every word that came out of his lips hit her in the gut or it felt as if someone just threw a bucket of cold water at her. she knew. she damn well knew that every word he said was true and only made her feel… stuck. normally, she would find it easily to retort back with such coldness and harshness that kept people away from her for years. that unyielding walls of fear and cautiousness that kept her strong and independent for years just shattered down by a man she barely knew. if her expression showed any proof of her slight apprehension, she didn’t know. but it didn’t meant she’d back down easily. no. gods, no. she had spent years in building up this walls, tucked inside with this love she’d been hiding and hoarding inside just to be broken down by a man she just met. oh how long it grieved to be liberated. so much love to give yet rejected so many times.
her eyes lingered on him for the longest she had ever stared at someone. she tried to find the right words to say. think iris, think. she’d scream at herself inside. you are better than this, again she reminded herself then she retorted. [ i don’t see why i should tell you anything about me and i believe that it would be for the best too. it’s not like we’re going to meet nor see each other again. this night was obviously a mistake, we never should’ve crossed paths to begin with. so again, there’s nothing else in there but a simple accident and mistake. so if it’s alright, i’d very much appreciate it if you leave me alone. i have no further business with you. ] just when she was about to take her leave… for the third time. what he wanted next surprised her and made her still.
really? was he really just—did he really just—? she could not believe what was happening and it pissed her off all the more and the fact that she even gave him a smile? god, how can she be so stupid? she sighed and signed. [ really? like are you serious right now? blackmailing? damn low for someone like you and what if i did say no? you’d really tell people? ] her fear had always been stronger than her pride and she knew, she had lost this battle. sure, she’d talked to him as if his little blackmailing wouldn’t affect her… but it did. she didn’t want to risk it. god, she could already here the look of disbelief on her father’s face would give or maybe the people around her when they knew about her passion? despite how society has grown and changed, there will always be some left who’d deemed it impossible for someone like her to produce music, she knew that.
so with another, who knows how many times she did it, sigh leaving her lips, the female gave the other a jerk of her chin, enough to let him know that she was going with him but not because she wanted to but because she had no choice, and hopefully that would make him reconsider his decisions. what she didn’t understand was why… why was he doing this? why was he so persistent in talking to her or at least wanting to know her name? she just don’t get it. there are people out there that was just like her who could play and create music so why? it was frustrating to think about it… and the terror of her wanting to open up to the man in front of him and actually give him a chance.
given the space she needed, the female went on with her walking. not too fast and not too slow, just enough to have kaleb walk beside him. she didn’t mind the awkwardness slowly filling the air, no not at all and this was one of those times she felt relieved of her inability to hear. at least she didn’t have to do much talking. her hands held tightly on the strap of her bag, eyes darted on the floor as she kicked and played with the rocks on the floor. she could only hope and pray that he wouldn’t let more of his curiosity ask her questions. she was fine with just tea and that was it. please, just please because she wasn’t sure if she’d actually be able to keep everything to herself especially when he had already caught her attention.
instead of giving an answer, the boy just wore a mischievous smile that let her know that he was, in fact, blackmail her. kaleb was sure that he actually wouldn’t do such a thing, knowing he wasn’t the type to actually be as evil as the act he was now pulling. but she was interesting. it was hard for him to look past what had just happened without a million questions running through his head - wondering why she was so secretive and why she was so set on him leaving her alone for good. still not knowing the girl’s name, kaleb let that fact roll off of his shoulder, figuring that at some point, maybe when the new face was ready, she’d tell him her name and he’d have something to actually call her. even knowing her name caused the boy to grow as curious as ever. it was seen as a curse by kaleb, how bad he needed and wanted to know things he had no business knowing, but this was nothing like that. he didn’t wanna know more about her just to know. she was interesting and no matter how cold she was set on being towards kaleb, it obviously wouldn’t work.
surprisingly, the mystery girl had agreed to go with him. though he initiated it, kaleb wasn’t quite sure she’d fall for it. he wasn’t sure what to do next, his eyes widening momentarily as the devilish smile fell from his lips. he watched the girl take more steps, knowing that this time, he was suppose to be following next to her. it took a moment to process, but eventually - the taller boy started with his own steps. he lead himself to her side, making sure to keep an appropriate space between them as they walked, his head fell, eyes staring at the ground - but only until they veered over to the girl. looking at her, kaleb couldn’t help the small smile that stretched across his lips. why was she like this? it was none of his business, of course, but it kept drawing him in. this is probably a bad idea, he thought to himself, pulling his attention from her and letting it linger across the cement as they walked over it.
