you can’t write team red unless you understand that every member is both simultaneously a fucking Child and the only adult of the group, in different situations. There is a Scale. It goes

and depending on their situation, any member can be the Adult.

Faced with working alongside another team, suddenly Matt is the only one with any common sense. This is because, when in close proximity to each other due to not wanting to socialize with other team beyond work terms, Wade and Peter become Insane Gremlins with two braincells to their name.

when injured, Matt is 100% the child. So is Wade. Which leaves Peter to be the responsible Designated Driver who can get everyone’s asses to a first aid kit

when dealing with mental trauma, bad days, depressive episodes, PTSD, anything to do with mental rather than physical, Wade takes the reigns and gets everyone a good movie, space or company depending on what’s needed, some comfort food and time off. He’s on top of that shit. 100% the responsible adult, because he’s actually decently good at dealing with bad days, and though he has some of his own every so often (Matt and Peter help him ofc) he’s gotten good at making them as painless as possible

the gist of this is that you gotta understand when writing that their ages have no impact on the dynamic. Wade and Matt are not automatically the parent to Peter’s kid just cause theyre older—it’s always a toss up depending on the situation, and they always have each other’s backs

Netflix’s Daredevil camera work basically treated Charlie’s lips, chin, and jawline like secondary characters. They didn’t just film Daredevil… they curated a thirst trap. You know they’re doing it on purpose, but you just sit there thinking: …yeah, I’ll allow it.
