I was told I'd find a refugee camp at the abandoned Ellinikon International Airport, but I guess they've either been moved or I didn't find the right spot. Not sure what I would have done if I'd actually found them. #Ελληνικόν #athens #abandoned #airport #refugeecamp

It cost almost €9 billion to host the 2004 games. The Olympics site to the north sits in rusting decline, surrounded by crumbling vendor booths and empty mosaic pools slowly flaking away. Oddly, the water in the outdoor event pools is surprisingly clear amidst the deteriorating backdrop. Maybe they're getting some use out of these sites after all. #athens #olympics2004