he had to say something to her. the boy didn’t invite her for tea just o they can sit in silence. his body straightened as is head lifted up, turning in her direction slightly as he signed to her. “[ do i get to know your name yet? ]” he asked, hopeful look on his face, hoping to get something out of her. “[ what kind of tea do you like to drink? the brew makes an excellent earl grey that they top with a vanilla foam. it’s amazing. ]” if there was one thing kaleb was good at, it was creating conversation without an awkward haze covering it. with this one, though, he figured it might be a bit more difficult than the other strangers he’s spoken with. he hoped he’d get answers that weren’t harsh and that he can at least speak to her as if he wasn’t worried she was in the mob or something. the mystery surrounding the girl was something kaleb desperately wanted to decode, but he knew it wouldn’t be easy. hell, he figured he might not even see her after this.
“[ or their matcha is amazing, best i’ve ever had. ]” more hand movements as he communicated with her, eyes veering to her and away, almost scared to read the expression on her face. she might’ve looked ready to kill him. she might’ve looked as if she warmed up to him. it was something he’d figure out if he just glanced at her instead if watching the ground as he signed. but once he was finished, his hands slid into the pockets of his pants, head lifting as he glanced around his familiar surroundings. eventually, he did what he was wanting to do. looking over at the girl, eyes intently trying to read whatever he could from her.

annie: STRAWBERRY annie: if strawberry is just vanilla… nah annie: why do u think i’m vanilla…… is it bc i’m 5′1 annie: do u want to get food w me
kj: strawberry is not vanilla. it’s strawberry. kj: YOU’RE- kj: you’re that fucking small? i can’t. kj: please, i’m hungry. it’ll be my treat.
perriliu:
For a brief moment, Perri actually listened to what the other had to say, trying to make a mental note of KJ’s coffee order, just in case there was a next time where there wasn’t coffee spilled in one of their laps. His expression suddenly fell with a roll of his eyes when he realised just how much he was bullshitting, running his hand through his own hair and down the back of his neck as he chuckled to himself. It was definitely a shock to hear that someone didn’t like coffee, especially when the older male was sure that his blood was at least forty percent pure caffeine at this point. But, he could understand it, sort of. “Well, you can be wrong I guess,” he spoke with a shrug, a soft smile still displayed across his lips as he made eye contact with the other. “So, what’re you doing in a coffee shop if you don’t drink it? Kinda makes me think you planned this whole thing. You know, pushing your bag out, tripping me, making me touch your dick, and all so you can buy me a coffee. All of it was totally on purpose.”
kaleb couldn’t help but smile as the other realized his shenanigans, a chuckle easily slipping out from behind his lips as he looked away from the male. he looked to check the status of the other’s drink, noticing how busy the barista seemed to be, and the only one at that. but at the sound of the other’s voice, his attention quickly turned back, listening to his words that ultimately landed a smirk across kaleb’s lips, looking at perri with a brow high on his forehead. “you know,” he started, taking a step closer to the boy and leaning in just slightly, “this is actually how i pick people up.” his tone mocked a whisper as he spoke, words soft before pulling away from the other to continue. “i think you’re my fourth catch this week.” he continued to tease, shooting perri a playful wink that seemed to easily play out. kaleb barely knew him, but it was rather easy to mess around with him, and maybe even flirt a little. “nah, i do drink tea, though. coffee every once in a while, but rarely. but i mean, i don’t know that i’m too sorry about the incident anymore.” he explained to him, thanking the barista as he took hold of the other’s drink, turning to hand it to him. “you seem a little interesting. i might keep you.”

