I used to think that being able to marry Sothis in FE3H was ridiculous, because who would want to marry someone who doesn't exist outside of your head? Who would want their marriage to mean a ring on your finger with the match in your pocket? Just seemed ridiculous to me.

Now I just watched Jarvis Johnson's new video about people marrying their AI and uh... maybe I was wrong. Maybe some people do want to marry someone that doesn't exist outside of their heads. Tell me why there's people with rings on their fingers after getting "proposed" to by an AI????? AN AI????? Like damn I guess Sothis is better than that because at least she does technically exist and have her own thoughts/looks/existence/mind, since she's essentially just been reincarnated into your head. AI on the other hand? OMG that's literally just a computer. That's not real. AI psychosis is sooo dangerous.

There should be so many more regulations on AI than there are currently. AI psychosis is becoming a real epidemic online, with real adults being convinced that there is a person, nay a soul, behind all of the AI chatbots that they are in relationships with. That is not your friend. That is not your significant other. That is not your spouse. AI IS NOT YOUR FRIEND. IT IS LINES OF CODE. IT IS BOTS. THEY ARE NOT YOUR FRIEND AND THEY DO NOT EXIST.

If you know someone who is experiencing a "personal" relationship with AI please get them help. It is not helping them in any way. This is going to lead to psychosis or other extremely negative and harmful effects. Get them into therapy. Get them real human friends. This is not okay. Ever.

If you yourself believe that you have a personal relationship with AI, please get yourself help. I'm being serious. AI is a tool, not a friend. You may think that there are personal relationships forming, but you are separating yourself from the reality that you live in and causing yourself to fall into delusion. It is not healthy. Please get yourself help, you deserve it.

TL;DR: I thought it was crazy in fiction to have people marrying a separate consciousness in their heads. Now I don't think it's as far-fetched, as people are marrying AI that is much less real. AI is not human, AI is code and a tool. Get yourself and loved ones help if they show signs of AI personal relationships / AI psychosis, you/they deserve it and it can be very dangerous to fall into these delusions. Stay safe everyone.
