Clark sighed as she adjusted his collar, crossing his arms over his chest in clear displeasure while she went over the plan for what felt like the third time that day. It would be easier if he was the one that sneaked into the back, using his speed but he wasn’t planning on telling her about his powers. Ever. Or at least not yet. They had quite a few bridges to cross before he even thought about trying to tell her. “And if there’s someone in the back what are you going to do?”

He was expecting a snarky comment in response, to which he would reply with an eye roll of his own.

“My name is Johnathan and we’re getting married in January.”
