the misfit blinked confused as he apologized, the shock still prominent on her features. “it’s okay..” she muttered before getting up, this time keeping her distance for a bit, not because she was afraid or angry at the male but because he was passing around and she didn’t want to be the reason why he exploded again. “it’s okay..” she reassured with a soft smile before approaching him shyly, barely a step. “are you okay? why are you angry? what happened?”

Yeojeong just stood in shock of himself, head still tilted towards the floor as his eyes tried to focus on his shoes. He didn't like these feelings, he didn't like tightness in his chest, the heat that seemed to brew inside him. "It is not ok.. I hurt you.." His robotic tone was still there despite the sudden mumbling of his words. "I don't know.. these.. feelings.. I don't understand them." That fact alone made him even more frustrated. "Someone else hurt you. They said things that weren't ok, unnecessary information. It just.. made me.." He felt the anger start to rise again but he tried taking a few breaths and stopped talking for a moment. "I don't understand why I am getting this way."

Keito was quiet for a while, feeling both bad that he’d run into the other student, but more because everything was so painfully awkward, it made his skin crawl. It annoyed him, that the other wouldn’t even meet his gaze for a single second, and if all of this wasn’t enough, the response he got in return almost rendered the fame chaser completely speechless. What was he supposed to do, if anything? Well, I guess not caring is better than making a big deal about this, so I should count my blessings. He almost wanted to laugh at how ridiculous this situation was. It wasn’t often that the elder met someone who talked in this way, that was for sure. “Oh… Okay– I just meant, you see, kind of… out of it.” Nodding slowly, he paused for a moment. He couldn’t help asking more. “Why is that? I personally couldn’t stand being inside when the weather is so nice today.” That’s why I don’t think I’ve seen you around before. He felt conflicted though, talking to this stranger could be interesting– probably couldn’t get more awkward than it had already been, right? Or he could just leave as if nothing had happened, and at least the other would be satisfied with that.

When Yeojeong noticed that the other wasn’t leaving right away he finally raised his gaze. He didn’t look happy, though he also didn’t look displeased, he just... looked. It was a bit strange how long the stranger was taking to respond, then again that was a normal reaction for anyone that comes into contact with the boy. He was the only one that didn’t understand the social cues of an awkward situation and therefore, didn’t feel the effects of it. 

Out of it. Yeojeong thought for a moment. “I guess I am.” His eyes wandered back down for a few seconds as he pondered the feeling he could only describe as ‘out of place’. He was never really into feelings. The next question brought his attention back up. “I have work to do. Games to play. I would prefer not to move that much as it takes too much of my energy. Being outside is unnecessary.” His voice then lowered slightly as he raised his hand again to rub his eyes. “Also it’s too bright out here..”

{I feel like I update ooc too much--

Welp I just wanted to say I’m officially doooone with this semester~ submitted my final paper today~ sooo I should be back to my normal activity level (I’m hella lazy so everything will still be super slow) buuuuuut it’ll be a much bigger improvement from a hiatus lol

Another thing, I added a plots page with some relationships and, although I haven’t added them yet, a few little general plot ideas. Feel free to check it out /plots <3

Aaaaaand lastly, I’m going out in a bit so I may not get to things until later tonight or tomorrow. I’ll probably get to messages still though so hmu if you want ^^

Yeojeong was glued to his phone again, as always when he’s away from his computer. He had spent the entire class planning out what he was going to do when he arrived home but he couldn’t wait and started typing it up on his phone as soon as the class ended. Of course, with him not paying attention, as he reached the door to the hallway it suddenly opened inwards, smacking the poor boy in the face. He hadn’t seen it coming at all and so as a result he ended up stumbling backward. Yeojeong immediately covered his nose to catch any blood he imagined might have escaped, luckily enough though, he was safe. He just kept his head down, not even looking at the perpetrator, and murmured to himself. “I hate leaving my room.”

Yeojeong thought it was only necessary to help the other clean the dishes since he helped him cook. However, the sink wasn’t that big so they had to split into a two step team; Keito grabbing the dishes and rinsing them for Yeojeong to clean and then dry. They were both quiet during the process and it wasn’t until Keito dropped a small cup into the soapy water, causing the suds to splash up into Yeo’s eyes, did the older speak. There was a long ramble of apologies spilling from his mouth as Yeojeong covered his eyes with his arm. He didn’t yell out or anything, staying silent as he tried to handle the stinging feeling. “It’s fine. It was an accident.” He stated before moving his arm back down. His eyes, however, were red as a few tears rolled down his cheek as a natural response to get the soap out.

