the real reason you get close to Hyein? Chanyeol : Did something happen, hyung? Jungsoo : I ask you nicely, why didn’t you answer it? Chanyeol : Because I like her. That’s why I came closer to her. Jungsoo : Then explain what’s it about! (give a blue diary book to him)

Chanyeol opens the diary and look every pages of it. His eyes getting teary. He sees his first and last picture with Hyera. They took the picture on the day he confessed his feeling to her.

Jungsoo : So why did you come to Hyein? Because she look like Hyera? Chanyeol : That’s not it, hyung. Jungsoo : When Hyera died, where were you? You even didn’t come to visit her until she passed away. I won’t let Hyein get close to a man who abandon his lover like you. Chanyeol : I didn’t abandon her, hyung. I came to see her everyday, but she didn’t want to see me. I’m not lie, hyung. I was really worried about her. Also she became like that because of me. Because she saved me. Jungsoo : What? Chanyeol : She got into accident because she tried to safe me.

Jungsoo surprised. He didn’t know that story. He stand up from his seat then punch Chanyeol’s face. EXO members come out from their room then approach to them. Suho calming Jungsoo.

Jungsoo : You! I never know that you’re a b**tard! Suho : Hyung, calm down. Jungsoo : I won’t let you see Hyein anymore.

Jungsoo take his anger then leave EXO’s dorm. Chanyeol back to his room with teary eyes. He’s not hurt because Jungsoo’s punch, but Hyein. He must be have hurted Hyein without his knowing.  Chanyeol opens Hyera’s diary again then start to read it from the first page. Chanyeol flip the last page. Suddenly he’s crying heavily.

Hyein walks into the cinema. She approach to a handsome tall man who has waiting for her.

Hyein : I’m not late, right? (grinning) Jongsuk : No. But I’m start to feel sleepy. Hyein : (frowning) I go back then. Jongsuk : (laugh then pinch her cheeks) Lets go in!

Hyein and Jongsuk are close as usual. Eventhough Hyein still confused with her feeling, she doesn’t want to ruin her good relationship with Jongsuk. Hyein comes out from the cinema while Jongsuk following her behind. Hyein stopped her step. Her face turn out to blue. Jongsuk walk closer to her then following her eyes. Chanyeol stands in front of them. Chanyeol takes his step close to them slowly. Then he facing Hyein. He takes out something from his pocket, then grab Hyein’s hand. He give it to her.

Chanyeol : It’s yours, because you keep it for a long time.

Hyein look at the silver moon necklace on her hand. Then she look at Chanyeol’s eyes deeply.

Chanyeol : When I first saw you at the airport before the SMTown Concert in Taiwan, I thought who’s she? Why her presence attract me so much? Then I know that you’re Leeteuk hyung’s sister. I still didn’t know that you’re Hyera’s twin. That’s why I got surprised that your face’s similar to her. Then when you cried on Hyera’s grave, I’m shocked. I wonder why there’s someone who has similar face to her, so you’re Hyera’s twin. First, I thought that I have feeling for you because you look alike her, but I don’t think so. I fall in love with you because you’re Hyein.

Chanyeol take out Hyera’s diary from his pocket. He gives it to Hyein.

Hyein opens the diary. Her twin’s name on it. Hyein open the last page.

Jongsuk sees Chanyeol hug Hyein. His heart feels hurt right away. He takes his step away from that place. Jongsuk goes into his car, then suddenly his handphone ringing.

Hyein : Where are you? I’m at the park. Jongsuk : Ah, I’m sorry, Hyein-ah. I think I can’t meet you today. Hyein : Why? I’ve been waiting for you, Jongsuk-ah. Jongsuk : I’m sorry. Suddenly the manager said that we’re going to go company’s dinner. Hyein : Oh... I see. Jongsuk : I’m sorry. You’re not angry, right? Hyein : Yes. (lies) Jongsuk : Thank you, Hyein-ah. I’ll call you later.

Jongsuk hangs up. He feels sorry to Hyein but he doesn’t want to meet her right now because his heart’s in pain. Then Jongsuk drives his car away from the park.

April, 21st 2009. Hyein takes Jongsuk’s hand and walking around seeing the beautiful building. Hyein looks really happy. Hyein : It’s beautiful, right? I told you to come here at night. (smile brightly) Jongsuk : Not that beautiful. Hyein : You don’t have sense. (frowning) Then Hyein walking in front of him. She’s really excited. She takes many pictures there. Jongsuk just following her from behind. Then Hyein turn her back and facing Jongsuk with angry face. Hyein : You’re a bad boy. Letting me walking alone like that. (frowning) Jongsuk : What do you want me to do then? Hyein : (holding Jongsuk’s hand) Like this. (grinning) Don’t let my hand go, understand? Jongsuk : (messing her hair) Don’t joking around! Hyein holding his hand tightly. Jongsuk can’t refuse her. They walk together happily.

