sometimes i get really intimated with meeting new people because well, simply put, they are way smarter than i am. i feel like i need to prepare the conversation i'm going to have with them using a deck of vocab cards and practice my answers to their  questions on the drive over. but other times i tell myself, fuck it! and end up having a better time because i grow impatient with the small talk, decide to cut the bs, and find the confidence to be myself. i hope tomorrow goes the same way. meeting new people and networking can be daunting, but also a ton of useless fun that is totally necessary in times of stress- especially finals stress.