Yeojeong stared at the surface of the bar, sticky substances patterned in circles made him keep his hands in his lap. Music mixed with the loud, drunken banter of customers blared in his ears and ever since he stepped foot in the bar, the boy wished to have never left his room. Despite not showing it on his face, Yeojeong felt his entire insides curling up, wanting so badly to retreat. What made it worse was the fact the one who dragged him out also forced him into his ‘nice’ clothes, the ones that had no stains and didn’t stretch comfortably leaving him wrapped up tightly in jeans that were a half a size too small. He may have grown even more since being at this school-

Suddenly the patterns on the table were wiped away by a towel and when Yeojeong looked up his eyes met Sora’s. She was the one that tricked him into coming, the one that played nice to get him into such clothes. ‘I just want to show you where I work~’ She told him. He saw now, but instead of being able to go back home she forced him to stay. “Can I just have some juice?” He asked softer than usual.

It was that time of the day again. Yeojeong needed to leave his room for at least an hour but instead of his usual ‘stand outside the dorm alone until the torture was over’ he happened to run into Jaehyun on his way out. To Yeo’s disliking, this led to the other trying to strike up a conversation and thus led to them walking together around campus. He barely engaged, his head tilted down as his eyes were glued to his phone. He was trying to continue his work, typing out formulas into the notes section of his phone, while Jaehyun kept his eyes on the boy obviously trying to get him to contribute more. Unfortunately for both of them, with neither of them looking where they were going, they ended up hitting the edge of the sidewalk and tumbled into the nearest bush. What was even more unfortunate: it was a thorn bush. Yeojeong’s otherwise apathetic expression suddenly changed, his eyes widening as he began to feel the prickles through his clothes. He tried to get himself up but each time he moved it hurt more, and with him not being physically inept, getting up was a struggle. Tears began to peek in his eyes as he looked over at the other who quite easily got himself up despite the curses and groans of pain. Yeojeong wasn’t used to physical pain so even with something as simple, although still painful, as this he felt it a lot more than the other. “Jaehyun.. help.. I can’t get up..”

Yeojeong blinked as C’s soft voice finally reached him. He stopped pacing and looked down at his hands before glancing at the girl on the floor. His look of anger melted to show one of sincerity. “I’m... I’m sorry..” What was he doing? He couldn’t remember the last time he’d been this angry, usually pushing all of these unnecessary emotions deep down inside of him. He had never cracked to the point of pushing someone, let alone showing the emotion on his face. The boy quickly turned around so the other wouldn’t see him in such a vulnerable state. He was confused. The whole reason why he was upset was due to the gossip he heard about the other. He wasn’t mad at C, far from it, he was mad at whoever posted it, the one who hurt C. Yet there he was, not controlling his childlike emotions which ultimately lead to him lashing out at the one he wanted to protect. “I’m... really sorry.. I didn’t mean to... I don’t know what happened..”

Yeojeong blinked as he stepped into his room. He hadn’t been gone long, he tried to keep it that way, not being out of his room for more than an hour. It wasn’t that he was worried his roommate would get into his stuff but purely for the fact he didn’t want to be outside his room. But maybe he should’ve worried- His round yet droopy eyes met with Daewon’s as he froze in the middle of scrolling through the latest code he was working on. Yeojeong’s facial expression didn’t change as he just processed what the other was doing before walking over and adjusting his glasses on his face. “Why are you on my computer? I’m in the middle of an important code. You didn’t change any numbers did you?” He didn’t sound upset or anything, just kept his normal monotone voice. “If you’re that curious you could’ve asked.” He plopped down on his bed casually. “I’m hacking into the school’s system.”

Yeojeong hugged his pillow to his chest as his blanket draped over his head, hand reaching out to knock on the misfit’s door. He looked especially tired since for the past few days he only slept a total of 4 hours. Of course this was all due to the fact he was figuring out a way to get food from the vending machine to his room without having to leave and making the transport as seamless as possible. But C kept raving about how he had never had a proper sleepover before, and so there he was, abandoning his work for the night to cater to the other’s desires. He didn’t mind too much though, the only thing was as soon as the girl opened the door, he walked in without saying a word and slid into her bed. He cuddled up with rupert and with half closed eyes he gazed up at C. “I’m tired.” At the point he at, he was too tired to do anything, making it the perfect time for the girl to swoop in for cuddles without any objection from the boy.