Hyein sitting in the cafetaria. She’s waiting for his older brother to pick her up. She takes a ship of her coffee while looking at her handphone. There’s a new follower on her instagram, she check it right away. Someone that she knew following her on instagram. Suddenly she remember what happened yesterday.

Hyein : Is he really serious? He even tracking me now.

Hyein still can’t believe that Chanyeol confess his feeling to her. Hyein think maybe Chanyeol confused because they keep meeting accidentally, so he thought that it’s fate. Hyein hasn’t confirm her own feeling toward him. Hyein not dislike him but there’s something that make her heart feels weird everytime she near him. It likes she has been missing him all the time. He likes someone that she love in the past. Hyein doesn’t understand about her feeling. That’s why she hasn’t answered his feeling.

While Hyein busy talking with her mind, a young women approach to her quietly. She sit in front of Hyein and looking at her with bright smile. Hyein gets surprised.

Hyein : Eonnie! I got surprised by you. (frowning) Hyeonhwa : (laugh) I guess you had a beautiful day yesterday. (grinning) Hyein : What... What do you mean, eonnie? (get shocked, did Hyeonhwa know that Chanyeol confessed to her yesterday?)   Hyeonhwa : (take Hyein’s right hand) Why don’t you wear the ring? Hyein : A ring? Why? Hyeonhwa : (confused) Didn’t you meet Jongsuk yesterday? Hyein : I didn’t. Hyeonhwa : What did you say?! You didn’t meet him yesterday? Why? Why didn’t you meet him? Hyein : He said that he had a company’s dinner, so we didn’t meet. Hyeonhwa : What? He went to meet you right away after bought the ring with me. Hyein : Wait a moment, eonnie. What’s ring? Hyeonhwa : Your engagement ring. He’s going to propose you, Hyein-ah. Hyein : (gets thunder in her heart) Wh... What? Eonnie, where’s Jongsuk right now? (panic) Hyeonhwa : Hmm... I don’t know either. He said that he’s going to go to Sydney tonight. Call him!

Hyein’s in panic. She calls Jongsuk several time but he didn’t pick it. Hyein getting worried. Then she comes out from the building. Meanwhile Haejin just arrived and her sister passing him by. Hyein takes the taxi right away and leave Haejin. Haejin gets confused. Then Hyeonhwa approach to him.

Haejin : What’s wrong with Hyein, Hyeonhwa-ah? Hyeonhwa : She’s going to chase her love. Haejin : What? Hyeonhwa : You won’t ever know, oppa. Because you never fall in love. (take out her tounge) Haejin : Ya! You think I’m not normal?! Hyeonhwa : I never said that. I said you never fall in love. Haejin : I did! Hyeonhwa : Really? When? With who? Haejin : You! (sigh) I’m going home!

Haejin leaves Hyeonhwa alone. Hyeonhwa maybe didn’t get what he said before. He actually said he ever fall in love and it’s with her.

Hyein’s crying loudly in the cold night. She went to the airport but she couldn’t meet Jongsuk.

Hyein : Why did you lie to me? You came here yesterday, right? Why didn’t you come to me?

Hyein wipes her tears. She’s really sad. Then she once again remember what happened yesterday.

Hyein : Did Jongsuk see me with Chanyeol? That’s why he left? Did I hurt him? What should I do? (desperate)

Then suddenly a young man come closer to her.

Chanyeol : What’re you doing at this hour here, Hyein-si? Hyein : Chanyeol-si! (surprised) Chanyeol : (looking at her intently) Are you crying? Hyein : No. The dust come into my eyes. Chanyeol : You’re a bad liar. (sit beside her) Let me see. (touch her face)

He look at her closely. He wipes her tears with his hand. Hyein cheeks getting hot and become red. She’s nervous. Chanyeol smile looking at her that way.

Chanyeol : You’re so cute.

Hyein takes a distance from him. Chanyeol laugh.

Chanyeol : (grab her shoulder and pull her closer to him) It’s better. (smile widely)

Hyein can’t say anything. She’s too shy. She can’t look at him in the eyes.

Chanyeol : Can’t we get closer? I’ve confessed my feeling too. Aren’t you too cruel if you keep looking away from me? Hyein : (feels a little guilty) I’m sorry, Chanyeol-si. Chanyeol : I don’t need your apologize. I just want to get close to you, can’t I? Hyein : Of course you can. Chanyeol : Then lets get closer from now. I’ll go slowly too. You know what I mean, right? Hyein : Yes. Chanyeol : At least you know that I have a good feeling about you. (smile) Hyein : Thank you.

Then they’re getting closer slowly. Hyein feels better now. Her sadness before has gone after talking with Chanyeol. He brings her spirit back. Hyein’s really glad that Chanyeol take care of her well.

