What they say: I'm fine
What they mean: HATBOX GHOST IS BACK IN THE HAUNTED MANSION AFTER BEING A DISNEYLAND URBAN LEGEND FOR 45 YEARS AND I AM GOING TO SCREAM [SINGS GRIM GRINNING GHOSTS WHILE SOBBING]
Music video for Motor Sister’s “Beg Borrow Steal” that I got to work on.
Let’s Scare Jessica To Death, 1971.
I’m really proud to have been involved with Fantasm, both as an interviewee and an associate producer. Kyle Kutcha’s documentary gives a fascinating look inside horror conventions and the family atmosphere they create.
The film hit DVD in November, and now it’s available for on demand streaming on Vimeo. You can rent or own it with the click of a button.
The documentary features interviews with Tom Atkins (Escape from New York), Joe Lynch (Wrong Turn 2), Lloyd Kaufman (The Toxic Avenger), Heather Langenkamp (A Nightmare on Elm Street), Richard Johnson (The Haunting) and more.
Motor Sister is turning into the gift that keeps on giving for Anthrax's Scott Ian and his all-star cohort.
Here's a the Motor Sister music video I got to work on a few weeks ago, directed by my friend Jack Bennett!
Go behind the scenes with Motor Sister as they shoot a pair of music videos with director Jack Bennett. For more info, visit: http://www.metalblade.com/motor...
A little behind the scenes of a music video I helped out on for MOTOR SISTER, a supergroup made up of Scott Ian (Anthrax), Jim Wilson (Mother Superior), John Tempesta (White Zombie), Joey Vera (Fates Warning), and Pearl Aday.
A fest for those fascinated with serial killers, Mad Mobster True Crime & Horror Expo looks to become an annual Chicago institution.
I was quoted in this article talking about my initial reaction to Mad Mobster, and then my realization about how cool an idea it is. Wish I could've been at the show.
Finally, my documentary FANTASM is available via Vimeo On Demand. Please click the link and check it out!
FANTASM finally comes to DVD
September 2012, I set out to make a short basic documentary about what a horror convention, and the doc was to fulfill an academic requirement so I could receive my degree from Syracuse University. Two years later, that now feature-length, award-winning documentary is coming to DVD.
I would've never thought this was possible, or that this project had the potential it did/does. I'm so thankful for everyone who supported the project and urged me to keep going. This, in all seriousness, is a dream come true.
You can order the DVD here: http://fantasm.storenvy.com/. The preorder ends on November 11th.
