The sudden sensation of something knocking against his back caught Ikki quite by surprise. He had been walking quite slowly, his shoulder bag pulled up as attempted to dig his phone out of it having heard the message tone ping, but his attention was now quite stolen away from the device. Poor Kent would have to wait for his response to what was likely to be the latest in a long string of text-messaged Maths problems. They could wait however, this was far more important.
Turning on the spot he fixed his eyes, shaded by sunglasses on the young woman that had quite literally encountered his back. She looked quite embarrassed by the situation and in no time he found himself smiling gently.
"Now now. There is no need to apologise." He stated. "I do hope you are not hurt? It was a poor thing for me to do, to dawdle so very slowly where others may wish to walk. The apology should most certainly be mine. Here…" He reached a hand out, meaning to very gently touch the back of her hand.
"If you are hurt, allow me to take a look for you? If you have hurt yourself in any way we must be sure that you are taken care of."
{♕} "No, no, the apology is mine to give," she mumbled brokenly from behind her cupped hand, hopefully plainly enough for him to understand. "I wasn't watching where I was going -- it was awfully silly of me, really." While he may have played a role in the accident -- it does take two to tango, so to speak -- she was prepared to take the blame graciously, especially since he showed no visible signs of offense, at least not any she could read on his face with his sunglasses in place.
She shook her head gently at his request, fingertips tenderly pressing against her nose. "Ah, there's a bathroom around the corner, isn't there...? I'll go assess the damage myself." She winced at her own wording and added, "I'm sure it's fine! The pain is already fading."