Today is Hyein’s birthday. She gets many birthday wishes and gifts from her family and friends. She also gets a bouquet of white rose from Chanyeol in the early morning. But Hyein’s still sad because there’s no word from Jongsuk until this late of night. Hyein sitting near the window in her room. She look at the sky with teary eyes.

Hyein : My birthday will end soon and you haven’t congratulated me yet. How bad you’re, Jongsuk-ah!

Hyein’s angry. She’s grumbling. Hyein can’t believe that Jongsuk didn’t say anything to her since that day. He left without her known and until today there’s no news from him. Even his family can’t reach him out. While Hyein thinking about Jongsuk, her handphone suddenly ringing. Hyein look at the screen. Chanyeol’s name appear on the screen. Hyein take the call right away.

Hyein : Yes, Chanyeol-si. Chanyeol : I’m in front of your house. Hyein : What? Chanyeol : Please come out for a minute. Hyein : Yes.

Hyein come out from her house then approach to him. Chanyeol take something from the car. He’s holding a birthday cake for Hyein.

Chanyeol : Happy Birthday, Hyein-si. (smile brightly) Hyein : Thank you, Chanyeol-si. (smile widely)

Then they’re sitting in the car.

Hyein : I get another surprise from you. Thank you so much, Chanyeol-si. Chanyeol : But... there’s one more left. Hyein : What’s it?

Chanyeol take a paper flower bag from the backseat then give it to Hyein. Hyein open the bag and take a red little box out. She look at Chanyeol with  confusion then she open the box. A golden heart necklace catch her eyes. Hyein speechless. Then Chanyeol take the necklace and put it on her neck.

Chanyeol : Pretty. It’s really good on you. (smile) Hyein : Ch... Chanyeol-si... It’s... Chanyeol : It’s my heart to you. Will you accept it? Hyein : Chanyeol-si... I... Chanyeol : I know. But I’ve been thinking about it all the time. I said I’ll go slowly but I don’t want to see you being sad anymore. I’ll make you happy, Hyein-ah. Give me a chance.

Hyein can’t say anything. She look at Chanyeol’s eyes. He seems sincere with his words.

Hyein : Thank you, Chanyeol-si. You’re always kind to me, I’m really greatfull. But... I don’t want to think about it now. I’m sorry. (Let off the necklace and give it to Chanyeol) However, thank you for the surprise. (smile) I’m going then. Have a safe drive.

Hyein come out from Chanyeol’s car. She’s going back to her house. Chanyeol just watching her leave. His face turn out to blue. He feels sad, but he can’t do anything. It’s not easy to catch Hyein’s heart.

In other hand, there’s someone who watching them from the beginning from afar. That man turn on the car engine then leave that place.

A handsome tall man walking toward the cemetery. He’s holding a bouquet of roses on his hand. Then he stopped in front of Hyera’s grave. He put the flowers on the grave.

Chanyeol : I’ve met a women that I love after you. Her name’s Park Hyein. You know who is she, right? Yes, she’s your twin sister.

While Chanyeol talking to Hyera’s grave, a young women with her straight black hair appears. She’s shocked when seeing Chanyeol there. She’s about to approach him, but then she stopped her step.

Chanyeol : At first time, I thought she’s you. I keep wondering, are you still alive? Then I came here and saw your grave. I realize that she’s not you. But I keep met her and my heart beats so fast everytime I see her. I wonder why I have that feeling.

Hyein start to feel the pain in her heart. She touch her chest and feel her heart beat. Her heart beats so fast, it makes her hurt. Hyein can’t control her body. Her legs lost its strength. She’s going to collapse but then a man appears and hold her body. Hyein look at that man. Her eyes getting teary, then she faint in his arm.

Hyein : (frowning) Hyera : (walk closer to her twin) I’m going to meet a handsome boy. (whispering) Hyein : Really? I want to meet him too. Hyera : You can’t. Hyein : Why? Hyera feels sorry to her twin because she’s going to meet Chanyeol today. She hasn’t told Hyein that she dated Chanyeol. She can’t tell her. She doesn’t want to tell her. Hyera wants to keep Chanyeol at her side. Hyera has been envy with Hyein since they’re born. Hyein always get the most attention from their family. Because she’s sick, so everyone loves her more. Evanescent (chapter 5)

April, 5th 2015. Sangam-dong, SBS Building. SBS Inkigayo. EXO’s Waiting Room.

Chanyeol opens his eyes. There’re Baekhyun and Suho in front of him. He gets up and sit on the couch. They’re looking at him intently.

Chanyeol : Why? Baekhyun : (spank his head) Were you on the right mind?! Chanyeol : (confused) Did I do wrong? Baekhyun : Not only wrong but totally WRONG! Suho : Yeol, do you remember what just happened? Chanyeol : (thinking)

He hurted his ankle while dancing. He felt dizzy from the pain. He finished his performance well and back to the backstage. He met Hyein on his way. He thought Hyein is Hyera then unconsciously he hugged and kissed her in front of others.

