fruits basket is the greatest manga ever written almost solely for the fact that from the first chapter we’re supposed to be mystified and curious about these elusive shape shifting boys that are so incredibly rare and impossible and secretive. meanwhile one of the protagonist’s best friends and her little brother are also just casually psychics and everyone seems to be vaguely aware of it??? and they also literally never use their powers to do anything about the sohma family curse they’re just twinning in goth fashion and making biting remarks???

A little Homestuck PSA

As 4/13 is right around the corner I just wanted to remind everyone about the Unofficial Homestuck Collection. As Viz and the death of Flash have been slowly killing the intended Homestuck experience there is still a way to see it how it was meant.

This offline program allows for all the flash to be seen and mini games to be played as intended and helps protect from spoilers. If you are going to start reading Homestuck or are planning to trick some unsuspecting friend into reading please consider using this program!

So I have a customer who is a regular, and his wife died. Before I started working here, but still relatively recently. He has been healing, going out alone and with friends and living life without her is part of that. He and I were chatting one night I was waiting on him, he was alone and I was cleaning a table next to him and he said something about me being a Cowboys fan and then asked me when I was going to be single. Now, I don't get hit on too terribly often but it does happen and I'm usually pretty flippant about my responses, like shut that shit down but also please still tip me. So, without thinking I say to him " When my husband dies "

I immediately and profusely apologized, our server/customer relationship is unharmed and he thought the whole thing was funny, I think, but this is going to be one of those things that makes me cringe for the rest of my natural life