just when she thought things were about to go her way, iris was yet again hindered by him to her journey back home. what the hell is up with this guy? had he not understood? was her message not enough to get through him? this time she didn’t hesitate to let out an annoyed ‘ugh’ emitting from her lips. she wanted him to understand, if not by words maybe through her gestures. this sucked. all she wanted was to play and enjoy herself and not… this. god. oh, god. how did she end up in a situation like this? all these hows, whats and whys yet still she had no answers. she was starting to get annoyed by him and no one knows how much she wanted to talk, to actually talk to him rather than type. she wanted to tell him to screw off because she had no interest in whatever else he had to say.
there he went again with his talking and honestly, she had enough and is so done with walking away just to be followed by him. she dropped her stuff and crossed her arms, quirking a brow upward. he could talk all he wanted but she was not going to utter a word. not.a.single.word. they could both have a staring contest here for hours, she wouldn’t care. she’d waste his time and let him have it his way until he gets tired of talking to absolutely… no one. the air would probably a nice companion. why not?
his next actions, however, was something she had not expected at all. a hint of surprise on her face was evident when her eyes grew wide a little and her lips slightly forming into an ‘o’, but she didn’t want to show that though and immediately went back to her neutral expression. questions after questions, thoughts after thoughts, entered her already confused mind. he knew sign language? she was not going to lie, this surprised her in so many ways and caught her completely off guard. she wasn’t sure of what to do nor what to respond. it wasn’t everyday she encountered someone who knew sign language. not even her brother was good at it, he was trying though and she appreciated it.
she observed the man and knew that this was something he was still trying to get used to and honestly, the corner of her lips curled up into a small smile. it was nice. so, this time she straightened up and actually looked at him this time and began to respond in a way she was more comfortable with and hopefully, he’d get it. [ yeah. i don’t see the point of hiding it and no offense taken. ] she smiled and went on. [ i’m sorry. i may have overreacted a little but that doesn’t excuse the fact that you just stood there without revealing yourself. ] again, she had always been sensitive about her music. [ kaleb, huh? it’s nice to meet you… i guess? i still mean what i said, what you saw in that room? keep it to yourself. between you and i. don’t tell anyone else… ] and this time there she dropped her hands and pleaded. “please” normally, she wouldn’t talk to anyone just like that, heck she doesn’t even talk to her brother at all but she wanted him to know how badly she want her singing and playing to be kept.
kaleb couldn't help but roll his eyes. not in a rude way. almost as if he couldn’t believe what she was saying. “[ how was i suppose to make myself known unless i stood in front of you. and besides, i’m sure i would’ve gotten the same response, no? ]” and he believed it were true. no matter what he did, he could tell that his girl would’ve given him this problem either way. sure, he didn’t mind this back and forth they had going on, but he still didn’t get why she was so... defensive. “[ so you’re not gonna tell me your name? you’re just gonna beg me to keep what i saw to myself? ]” his face wore amusement as he signed to her, eyes settling on her’s with a smile that turned into more of smirk thank anything else.
the whole thing was still confusing to him. why did she want to keep it such a secret? “[ i mean, i don’t know why i would tell anyone. ]” he explained, with a soft shrug of his shoulders. and i was true. sure, the memory would be on his mind for who knows how long. the melody playing in his head - that of what he could remember - and her voice would ring through his ears. but, who would he tell? if she hadn’t been seen around the place before, he was sure people would think he was crazy and imagining it. but maybe, he could use this to his advantage. it seemed like it was the only way to get the girl to agree with what was on his mind, anyway.
cocking his head to the side, his nose scrunched up as if he were thinking, an obvious thought lingering in his head as he looked over at the girl. “[ okay, ]” he started, head nodding in agreement before he went on with the catch. “[ i’ll forget all about it and keep it to myself. ]” he told her, making it seem as if the deal was done and over with. until a devilish smile started to grace his features, body leaning down to grab the bag he had dropped and throw it over his shoulder. “[ i you agree to go have some coffee with me, i’ll drop it. ]” seeing a glimpse of the girl’s personality up to this point, kaleb could tell she wasn’t going to have it. maybe. but he wouldn’t be kaleb without trying.
“[ i know, you’d probably rather not bother with me ever again. but hear me out. it’s late. tea sounds amazing right now. and, i don’t know, maybe you’ll tell me your name over a cup of it. ]” smirk still in tact as he went on, “[ just give me that. a cup of coffee and i’ll act as if i don’t know you. you can tell me your name and i’ll force myself to forget it by tomorrow morning, i swear. ]” his face wore a playfulness that would let the girl know he meant no harm. and although kaleb still felt very cautious around her, he couldn't help but be intrigued by the standoffish girl in front of him.