Chanyeol : (shocked) Did I really do that? Baekhyun : Yes. You’re crazy, Yeol! Fortunately media didn’t notice it because you fainted right away. Chanyeol : Then where’s Hyein? Baekhyun : I don’t know. She must be already left.

Chanyeol stands up, he’s going to look for Hyein. He runs quickly toward Bom’s waiting room. Chanyeol opens the door then come into the room anxiously. Everyone looking at him with confusion. Bom approach to him.

Bom : Are you looking for Hyein? Chanyeol : Yes. Where’s she, noona? Bom : She just left. Chanyeol : I see. Thank you, noona.

Chanyeol going to leave the room but Bom block him.

Chanyeol : Why? Bom : Do you love Hyein? Chanyeol : What do you mean, noona? Bom : Hyein’s a good woman. Don’t hurt her, Yeol. Chanyeol : I know, noona. That’s why I’m going to chase her.

Then Chanyeol go to look for Hyein. He runs quickly toward the entrance. His eyes keep looking around the building. He arrived at the lobby and see Hyein just get in the car. He runs toward her immediately but the car already left. Chanyeol take a deep breath and just looking the car go away.

Hyein walking toward CEO’s room with uneasy feeling. She come into the room and sit in front of the CEO.

CEO : Lets postpone your debut.

Hyein in her silent. She know this would be happen after what just happened between her and Chanyeol.

CEO : How can you make a big mistake like that, Hyein-ah? Hyein : I’m sorry, Sajang-nim. CEO : I count on you but what just you did? Hyein : Sorry, Sajang-nim. CEO : I know this’s not fully your mistake, but you also have to take the responsibility. Hyein : Yes, Sajang-nim. CEO : You can go now. Hyein : Thank you, Sajang-nim.

Hyein come out from CEO’s room with teary eyes. She walks toward the practice room. Hyein sit on the chair looking at recording box. Her tears keep falling. Then Hyeonhwa approach to her.

Hyein : Eonnie, you’re here? Hyeonhwa : Yes. I saw you go in here. Hyein : I see. Hyeonhwa : (wipe Hyein’s tears) It’s hard, right? Hyein : Yes. Hyeonhwa : But I believe you can overcome it, Hyein-ah. Hyein : Thank you, Eonnie.

It has been a week after the incident that Chanyeol kissed Hyein in front of people. They thought media didn’t notice it then let it go as it never happened. But two days ago, the news appears everywhere. Reporters came to her house everyday and keep waiting for her in front of her house. Her family already gave the statement but the reporters insisted to meet her. Hyein didn’t want to give any statement because of Chanyeol hasn’t talk about it to media. Because Chanyeol who did that so he should talk first then Hyein will speak up. Actually Hyein also curious why Chanyeol did that to her, does he like her? Chanyeol sit on the sofa in front of the television. He’s watching the entertainment news. He keep biting his thumb. News about him and Hyein appears on the show. Chanyeol’s handphone ringing. He take it and look at the name on the screen. His manager calls. He take the call.

Manager : You’re at the dorm, right? Chanyeol : Yes. Manager : Stay in the dorm until everything settle. You can’t go out, understand? Chanyeol :  Yes.

Then their conversation end. The news getting bigger but he hasn’t make any statement yet. The agency doesn’t allow him to speak now. He suddenly worried about Hyein. How’s she after hearing the news? Chanyeol really worried. He wants to meet her, but he can’t. Chanyeol feels guilty. After a long thinking, he take his jacket and hat. He secretly come out from the dorm and going to look for Hyein.

Hyein come into her house with soulless step. She’s really sad right now. She need her family. Then she’s going to her parents’ room, but accidentally heard her parents talking about Hyera.

Mrs.Park : I didn’t know that you did that teribble thing, Yeobo! (crying) Mr.Park : I didn’t have another option. Mrs.Park : She can live. (crying loudly) Mr.Park : If I didn’t do that then Hyein will died. You don’t understand how hard it’s to make that decision. Mrs.Park : But by giving Hyera’s heart to Hyein’s so teribble, Yeobo.

Tears falling down from Hyein’s beautiful eyes. She touches her heart. She can’t believe that Hyera’s heart is in her body right now. Hyein’s crying heavily. Then she runs out from the house.

