I know I vanished from this account. It was mainly because of how busy I became with college, but I had to at least come back today to share this with you all. Jonghyun was and always will be the love of my life. The smiling angel that shines our lives. My heart hurts more and more as I type this…I just can’t believe this happened. Rest easy my love, I will miss you so so much.

I really can’t believe that he’s gone. I can’t believe that his heart stopped beating and he will never have kids or family. I can’t believe we won’t be able to see new pictures of him or he will never write songs again. I will miss his smile, his voice and all the silly things he used to do. My heart is literally broken. But I’m thankful for everything. He made me smile many times, he gave role to many people and he had a pure voice which was leading people to the best. I hope he’s well in heaven and he is happy now.

He fought for the rights of lgbt, for mental health awareness, against the mistreatment of minorities in korea, he spoke out against gender conformity, he was open about his struggle with depression, he worked so hard….and I’m so proud of him. I’m proud to say he was my idol…we have to continue what he started we have to keep fighting for rights and to raise awareness of mental health we have to do better for him…. You did well Kim Jonghyun we are all so proud of you.

Jonghyun will always be remembered as the beautiful, talented and strong soul he was. He who always stood up for others, he who supported everyone, he who worked and worked so hard. Our deepest condolences to SHINee, shawols, and his family. Rest in Peace angel. We will never forget you.

For all the people who didn’t know him… Jonghyun was everything you could wish for in and idol and more. Beyond his talent, no one could talk to him without gushing about what a good person he was. He was just that lovable and kind. Jonghyun was always outspoken about mental health, lgbtq rights, and inequality. He was always the first one to cry, but he was also always the first one to laugh. He poured his soul into composing and writing music. He suffered from insomnia, but always gave 100% energy on the stage. He liked silly jokes, ballads, and staying indoors. He had one of those voices that could make you cry just by listening to it. He was so kind, gentle, open, and talented. His life was short, but I won’t ever be able to forget him.
