Hiiii my& beautiful A-Huā <3
for the mogai identity ask game (totally not stalking your& acc): 👽 , 🍰 , 🧱
hi ml<3 you& have asked and we shall deliver!!! or i will since cupid and astro are #asleep. warning, this will be extremely long winded so i'll be answering each question seperately in reblogs
👽 - What do you believe is the most unique about your identity? Have you found anyone else identifying in similar way to you? Whether yes or no, how does it make you feel that there are more/no people whose identity works like yours?
i think it's probably between the fact that a. im very weird about referential language (weird is used lovingly here), and that b. my identity is sooo heavily impacted by music. like it's my second most important thing to being fictkin, it's so important to me that people see me as my songkins or perceive me as a music-based being.
when it comes to ref language, i'm very specific?? like, yes, call me a dude, or a guy, or even sometimes a boy, but i feel like "man" feels so far away from what i am. it's far too hypermasc for me, in my weird opinion?? even though im technically an adult insys it's extremely strange to call myself a man. i don't really id with it. when it comes to fem terms, i'm very neutral. like, i don't mind girl or lady, and woman is iffy, but it's moreso important that i'm perceived as feminine over gynine even when i do id in a gynine way. i suppose it has to do with gynine terms feeling to conforming to me?? like im a girl in a cisgirl, hyperfem drag queen way.
similarly, ref language and how comfortable i feel with other beings using it is very reliant on my relationship to them. they/them feels amazing from strangers, or acquaintances, but not from close friends even when im feeling particularly neutral. he/him or neos feels great coming from anyone, and she/her is verrrry dependant on my gender and how comfortable i am with someone, but i hate it coming from strangers.
about the music thing, i think it's mainly because we were raised on music, and it was like. our only agreeable point with our dad, so we connected it it very quickly ++ the synesthesia and autism plays into it a lot. i feel like i can't always articulate my self expression well, whether that be through words or presentation (because even though my presentation is unseperable from me + extremely important to my identity, i feel that from an outside, non queer and/or alterhuman perspective, it doesn't come across in the way i want it to), and music does that for me. if someone doesn't know my songkins, i feel like they're missing like. a huge chunk of my, well, everything. certain songs moreso than others (like brutal by olivia rodrigo, take my half by beomgyu, fxxking star by yeonjun, redred by cortis), but i like. deeply crave and wish beings would ask me about my music related identity more because it is So Important To Me.