He drives the car fastly to the hospital. He’s really worried something bad will happen to his daughter. Then they arrive at the hospital. Hyein being taken to the emergency room right away. Mr.Park waiting for her anxiously. After a long wait, the doctor come out from the emergency room. Mr.Park : How’s her condition? Doctor : I’m sorry, Sir. I think you should prepare for the bad news. Mr.Park : What? You’re a doctor. How can’t you save her? Doctor : Mr.Park, your daughter’s heart is really weak. From year to year it’s getting weaker. We need to do heart transplation right away but we haven’t found the right one until now. I was trying my best to save your daughter. Mr.Park : Then… What should I do? (sad) Doctor : If we can find the heart transplation before tomorrow noon, I think we can save her. Mr.Park’s stress. He didn’t know where to find the right heart for his daughter. Then he back to meet his wife. Mr.Park come into Hyera’s room who still in coma after the accident. He sit on the couch then his wife approach to him. Mrs.Park : Why, Yeobo? Mr.Park : Hyein fainted. Mrs.Park : What? Why didn’t you call me? Where’s she right now? Mr.Park : She’s in the emergency room. She’ll be here soon. Hyein move into Hyera’s room. Her bed placed beside Hyera’s. Doctor said if she conscious, she will lost her ability to walk and her eyes become blind. (cries) Haejin : Appa, is it true? Mr.Park : Yes. I don’t know what to do now. After hearing this bad news, what should we do? Mrs.Park : Yeobo… (hug her husband lovingly) Hyera crying in her sleep. She heard everything but she can’t open her eyes. Mrs.Park back home with her sons and leave Mr.Park in the hospital to watch their daughter. Mr.Park sit beside Hyera’s bed. His hand touching Hyera’s hand and patting it gently. Hyera’s hand move a little. Mr.Park surprised. He’s happy and going to call the doctor but Hyera grab his hand. Hyera : Appa… Mr.Park : Yes, dear. You’re okay now, right? I’ll call the doctor and back to here immediately. Hyera : No, appa… Mr.Park : What’s wrong Hyera-ah? Hyera : I can’t see you, appa. I open my eyes but everything’s dark. Hyein hugs Hyera’s grave. She lays down beside it. Hyein’s really sad. She never know the truth behind her twin death. It’s because of her. Hyera died because of Hyein.

Hyein : Eonnie… If I know it’s yours. I should have died before you did it. (cries)

Chanyeol’s going to look for Hyein but he end up going to Hyera’s grave instead. He miss Hyera and wants to talk to her about his problem. Chanyeol stopped in front of Hyera’s grave. He’s holding a bucket of white roses on his hand. He look at Hyein who’s crying there. He approach to her slowly.

Chanyeol : What’re you doing here, Hyein-si? Hyein : (look at her back) Ch… Chanyeol-si?

She suddenly gets up and standing in front of him with teary eyes. Chanyeol wipes her tears spontaneously. Hyein looking at him intently. Then she looks at the bouquet of white roses on his hands.

Hyein : Did you come to see someone? Chanyeol : Ah, yes. She’s there. (point the other’s grave)

He’s lying. He’s going to see Hyera but he end up meet Hyein there. His big question has been answered now. Why Hyein look alike Hyera, why Hyein wearing his necklace, he knows it now. Hyein’s Hyera’s sister. They’re twins. But Chanyeol keep this answer for himself. He bet that Hyein didn’t know anything about him and Hyera.

Hyein : My sister… she gave her heart for me. (cries)

Chanyeol shocked. Hyein walk closer to him unconsciously and laying her head on his chest.

Hyein : I never know about it. (cries) If I’m not sick, she would be still alive right now. Hiks… It’s my fault that she died.

Chanyeol feels sad. He hug Hyein tightly. She must be really hurt knowing the truth. He strokes Hyein’s hair gently. He cares her until she stop crying.

Hyein’s reading on her bed. Hyein : You’re back, eonnie. (smile brightly) Hyera : Yes. (smile widely) Hyera sit beside Hyein and give a white rose to Hyein. Hyein : Is it for me? Hyera : Yes. Hyein : Thank you, eonnie. It’s so pretty. Hyera : That’s not from me. Hyein : So? From who? Hyera : The boy that you helped. It’s from him. Hyein : Ah, Chanyeol-si. How’s he? Hyera : He looks good. Hyein wakes up. She sit on her bed and looking at the clock. 6AM. It’s too early for her to wake up remember that she doesn’t have anything to do right now because the news hasn’t stopped. She’s wondering when Chanyeol will talk to the media about them. Hyein turn on the television. She’s shocked. Chanyeol make a press conference at this hour? Hyein watching the news intently.

Chanyeol : About the news about me and Leeteuk hyung’s sister is true that we kissed.

Everyone shocked and talking loudly behind.

Chanyeol : But that’s an accident. I was holding back the pain in my ankle and my head become dizzy. Unfortunately I bumped into her and accidentally kissed her that time. So what I want to say is I don’t have any kind of relationship with her. She’s just Leeteuk hyung’s sister for me.

Hyein’s heart become hurt after hearing Chanyeol’s statement. She doesn’t understand why she’s sad. She should be happy because everything’s clear now. The news will disappear. So why she’s sad. Hyein maybe doesn’t know that she start to like Chanyeol. That’s why she’s sad when Chanyeol said that she’s just Leeteuk’s sister for him. Suddenly tears falling from her beautiful eyes.

