“You did not… You saved me as much as was in your control.” Her eyes glanced up at his, and was actually surprised to see him smiling.

“I’m very, very glad to be back.” she sighed, her hands holding tighter onto his shirt. “I’m glad everyone else is safe too… especially you.” She paused a moment, not even sure if she wanted to let him know… but she knew she had to.

“While you all were living in that terrible world. I was watching over all of you. Even with my visions, I couldn’t see everything all the time, but I know enough of what happened.” Her grip just got tighter on his shirt as she tried to hold him closer. “I’m so glad you’re alive.”

He takes a deep breath after hearing her words. He could only imagine what she was feeling seeing the ones she loved going through such kind of trials. but all that was in the past now. The promise of rebirth and a new start had been fulfilled.

“ I’ve been trying to find a way to make this day come faster... And it finally has.” He reaches for her cheek, gently caressing her cheek with his thumb “I could not die, not without seeing you smile again, besides... I missed doing this...”

Taking a deep breath as his cheeks turn pink, Noel leans in foward looking to press his lips against hers

The lost of his precious princess was a hit Noel barely endured, but after a long time to recover. Noel was back up on his feet. The hope of bringing her back was like a fire that didn’t seem to go out. With the burden of an eching heart Noel lived throught the years fighting the adversities and any challenge that in front of him appeared.

It all had paid off, He would find Serah in the New world, just the idea to see her again filled the Hunter with joy. As their eventual reunion came to be, it was just like the first night they spent together, the world seized and only the two of them existed. Without any doubt or obstacle, Noel approached Serah, wrapping his arms around the young girl holding her tightly.

“Serah!!”

Serah easily relaxed into his arms as he hugged her. At lest this was a good sign. He was excited to see her. Her arms came around him as well, just breathing him in for a moment. She’d really missed him. Even if it sounded silly to say, considering she wasn’t technically alive. She still had events happen of her own and she missed him. “I’m sorry. Noel…. I’m so so sorry.” She mumbled against his chest.

It felt like an etternity had passed. Finally being capable of wrapping his arms around her, to get her scent, to hear her lovely voice once again. All the struggle, all the challenges and trials he had gone through had finally paid off. Having the one girl his heart desired, right here between his arms

This was the type of Happiness he had been seeking for so long

“Don’t be Serah... I failed to keep you safe as your Guardian, I should be the one saying sorry... “

His hand moved up to her hair grabbing on her hair pressing his forehead against hers as he smiles

“I’m so happy to have you back”
