So Turkey has stopped digging at Gobeki Tepe for 150 years even though 5% of the site is all that’s been uncovered. They’ve also planted olive trees on other sites when in Turkey it’s illegal to cut down or remove olive trees. Seems a bit of a convenient to plant them on potentially ground breaking sites.
