I was always an adventurous person . Taking heights at a new measure . One of my biggest fears was heights . And still is ... this hike was not like how it is in the Bay Area . It’s lots of incline and endurance . Yet although I was feeling under the weather , I still made it to the top . When you want something you’ll do whatever it takes to get there . Guess you can say from a former athlete, being on crutches for 4 months with 4 ER visits. Your girl still got it 🤙🏻☝️

Spent 4th of July with the Garos over bbq and good company .

Someone once told me that maybe everyone wasn’t meant to hear my story, but a few people were willing to understand.

Female standards of beauty, dating, and etc… i was letting people write my own story. In college, there was this person that i had a crush on. This person had traits that included down to earth, caring, and was always happy. SHE was everything I wanted in a person. It was pretty obvious to the people around me that i liked her because I would see her as my ideal perfection but i was scared to actually “come out”. I was scared of what people would think . Luckily, my friends created an environment for me to feel unjudged, which gave me the courage to be true to who i was.

Coming out to my parents, however, was a different story. After the decision of telling my parents resulted in seeing them cry and The feeling of not being accepted by both my parents really hurted me.

But this story isn’t to blame God, my parents, or to the people who judged me, but I’m thankful to face all that hate and unacceptance. My close friend once told me: “whatever people say about you being bi you shouldn’t feel upset / mad because they don’t understand how amazing and awesome you are. If they can’t see that then they are not worthy of you.” Because it really never mattered what others thought about me.

The most important question was:

Will i ever be able to accept myself?

In one of my letters someone described me as “the Bright light of yellow & with Loving passion of red Creating orange Full of love and compassion.” Coming into a program afraid of being judged, the year introducing “ no judgement, just love” policy. Finding the superpowers of love & compassion helped me realize that i’m loved, cared for , and greatly blessed. MHTL has helped made it easy for me to not be ashamed of myself. That i don’t have to be afraid to censor/ hiding who i really am, but I’m able to be the Real me , the color Orange even if the world won’t accept me of being different.

Celebrating my birthday this year by taking on Portland for my first time with my siblings . #LamsTakesOnPortland this October 25-27th,2019.

Also Super excited to say that #babyk408adventures featuring Oahu, Hawaii in February!✈️ Feb 16-23rd, 2020. Can’t wait to be back on the beautiful island after the first time 9-10 years ago when we got to see Waikiki

Each year I get to meet & make new queer friends and seeing how loving the community can slowly be . Always remember to love & put yourself always first. I first came out in 2015 January to my parents , and honestly it didn’t go so well . But throughout the years and process , I’ve learned to love myself and not gave a shit about what others thought . Coming out of the closet has helped me be more Loving / Strong / and most importantly Selfless through it all .

Yeap can definitely say that lived my best life today . Before starting my new job at a marketing firm Monday . Thanks for my Aunt Kayla & family for including me in the funtivities today.

MHTL Appreciation Dinner was definitely lit . With candles / yummy food / and such a great planned event . Proud of my kids and the countless efforts that was put into this . This is why I do what I do , the impact and growth that’s built within each of them .
