I wasn’t looking for you, I didn’t knew it was you. You made me believe that love never left me despite that my heart was crushed into a million tiny pieces and those pieces were left shattered on tiled floors. You made me laugh again when I even forgot how to smile. You made me stop believing that all guys treated girls badly because of how you cared for me, you have saved me from my own demons baby. You are one in a million. A beautiful masterpiece indeed — a masterpiece that should be taken cared of, a masterpiece that should be cherished, masterpiece that should be treasured.

I know it wasn’t easy. I was once an ocean and you were so in love with waves despite of being completely terrified to swim, but still you did, you have jumped over puddles for me. I know I’m hard to love. I’m definitely hard to handle, I assure you that. And I am still. But you pushed the walls I used to protect myself because I had been hurt so badly before. You were patient, caring, understanding, and protective every minute of every day. You brought me so much happiness that I never thought I would feel again. You may not be my first love, and I may not be yours but thank you for teaching me so much about myself, love and forgiveness.

Thank you for coming into my life when I needed a second chance. I’m not really good in showing what I truly feel but Love, what you thought is unnoticed, they are just right here in my heart.

Wala kang dapat ipighinayang sa mga tao at taong nasayang dahil mahal hindi nila alam ang halaga mong kanilang sinayang. At hindi man ako katulad ng mga naunang tao sa buhay mo na nabigay na ng sangkatutak na alaala wala kang dapat ipagaalala dahil ibang love story ang kahahatungan nating dalawa.

Walang sayang. Walang hindi saya. Walang sawa. Walang wakas.

Hindi man ako ang una mo pag-ibig, sisiguraduhin kong sa akin walang dulong mananaig.

I can’t wait for the day to come to finally say “I do” with you in front of the Lord. From that day on, it’ll be just you and me. We’ll now be under the same blanket each morning. Your beautiful face will be the first thing to greet me and in that moment I already knew that God has already sent me my morning gift. Our little haven will be mostly filled with photographs hanged on the walls, and the aroma of coffee and chocolate lingering in our dining area. I’d be happy to make your breakfast and help you prepare for work. And on weeknights, we can sit side by side blogging while listening to 90’s hit songs or enjoy a movie marathon with our best-loved old shows. It’ll be fun! Just you and me from morning to nigh time, and for the rest of the days to come.

Healing takes a lot of courage. It isn’t only asking you to forgive those who have hurt you but it also requires you to accept yourself completely and unconditionally. There are days that are still hard and frustrating. We just wanted to be left alone, to sit down with the pain and cry it all out. But for some reason or another, we just can’t do it yet. There are also days that we feel like we’re about to give up and just walk away completely with nothing but our broken pieces and wait until emptiness soothes the soul. It’s not really that easy. It does take time to heal, to accept that some things are meant to be temporary no matter how hard you try, and how badly we want it in our life. We often fail, sometimes we stumble, we have our limitations and it takes a lot of guts to accept the truth that no matter how strong we think we are, we also need some rescuing.