Hyein walk casually at the park. Jongsuk said that he wants to give something to her. He said it’ll make her surprised. Hyein’s really excited waiting for him. She opens wide her arm and feels the nice breeze.

Hyein : It’s so refreshing. (smile happily)

She feels relieve after the news about her and Chanyeol disappear. Finally she can go out freely. Hyein stopped her step in front of the maple tree. She remember Chanyeol fell from there before. She’s wondering how does it feel on the tree then she climb on the tree carefully. Hyein sit on the big twig and looking at the river view from there. It’s so wonderful. She now know how Chanyeol feel on here. Hyein : It’s totally nice. Chanyeol : It would be more nice if you’re not alone. Hyein : (surprised) Chanyeol-si? Chanyeol : (smile widely) Don’t go alone. What if you fall? Who’ll safe you? Hyein : I’m not going to fall then. Chanyeol : (laugh) You don’t get it what I mean, right? Hyein : Huh? Chanyeol : (stroking her hair) You’re so cute.

Hyein’s heart start to beat randomly. She’s nervous. She tries to climb down the tree but she can’t. Then Chanyeol jump from the tree. He stand under the tree and open wide his arm.

Chanyeol : Jump! Hyein : Huh? Chanyeol : Trust me. I’ll catch you.

Hyein hesitate but then she jump into Chanyeol’s arm. Chanyeol catch her. They’re facing each other. Hyein’s heart can’t stop beating. Her eyes shaking while looking at him. Chanyeol’s hand going to her face. He touch her face gently.

Chanyeol : (whispering) I think I fall in love with you, Hyein-si.

Hyein surprised, but she feels happy in her deepest heart. Chanyeol hug her tightly.

April, 1st 2015. Viva Polo Restaurant. 312-86 Myeongil 1-dong, Gangdong-gu.

Chanyeol get flustered after Hyein’s touch his face. His mind become blank. He’s in silent and just watching Hyein runs out from the restaurant. Jungsoo following Hyein right away. Yoora approach to Chanyeol who still in his reverie.

Yoora : (spank his head) Ya! What did you do to Hyein?

Chanyeol back to his sense but he didn’t answer Yoora’s question. He suddenly runs out from the restaurant to chase Hyein. Jungsoo who lost Hyein’s track standing in front of the restaurant anxiously. Chanyeol keep running until the intersection. He sees Hyein going to cross the street. He runs closer to her.

Hyein take her step and cross the street. She didn’t know that a motorcycle come to her fast. Then someone grab her hand and pull her to him. A fast motorcycle just passing by. Hyein gets shocked, her heart beats fast. She’s scare. Then she realize that she’s in someone’s hug right now. Hyein lift her head and look at his face. Hyein gets shocked again.

Chanyeol : Are you okay?

Hyein can’t answer his question. Her lips become froze. She push Chanyeol away slowly.

Chanyeol : Hyein-si, do you hear me?

Hyein still in her silent. She just looking at him. Chanyeol become confused.

Chanyeol : Lets go back, Hyein-si.

Chanyeol take Hyein back to the restaurant. Hyein didn’t say anything and following him from behind.

Jungsoo feels relieved after seeing his sister back.

Hyein : I’m sorry, oppa. I make you worried. Jungsoo : Don’t do that anymore, okay? Hyein : Yes. Yoora : But why did you run away, Hyein-si? Hyein : That’s… Chanyeol : I scared her. That’s why she ran away. Yoora : (spank his head) Ya! I told you don’t joking around like that anymore. (sigh) Jungsoo : (laugh) I’m not surprise then.

Hyein looking at Chanyeol secretly. She wants to say thank you to Chanyeol for saving her life before, but her lips become froze. She’s shy. Her heart keep beating fast.

Then Haejin who just come back from his work arrived at the restaurant.

Jungsoo : Lets go home, hyung. Haejin : What? I just came and we’re going to go home? (frowning) Jungsoo : You’re late. I’ve eaten dinner with Hyein. Haejin : It’s not fair. (frowning)

Hyein patting his brother’s shoulder then they’re going to go home. Chanyeol looking at Hyein’s back. He wants to get closer to her. Chanyeol feels something that connect him with her.

