This is my TF2 oc, Vivian Summerhill / The (Computer) Scientist!

Some of yall might remember her from my comm sheet art, I’ve been meaning to post her on her own. She's a unique, non-combatant class that doesn't see the battlefield often, but instead works behind the scenes documenting important RED team intel which is later stored in the briefcases sought after by BLU. But don't be mistaken! She can still fight using a wide variety of weapons, and like every Mann Co. employee, doesn't have a problem with killing without care or remorse.

Vivian is a Navajo local from New Mexico. She started working for Mann Co. because it was the closest military-ish base around that didn't discriminate, and to honor her father who was a Navajo Code Talker in WWII.

My idea for her came from a combination of ideas I had while playing 2Fort one day, such as "Who runs all these computers scattered around the base? What's in the briefcases? Who documents all this stuff?" Then I made her! Another inspiration for her is the computer scientist Margaret Hamilton, a NASA computer scientist who famously hand-wrote all the codes that helped bring the Apollo spacecraft to the moon. (Also I lowkey ship her with Sniper... sometimes Medic or Miss Pauling too for fun 🫣)
