joon’s eyes rolled, arms crossed because god, if there was a clique that joon had started to hate dealing with since the start of the last year.. it was the brainiacs. no matter how peaceful he tried to be with them, something always happened.. nevermind the fact that even his own rebels hated the damn clique. and now he was dealing with the leader. again. honestly, joon was sure he’d never get on with one of the brainiac leaders at this point. “well, that was your mistake because reasoning why kids that are pissed at your kids, it doesn’t really work.” and his voice was still unimpressed. “control my children? you can’t control rebels, daesung. if you want me to control them, then control your damn kids too. specifically hyuksoo. so long as any of yours are coming at me or my own, i’m not going to do anything. take it as payback for what i need to, and have had, to deal with when it comes to your snake ass clique.” which in all honesty, joon was aware was somewhat petty, but considering how fucking irritating hyuksoo was becoming lately, it was what he was going to.

He just wanted this mess sorted out with so he didn’t have to worry about it. Rebels really did piss him off most of the time, they were always the ones picking on everyone else, meaning daesung was always having to try and sort something out. “i was only trying to deal with it myself because I didn’t want to have to go and complain at you,” but, of course, it hadn’t worked and here he was in front of the taller leader. He was not the one who had started throwing punches, he had just tried to sort it out in a peaceful way, but the senior was not in the mood for ‘peaceful’, it seemed. “You have a better chance of control them than anyone else, you’re the rebel leader for goodness sake,” if their own leader couldn’t even keep them in check, then the whole school was fucked. “And I do control my kids, Hyuksoo is just... being difficult. I’ve tried reasoning with him, but still, my kids aren’t normally the ones starting anything,” it was always the rebels starting something. “Just talk to the guy and tell him to lay off my kids, honestly. I already have too much damn homework to do for your lot in payment for not beating up anyone.”

jesse knew a lot of people, especially brainiacs, that liked to spend the night in here and for the most part he did allow it because it wasn’t exactly going to effect him, right? sure there were times he didn’t because he.. well he needed the library at that hour, but he was going to leave all that up to rumour honestly.

“probably because so many people like to nap on it during the day anyway,“ he chuckled softly, because well the library was apparently forever a favourite place to nap for students of all cliques, but it wasn’t surprising. “you sure? because i can go out and get you something if you’re really adamant about staying in here all night. i’d rather the one i was locking in here had food and drink, even if you don’t eat it or anything.“ and hearing he didn’t each much made him sigh a little, but jesse could understand actually, because well he forgot to eat on random days actually.

Daesung did take a moment to actually flick through what he had to do, the dread just setting in further as he realised how much was left. Five different homework assignments, three reports and then his own work he needed to finish off from the last lesson. Oh yes, he was certainly going to be sticking around all night. He would be lucky if he managed to grab a couple of hours sleep before the library opening again in the morning. 

“That’s true,” he admitted with a smile and a nod of his head, “And because I’m not normally in the habit of looking for a place to nap. I only come here to work.” Which was how the library should be used, it was for studying and to get books, not to be the bedroom away from your dorm. “I’m sure, you don’t need to get me anything, I’ll be fine,” and if he did get a bit hungry, then he could just deal with it. Anyway, he was pretty sure he had a couple of pieces of candy in his bag somewhere, not that this was really very filling. “It’s not like you’re going to come back in the morning to find a corpse, well, you might if this work ends up killing me.”