November, 25th 2005. 7AM. Hyera still laying on her bed even though she’s going to school today. Hyera feels lazy to get up. She doesn’t want to go to school. Then Hyein tries to wake her up. Hyein : Eonnie, wake up. You’re going to be late. Hyera : Ehmm… I’m sleepy. Don’t disturb me, Hyein-ah. Hyein : Eonnie, you have to go to school. Hyera : I don’t wanna go to school today. (covering her face with pillow) Hyein : (take the pillow from her face) Eonnie, eomma and appa will angry if you don’t go to school. Lets go, eonnie. Wake up. Hyera : (an idea come into her mind) (sit on her bed and facing Hyein) Hyein-ah, do you want to go to school? Hyein : Can I? Hyera : Of course. Hyein : How? Hyera : Being me. Hyein : What? Being eonnie? Hyera : Yes. You really want to know how school life is, right? Then being me and you can feel it. Hyein : But… what if they know that I’m not you, eonnie? Hyera : That’s impossible. We’re really similar, no one will notice it except our family. How is it? You want to try it, right? Hyein : Hmm… Okay. Then Hyera tell Hyein about her school, her friends, and others. Hyera help Hyein dressing like her. Hyera : See? No one can notice it. Hyein : Yes, eonnie. Then I’m going now. Hyera : Take care, Hyein-ah. Enjoy your time. (grinning) Hyein come out from her house then go to Hyera’s school by bus. She’s getting excited. She never did this thing before. She never ride the bus nor go to school. Then Hyein arrive at Hyera’s school. She feels amazed by it. Many students gathered there. They’re talking and playing with each other. Hyein feels envy. She didn’t have friends. Her eyes getting teary. Suddenly some girls approach to her. They’re Hyera’s friends. Hyein pretend to be Hyera then. Hyein feels happy. She wants to go to school everyday like this. If only she didn’t sick. Hyein’s going to go to the school canteen alone. Then she saw someone being hit by some students in empty room. Boy 1 : Give us your money right now! Boy 2 : Ya! Are you deaf? Hyein looking at them from window. Then she has idea to drive them out. Hyein : Seonsaengnim, someone getting hit here! (talk loudly) They’re panic and leave that room immediately. A boy who getting hit left behind. Hyein approach to him slowly. Hyein : Are you okay? That boy lift his head and looking at Hyein with teary eyes. Hyein feels sad. Unconsciously she hug him. Hyein : It’s okay. Don’t cry. You’re alright now. That boy cries in her hug. Hyein feels sorry to him. How bad they’re. Then Hyein take that boy with her to the school canteen. Hyein buy two strawberry milk for her and that boy. Hyein give the milk and sit beside him. Hyein : What’s your name? Chanyeol : (silent) Hyein : I’m Hyera, Park Hyera. You’re? Chanyeol : (look at her) Park Chanyeol. Hyein : Wow, we have same surname. Nice to meet you, Chanyeol-ah. (smile prettily) Chanyeol look at Hyein. Hyein’s smile make his heart beats so fast. Then a flower grow in his heart. He falls in love with her for sure.

Chanyeol back to his dormitory. He bring a plastic bag with him. Chanyeol come into his room. He sit on his bed and take a strawberry milk from the plastic bag then drink it. Baekhyun who’s his roommate wake up when notice his presence.

Baekhyun : You’re back? Chanyeol : Yes. Baekhyun : What’s that? Give me one! Chanyeol : (take another strawberry milk) Here. Baekhyun : Again? Why do you like it so much, Yeol? Ckckck… Chanyeol : Why? It’s delicious. Baekhyun : It’s true, but only you who addict with strawberry milk like a women. Chanyeol : You think too short. Strawberry milk is good for health. Baekhyun : Whatever.

Chanyeol laugh hearing his friend’s respond. Then Baekhyun back to sleep. Chanyeol laying down in his bed. He remember his old memories. Chanyeol take his necklace and looking at it.

Chanyeol : Hyera-ah, do you remember when you save me from the bad kids? You hugged me tightly and bought strawberry milk for me. I miss that time. I wonder what’re you doing right know there. Do you miss me?

Chanyeol fall asleep while thinking about Hyera.

Hyein having lunch in the cafetaria alone. Suddenly fans screaming from outside. She’s curious then she goes closer to the window and look at outside building. She sees her sunbae, Hyeonhwa and Seunghyun walk together into the building. Hyein laugh secretly watching them then she back to her seat. Not a long Hyeonhwa come to her.

Hyein : So you’re dating? Hyeonhwa : Who? Hyein : Eonnie and Seunghyun oppa. Hyeonhwa : No, we’re not. Hyein : Really? My brother going to be broken heart. (laugh) Hyeonhwa : (pinch Hyein’s cheeks) You!

They laugh together. Hyeonhwa who just came back to Seoul, join YG Entertainment as actress and model since a week ago. She already famous so there’s no big deal for her to gain people attention. And today she come with Seunghyun, who’s one of Big Bang member. Big Bang who has world popularity won’t let Hyeonhwa restful with her closeness with Seunghyun.

Hyeonhwa : So how about you with my little brother, Hyein-ah? Hyein : Huh? Hyeonhwa : Do you love my little brother? Hyein : Do you love my older brother? (grinning) Hyeonhwa : Ya! Don’t ask back before you answer my question! (frowning)

Hyeonhwa’s face getting red, she’s shy. Hyein laughs looking at her, she likes to tease her sunbae. Hyein know that Hyeonhwa and Haejin like each other but they never admit it. Hyein wants to make them be together, but what should she do with her relationship with Jongsuk. Hyein likes Jongsuk and they’re always together. If Hyeonhwa and Haejin dating, Hyein can’t be together with Jongsuk, and if she’s dating with Jongsuk then Hyeonhwa and Haejin can’t be together. It’s so complicated.