how can she let such thing happen? again and again and again, she called herself stupid in her head like a broken record. her heartbeat was raising and beat loudly, so loud that she swore the stranger could hear. she wanted to scream at him for barging in. oh, her whole body was warm, she could feel it despite the cold weather. was this shame? despite her obvious response to him listening, he seriously had the audacity to follow her around. how dull and naive could he be? if he spoke to her or not did not matter to her at all and this was one of those moments she was thankful that she couldn’t hear him because she didn’t want to talk to him at all.
she quickly took a stop when she found him standing in front of her in a matter of seconds. again, stupid. she watched him as his lips moved. of course, he’d be saying something but still, she didn’t even bother in reading his lips. she didn’t care. averting her eyes from his lips to his eyes, iris heaved out a sigh and fished out her phone from her pockets. she couldn’t believe that she’d have to go through all this just because she did something she loved. she should’ve went home. she typed out the words, quick and fast, for him to read and hopefully, he’d get to understand what she wanted for him to do.
[ 𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚎𝚗, 𝚒 𝚍𝚘𝚗'𝚝 𝚔𝚗𝚘𝚠 𝚠𝚑𝚘 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚊𝚛𝚎 𝚘𝚛 𝚠𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚠𝚊𝚗𝚝 𝚏𝚛𝚘𝚖 𝚖𝚎 𝚋𝚞𝚝 𝚙𝚕𝚎𝚊𝚜𝚎 𝚜𝚝𝚘𝚙 𝚏𝚘𝚕𝚕𝚘𝚠𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚖𝚎. 𝚕𝚎𝚝𝚜 𝚙𝚛𝚎𝚝𝚎𝚗𝚍 𝚗𝚘𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚑𝚊𝚙𝚙𝚎𝚗𝚎𝚍. 𝚒 𝚍𝚒𝚍𝚗'𝚝 𝚜𝚎𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚍𝚒𝚍𝚗'𝚝 𝚜𝚎𝚎 𝚖𝚎. 𝚠𝚑𝚊𝚝𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚒𝚝 𝚒𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚜𝚊𝚠 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚊𝚝 𝚛𝚘𝚘𝚖, 𝚔𝚎𝚎𝚙 𝚒𝚝 𝚝𝚘 𝚢𝚘𝚞𝚛𝚜𝚎𝚕𝚏. 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚘𝚗𝚕𝚢 𝚛𝚎𝚊𝚜𝚘𝚗 𝚠𝚑𝚢 𝚒 𝚠𝚊𝚜 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚒𝚜 𝚋𝚎𝚌𝚊𝚞𝚜𝚎 𝚒 𝚝𝚑𝚘𝚞𝚐𝚑𝚝 𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛𝚢𝚋𝚘𝚍𝚢 𝚕𝚎𝚏𝚝. 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚠𝚎𝚛𝚎 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚜𝚞𝚙𝚙𝚘𝚜𝚎𝚍 𝚝𝚘 𝚜𝚎𝚎 𝚗𝚘𝚛 𝚑𝚎𝚊𝚛 𝚊𝚗𝚢𝚝𝚑𝚒𝚗𝚐. 𝚒'𝚖 𝚜𝚘𝚛𝚛𝚢 𝚒𝚏 𝚒 𝚍𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚋𝚎𝚍 𝚢𝚘𝚞 𝚘𝚛 𝚒𝚏 𝚒 𝚌𝚊𝚞𝚜𝚎𝚍 𝚊𝚗𝚢 𝚗𝚘𝚒𝚜𝚎 𝚋𝚞𝚝 𝚒 𝚙𝚛𝚘𝚖𝚒𝚜𝚎 𝚝𝚘 𝚗𝚎𝚟𝚎𝚛 𝚍𝚘 𝚒𝚝 𝚊𝚐𝚊𝚒𝚗. 𝚒𝚝 𝚠𝚒𝚕𝚕 𝚋𝚎 𝚝𝚑𝚎 𝚏𝚒𝚛𝚜𝚝 𝚊𝚗𝚍 𝚕𝚊𝚜𝚝 𝚝𝚒𝚖𝚎 𝚢𝚘𝚞'𝚕𝚕 𝚜𝚎𝚎 𝚖𝚎 𝚒𝚗 𝚝𝚑𝚎𝚛𝚎. 𝚐𝚘𝚝 𝚒𝚝? ]
she stood there quietly, holding out her phone for him to read and hopefully, he’d comply. as soon as she was sure that he had read everything she had typed, iris did not waste any more time and walked straight ahead again. she will never, ever do that thing again.
