Alyssia wrinkled her nose at his reply, shrugging lightly as she grabbed the packaged sausage and gave him a cheeky grin, before her nimble fingers unwrapped the sausage quickly, her teeth sinking into the succulent meat as she moaned lightly in appreciation, the flavours of the sinful food bursting in her mouth. She swallowed before replying Jaesuk, gasping slightly at the fast pace she had been eating her food, stretching slightly as she patted her stomach.
“Well–don’t they all just look at my pretty face and my sexy body and just say, date me, because all they can think about is that tool between their legs…” She grumbled as she twirled her chopsticks in her soup. “Fickled, shallow men.” She glanced at Jaesuk from the side of her eyes, observing him lightly from head to toe. “I for one look for a partner that I can be just free and who I am.” She paused for a moment, thinking about it almost offhandedly. “Kind of like now, but I’m not referring specifically to you–oh you get what I mean. I just want someone I can be comfortable with. I guess thats a pretty high call to ask for when in the idol industry, eh?” She brushed aside her hair as she sipped the leftover soup, chuckling at his next words.
“And if I didn’t seem more than just a sexy piece of ass to bang on a stick, bc wouldn’t be doing their job properly either.” She felt him deeply on this point, having come from the same company and moulded into a particular stereotype. “Unlike you, I don’t have any other talents apart from singing and being a pretty face. I can act–but the backlash would probably be too great for someone with a sexy stereotype like me to try out for the tv roles on a show.” She glanced at her food, prodding the soggy noodles lightly with her chopsticks as she shook at her head at his inflated ego, a bubble of laughter nearly rising from behind her lips. “And you really have a huge ass ego, don’t you? I should say the same, oppa–”She grinned teasingly. “Many of my male and female fans would practically kill to spend time with me like this, one to one, eating junk food and hiding out from others.” She paused for a moment, a wistful smile crossing her face momentarily. “I should do something like this more often in the future. Its fun.” She begin cleaning up the food and the chopsticks, whipping off her hat and standing slightly as she did so, making a quick work of the rubbish on their table. “Are you done, with the food?” She pointed to his food questioningly.
placing his hand on his chin and leaning in towards her, he replied, “well, that’s how men are, sorry to admit. by your definition, all men are fickle and shallow then.” jaesuk smirked at her remark. “seriously? you’re already in love with me.” he shrugged. “i don’t blame you though, especially since i’m so perfect.” despite his cockiness, jaesuk understood what alyssia wanted in a relationship. throughout his life, the decipher member wished he had someone he could just be himself with. he wanted someone to accept him for he was; maybe it stemmed from not getting the approval of his parents. but he adopted the philosphy of “fake it until you make it” since he was a trainee.
“if you call having confidence the same thing as having a huge ass ego, then sure.” jaesuk has heard that phrase way too often. you’re too cocky. yet, he never let any of those remarks faze him. life’s too short to worry about what other people think about you. he chuckled, “alyssia-sshi, i’m such a huge fan.” he added, “i’m sure every fan is just dying to be me right now. i’m so lucky.” to be honest, jaesuk missed hanging out with fellow bc idols like this. their schedules are always packed, so they rarely see each other. he doesn’t see much of the decipher members either, since they’re all living separately. “pft. are you only saying it’s fun because you mooched off of me?” when she asked if he were done with his food, he replied, “yep, i guess i’m finished since you practically ate most of it. no worries, though. it was my pleasure.” he added casually, “besides, oldest always pays. maybe next time i’ll treat you to a proper meal. so clear out your schedule the next time i text you.” he winked. jaesuk had not planned on bumping into a labelmate in the first place. in fact, it seemed like alyssia hadn’t planned on it either. “you want something to drink? you were practically going ham on all that salt.”
