I just... how is Utah expected to play a game anytime soon? I know the coaching staff is not supposed to be the problem, but my god. I wouldn’t want to play and put that jersey on

I can only imagine how the players feel right now. How do you collectively recover from this?

Remember how awesome the Washington Spirit team was in 2016 with all that mess going on? The players bonded together and fought their homophobic owner who tricked Megan Rapinoe out of the national anthem, and their moronic head coach who played mind games and benched some of his best players for the biggest games, and still played so well that they were only seconds away from winning the NWSL Championship game. Sometimes that kind of crap makes the team stronger - even though they should NOT have to rise above bullshit like that in the first place.

And now I have to cry about that fucking final again. 😩

Just as a note to the USWNT fans who are following Preath to United or who are getting into the WSL, it’s never ‘Man U’.

That became a thing when rival fans used it to make jokes about our players who were killed in a plane crash on their way back from Munich. It’s either Manchester United, Man Utd, or MU(FC or WFC).

I’m interested to see how much power NWSL has in potentially sanctioning Hansen. What consequences do we think they will have the power to enforce? What if the only consequence they have control over is removing Utah from the league?
