Hello hello hello it has come to my attention that it is a common headcanon that Dick cannot cook.

It is, in fact, Bruce who is a helpless little bitch baby. I rest my case.

#dick has been a professional athlete his whole life and is fiercely independent #hed know how to cook and would be pretty set on a balanced diet #the knee jerk reaction is to go the opposite way and making him into that cliché of the full on prots gym guys #but i think hed be way past that and just keeps a balanced diet thats not as restrictive and strict #its also a hc that hes got some quirks and likes the generally disliked candy and stuff like that man is a sucker for salted licorice

Sometimes I wonder what might’ve been if Dick was like half a second slower and got lobotomized in Batman RIP (see here):

but I’ve concluded nothing would have happened tbh.

He’s already been shot in the head not once, but twice.

He has also had a technology implanted in his brain that shocks and tampers with it, because Spyral wasn’t exactly concerned with the long term outcomes of its agents, and we see it cause highly visible symptoms of trauma like brain lesions/swelling/etc (eye bleeding and fainting and seizures and whatever).

So like ngl I think if he were lobotomized it might’ve actually fixed something. Like when your remote is broken so you chuck it across the room and it starts working again. Either that or he would have just gotten up and proceeded with what he was doing like what he did the first time he was shot.

Idk Dick’s brain has to be like half gnarled scarring at this point, right? There’s no way an ice pick is gonna be the final say here. His sheer brain callouses would snap the pick in half. He would give the pick brain damage.

What I’m saying is that in a fight between Dick’s frontal lobe and an ice pick, the frontal lobe would win.
