A/n: hiya my love I hope you enjoy I did a few different ones

Lyle is the type who pretends he doesn’t get attached to places, but he actually does. During deployments he’d always claim every base felt the same, yet he’d quietly learn the best coffee spot, the fastest route back to barracks, the one place with good sunsets. He never admitted it, but he liked the small routines that made temporary places feel lived in.

He’s a big comfort eater. Bad day? He wants junk food, something greasy, something nostalgic. If he trusts someone enough to share food with them, that’s a huge sign of closeness.

He hates awkward silence and will fill it with jokes, stories, or teasing just to keep the mood light. Humor is his coping mechanism; if he’s joking, he’s handling things. When he stops joking, that’s when he’s actually overwhelmed.

He secretly loves being relied on. Being the strong one, the fun one, the morale booster—it gives him purpose. If someone genuinely thanks him for making life easier or happier, it hits him harder than he expects.

And despite the loud personality, he’s the kind of person who checks on people quietly. If someone in the squad is having a rough time, he’ll find a casual excuse to hang around them more, bring them snacks, drag them into a movie night. He’d never call it emotional support, but that’s exactly what it is.
