'I'm still breathing...I'm ALIVE.' Our world is under turmoil and many would give anything to have another day, just one more day, with loved ones lost. As you see "lifestyles" of others on Instagram, know that everyone has a story and not one of us is perfect. Social comparison never stems from a healthy place. To directly compare yourself with someone else's "flawless makeup", "perfect body", "insane home", "impossible wardrobe"...makes zero sense and we are all guilty of it. If you feel compelled to compare to someone else, do so with an earlier version of yourself and admire how far you've come. Happiness and love are contagious...but it starts with you. My only hope is that someone sees my page and decides not to give up. So live each day being your best you...some people didn't have this day.

"I don't know how you stay so committed to working out as much as you do." I'll tell you why. Because I remember sitting in a chemotherapy room unable to even think about working out and all I thought about was how nauseous I was going to be the next couple days. Because I know one day I will be unable to move like my body allows me to now. Because there are people that may never be able to workout and I realize how fortunate I am. So that's why I stay committed. I workout because I can.

Skinny VS Strong. This is when I truly decided to change up my training and wanted to be strong and not let gravity take over. I never weigh myself, but I do know I would rather lift than starve. Muscle weighs more than fat and I'll be the first to tell you that I'm not concerned about numbers. Eat well and exercise often, the rest will take care of itself. There's no secret pill or magic tea that's going to get you in shape, it's simply hard work. 🍂FIRST DATE MEAL!! Soup splashes, slurping & roasted garlic spread for the bread. 🍂Yellow onion, garlic, lacinto kale, butternut squash, potatoes, carrots & white beans that doesn't have a name and I'm not reeeeeally sure how I made it but turned out well soup. 🍂Let's be honest, the real star of the show is the roasted garlic head. (Preheat oven to 400 degrees, peel off loose garlic paper, cut 1/4 inch off the top, drizzle exposed garlic with Olive Oil, wrap in foil, roast for 45 minutes.)