Hyein finished her recording for today. She walks toward the park alone. The sun start to set off and the sky getting darker. Hyein walking around enjoying the evening breeze, then she sit under the maple’s tree. Hyein take her notebook and a pen from her bag. She writes beautiful words on her notebook and put some melodies. Then she sings it, Falling – Park Hyein. We met by chance You look at me as you know me before Who are you? You cry when you see me

Hyein stopped singing, she’s shocked. Someone just fell from the tree. She approach to that person and trying to help him.

Hyein : Are you okay? Chanyeol : (grinning) Yes, I’m totally okay. Hyein : Glad to hear that. But what’re you doing on the tree at this hour? Chanyeol : I was looking for the idea. Hyein : You’re weird. Chanyeol : Am I? I think I’m weird too. (smile widely)

Hyein back to her spot. She sit and continue writing her song. Chanyeol curious about what she’s doing. He walk closer to her and sit beside her. Hyein’s heart start to beat fast again. She’s trying hard to keep her heart calm.

Chanyeol : Do you write a song? Hyein : Yes. Chanyeol : Ah, so the news’s true that you’re a song-writer. Can you make a song for me? Hyein : How much you can pay me? Chanyeol : (laugh) I don’t know that you’re this funny, Hyein-si. Hyein : I’m serious. Chanyeol : (patting her head) I’ll give anything for you. (smile widely) Hyein : Don’t joking around!

Chanyeol smiling while looking at Hyein. Hyein become shy and nervous. She wants to go from that place immediately.

Hyein comes to see her sunbae’s performance. She’s going to Bom’s waiting room.

Bom : Where’s Seungyoon? What time is it? (angry) Manajer : I can’t contact him. (worried) Bom : What should we do then? Who will play the piano?

Everyone seem busy looking for Seungyoon. Hyein approach to Bom.

Hyein : What’s wrong eonnie? Bom : Seungyoon hasn’t came yet even though we’re going to perform 15 minutes later. (panic)

Then Bom looking at Hyein intently.

Hyein : Why? Bom : You can play piano, right? Hyein : Yes. Bom : Then you replace him, okay? Hyein : What? But eonnie I haven’t practice that song yet. Bom : This’s your song, Hyein-ah. You didn’t need practice because you wrote this song by yourself. Hyein : But eonnie… Bom : Don’t talk anymore. You do Seungyoon’s part.

Hyein can’t against Bom’s words. Then Hyein preparing herself before perform. It’s Hyein’s first time to sing in front of many people. Hyein feels nervous. Bom approach to her and hold her hand.

Bom : Don’t be nervous. I’m with you, Hyein-ah. Fighting! (smile widely) Hyein : Thank you, eonnie.

Hyein and Bom go up to the stage. Hyein sit in front of the piano. Then she start playing the piano. Bom sing with her unique voice. After that Hyein turn to sing. She sing softly. Her voice is so beautiful like an angel’s. They sing together. Their voices become one and hypnotize everyone.

Chanyeol listening to Hyein’s voice really well. He suddenly feels Hyein’s voice is similar to Hyera’s. He compares them again. Chanyeol slap his face to go back to his sense. He can’t stop comparing Hyein with Hyera. They’re just same. Chanyeol screaming inside.

Bom and Hyein finish their performance. They’re going back to the backstage. Then now it’s Chanyeol’s turn to perform with his members. Chanyeol dance and sing coolly. Hyein can’t take her eyes from him. Chanyeol’s handsome, she think.  Then Hyein eyes looking at Chanyeol’s leg. It seems that his leg’s in pain. Hyein feels worried. She can’t quite, she’s walking around, but there’s nothing she can do right now. Not a long, EXO performance done. Chanyeol back to the backstage with an unsteady step.

Suho : What’s wrong, Yeol? Did you hurt? Chanyeol : Nothing. Lets go back, hyung. (grinning)

Chanyeol keep walking then he reach in front of Hyein. Chanyeol smiling at Hyein then his eyes looking at Hyein’s necklace. Suddenly he hug Hyein.

Chanyeol : I miss you, Hye… (kiss Hyein’s lips)

Happy Virus

Who doesn’t know him? A handsome tall man with his bright and lovely smile?

He’s Park Chanyeol, who has stolen my heart with his happy virus. He’s younger than me by 2 years, but I found a great man inside him. He who always bring happiness to the world make me fall in love with him in a second.

I never meet with him..

I never talk to him..

And he doesn’t know that I’m exist..

I’m crazy, totally crazy, right?

But I love him so much..

Don’t think I’m like this because I’m a fans, that’s not true! My feeling for him is real. Even if he’s not an idol, I still love him. But, maybe I’ll never know him if he’s not an idol.
