Study Is Not Focus — Community Is
What two intense months of working on Agentforce, AI, and real-world use cases taught me about focus, growth, and the power of people.
The last two months have been intense — and transformational.
I’ve been deeply immersed in Agentforce, AI, and real-world use cases. Not just studying concepts or completing modules, but applying what I learned, reflecting on it, and growing through real conversations and experiences.
During recent project kickoffs and learning sessions, I kept hearing the same concerns again and again:
“I can’t focus on studying.” “Trailhead feels overwhelming.” “There’s no motivation.” “I’m learning, but there’s no impact.” “Recruiters keep skipping my CV.”
These statements are honest. I’ve said them myself in the past.
And when you look closely, they all point to one thing.
Focus.
But here’s the truth most people miss:
Study alone is NOT focus.
We’ve been taught to believe that focus means sitting alone, studying harder, and pushing through frustration. But in reality, that kind of isolation often leads to burnout, confusion, and self-doubt.
Real focus doesn’t come from isolation. It comes from connection.
Real focus is built when:
You network and exchange ideas
You have mentors who challenge your thinking
You surround yourself with smart, positive professionals
You stay connected to people who give you energy, not pressure
And here’s something important: Support doesn’t only come from seniors. Even a junior professional can bring clarity, motivation, and a fresh perspective that helps you move forward.
People are my energy
For me, people are the source of my focus.
Every conversation brings my clarity back. Every discussion pushes me to learn more. Every exchange reminds me why I started.
I didn’t suddenly become more disciplined or magically more motivated. What changed was my environment and my mindset.
Because of that shift — and the people around me — I’ve recently achieved:
✅ Agentblazer 2025 & 2026
✅ Champion, Innovator & Legend
✅ Double Ranger status
Not by studying more hours. But by staying connected, curious, and consistent.
The lesson that changed everything
This journey reinforced one lesson clearly:
Growth doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens in communities.
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or overlooked — don’t just ask “How do I study better?” Ask instead:
Who am I learning with?
Who challenges my thinking?
Who gives me energy when motivation drops?
Because focus isn’t just about what you study. It’s about who you surround yourself with while you grow.
Stay connected. Stay curious. Stay consistent.
And yes — stay tuned. (Kam's Tech Talk)
