Happy Juneteenth, Black simmers! Let's not forget that none of us are free until all of us are free. That includes the enslaved people incarcerated by the mass carceral system which took the place of plantations. In fact, almost 40% of the federal prison population is Black people! Because, as we know, "except as punishment for a crime" is that tricky little exception used in the 13th amendment.

No wonder states like Mississippi, Arkansas and Louisiana have the highest rates of imprisonment in the country! Prison is profitable just like cotton and tobacco used to be and these mfs want that cotton money back! This is why if you are a Black man born in 2001, 1 out of every 5 of you will serve some form of time in your lifetime. Wild right?

4t3 Junimo Plush Conversion

If you remember waaay back when I tried to create my very first mesh of junimo plushies, it was an epic fail in my book and I've since scrapped those.

Upon working to finish and release my SDV world, I came across these and simply had to convert. Originally made by faeeish for Sims 4, who has since retired but left open TOU (Thank you dearest <3)

Shoutout to @nornities from literally 2022 for teaching me the ins and outs and tricks of routing. Spent 3 whole days just going around reshaping all the routing to be more straight lines, shaking my head at the ridiculous amount of stray lines and just downright dumb choices of my younger self (because WHY could ma sims traverse literal mountains 😵‍💫). Moved all spawners within reach and accessible / off hills and slopes. Finally happy.

This the cleanest it’s ever looked (and trust me it was BAD BAD).
