The good thing about this trip was that it was the last game of the season.

And their team won

So when they got back to the hotel room to change before going out to celebrate, there were no more obligations with the team this year

Yes, Maki was the captain, but the girl of her dreams was right there, all high in the victory and happy and impossibly beautiful

They were alone in the hotel room and damn it, Maki couldn’t take it anymore

So she kissed her

Then, when they met the rest of the team in the hotel lobby, no one questioned Maki when she said that she and Nobara were going somewhere else, just the two of them.
