Thanks to the young girl’s sudden speech, he was pulled from his dreaming(?) state and looked up at her as he remained seated; recognizing her instantly though he was still a little dull, and wasn’t quite aware of what she had said since he was yanked out of deep thoughts during her words, however he managed to catch something about assistance. “Ah, do you need me to help you with something?”

The question had made her eyebrows furrowed and addled herself. Clearly, he did not hear her inquire him at all, due to him asking her if she needed assistance instead; which made her a bit concerned or think that perhaps he was contemplating. Faintly tilting her head to the side, an eyebrow arched. “Yah, Jay-Oppa. I asked if you needed any assistance since you seemed lost! Not you to help me.”

Upon hearing the other’s words, Seolhyun’s eyebrows furrowed while a disgusted face had come into sight. “That sounds super creepy! It’s just me standing there with my butt faced and all of that-- Just imagine if that happened to you, aish!”

“Hm.. is that so? Shall we find out then?” A chuckle slipped out right between her lips before the corner of her lips curled into a broad smile. “I think we could be good friends as well, Mr. Kim Myungsoo.”

❝ you ? you’re a meerkat heh. ❞ the older girl teased, reaching up to lightly poke seolhyun’s nose as she snickered at her own silly response. it was wrong of jimin to expect such a thing from people in the first place. the world would be quite a boring and uneventful place if people around treated her like she was the most predictable person on the face of the earth so it’s pretty okay that there are different sorts of people who perceive her in different ways. as for seolhyun, jimin’s first impression of her member is very far from what she thinks of her now. ❝ you are my number one fan, ddeollie. i get giggly every time you break into unpretty rapstar references and imitate me. it makes me feel that you look up to me even though i’m just me. you make me feel special. that’s what you are ! ❞

Laughter escaped from her lips as she heard the leader’s answer. Her nose wrinkled as the older poked her nose. Being attentive of what the older female had to say, Seolhyun nodded her head slowly. The corners of her lips stretched even wider into a vast grin. It was true though, the younger absolutely adored and looked up to her leader and friend. She had always noticed of how hard the older female was always working, even if her schedule was greatly packed; which made Seolhyun want to work hard as well. The way Jimin had so much charisma on and off stage had just had Seolhyun mesmerized. Some may or may not see that she is an excellent leader and person, but that’s okay; everyone will always have different views and only certain people will see who she really is. “I highly look up to you, Unnie! You work so hard and you’re just so cool. I’ll always support you all the way! You just keep doing you. You’re special too though, heh. I’m not that great, but I want to be like you. Working hard even though my schedules may be tightly packed. You make me want to work hard till the very end.”

“Always schedules with you, hmm?” Although she spoke jokingly, her smile said otherwise. It must be tiring to constantly work the way her friend does. Her expression softened as she nodded. “Of course, I did! Why wouldn’t I? I honestly don’t think it looks bad, but it was still a risky decision… I’m glad! You never know if you try though… I was thinking the same before dyeing my hair.”

“You know it, Unnie! I either always have a photo-shoot or a program to attend to.” Seolhyun let out a soft chuckle, it had been tiring to run around and working continuously lately. But on the bright side, it had kept her busy and spend some time with the members. As well as of right now, she was not working and spending some quality time with her friend. “Ah true, I can see why you would question it. But it turned out good and was worth the risk!” Letting out a soft laugh once again, Seolhyun shook her head. “I really don’t think blonde looks good on me, I think I’ll just stick to black and brown for now!”

Listening to the older’s words made Seolhyun recollect all the memories she had when she had a normal life. Calmly nodding her head, her lips transitioned into a pout. She knew exactly how the older felt; Life was much easier when there was no diets, tiring schedules, working-out constantly, and what not. But that’s what part of the job came with for being an idol. Seolhyun let out a soft sigh and patted the older’s back. “I know Soojung, I know. Buuuuut.. think of it this way.. we got to meet a lot of amazing people that are our friends and get to work with them! We also get to meet many people around the world and travel to many places. It may be tough, but there’s lots of people to support us and you’re never alone. I hope that makes sense–”
