More blob therapy. this color palette makes me think of summer and watermelons. I am feeling in a little bit of a funk lately and am trying to curtail the seasonal blues as much as possible. But it seems to happen every single year no matter how much I fight it or try to will myself out of it. Who wants to color with me??! I know it’s the opposite of a fall color palette but let me introduce you to the zero effs I give about that. 🤓 After weeks of a no good very bad cold, I recently cleaned off my messy desk and got back to my sketchbook. I’ll often spend 15 minutes deciding on my palette before I begin. But the last few days I’ve just kept these colors handy and it’s been really fun just to dig into one palette. There’s so much to explore just within these 6 colors. So I thought I’d share. Here’s the rules! Just kidding, there are no damn rules. Just start with some or all of the colors in this palette using your mediums and style. Digital, analog, whatever you want. Does it make you as happy as it makes me? Inspired by a recent conversation with a dear friend about aging. Beauty is not defined by our age or the depth of our wrinkles. Kind hearts make a person beautiful no matter how old we are. I’d really love to see our culture shift and embrace our elders as some others do, otherwise I think aging wouldn’t be so damn scary.