by the look on her face, kaleb was doing something wrong. and he could tell. he couldn’t figure it out, though. all he did was stand in the door way as he played and then complimented her on it. what was it that he did that made it seem like he offended the girl? like she was scolding him? the small smile on his face fell, instead of a hand to shake and name to remember, he was greeted with a message that confused him further before he could even read it. why did she type this out, he thought to himself, head cocking to the side as he glanced down at the phone for a quick second and then back to the girl. how did this night take such an awkward turn for him?
reading the message, his eyes narrowed down at the words on the screen, quickly reading over them once and then twice to make sure he read correctly. “what?” he questioned quietly, looking up to her as soon as he finished a second run of the message. “you didn’t disturb me, i- wait... why did you type this out? are you so scared of being seen that you don’t even want me to hear your voice or something?” he chuckled out, shoulders bouncing lightly along with the laugh before his features fell flat again. she was walking away again, his body quick to turn and watch her, even quicker to run after her again.
“wait!” what was going on? this person he’d randomly ran into was the most secretive person he had ever come across. sure, he could’ve let her go like she wanted him to do. but how could he? if she didn’t want to give him her name or bother with him, the least she could do was let him apologize for interrupting or offending her. “please,” he begged softly, taking anther spot in front of the girl before he could continue speaking. “i-” he cut himself off, quickly starting to put the pieces together that he thought fit. she typed out a message and refused to speak to him. either because she truly despised him for some unknown reason or... maybe..
instead of speaking, kaleb dropped his duffel bag down to the floor to free up his hands. “[ are you- ]” he motioned with them, his sign language probably a bit rough, but the years of practice and communication with his father would kick in sooner or later. “[ are you deaf? ]” he signed to the girl, brows knitting together before he continued to motion his hands. “[ i don’t mean to offend you but... you typed a message instead of speaking to me. and you watched my lips move back there, i just- ]” he paused hoping he was getting through to the girl at least just a little bit. “[ listen, i didn’t mean to offend you, ]” he continued to sign, though his voice trailed along with his words mindlessly. “[ and i didn’t mean to walk in on you back there. but uh, i’m kaleb. i teach here. i swear i’m not some stranger that showed up. ]”

iris knew it was late and she did it on purpose too. it was mostly the time where no one else stayed or so she believed. she was supposed to meet with sunhee to go on further with her lessons but somehow, iris felt being alone today. a moment for herself and no one else as she poured out her piled up emotions during the past few weeks and the deadlines that were coming up placed a lot of pressure in her. she just wanted to get some rest and do something she actually loved for once and so she found herself in a vacant room and seated herself. her hands ran through the keys with a smile of satisfaction on her face. “just you and me tonight. no one else.” well… that sounded kind of wrong, she thought to herself.
anyways, she took a deep breath and closed her eyes before starting to play. she knew the chords too well for she had been working on this song for a long time, a song that spoke and sang her heart out, it wasn’t a jolly song rather it sounded melancholic, exactly what she had been grieving to say. oblivious of the fact that someone had heard her song, the female began to sing and completely lost herself in the music. she felt that fire, the passion, she once had and oh, the joy… the joy of being able to sing without having anyone to stop her, the comfort it gave her. every second that passed, every melody that was played, as the song nearing its end, iris gave out her all, her fingers dancing swiftly into the keys. a few more keys and alas, her fingers finally took a halt, her chest rising up and down, a soft laugh leaving her lips.
her excitement and relief that almost flooded through her vanished when she turned around and found a man… watching her with that small smile of his. what was he doing here? and for a moment, she felt her heart stopped. how long has he been there? she was supposed to play another song to satisfy that need in her heart to play but that was now for later. she needed to leave, no one was supposed to be here, to know her nor her music. her hands started to shake but fortunately, it didn’t shake enough for her not to fix her things. not a single goodbye, a word nor look was given to him when she passed by him. god, how can she be so stupid and reckless.
kaleb’s smile only grew ash she turned to look at him, but the look on the girl’s face caused his features to fall flat - the joy from before turning into confusion. was he trespassing right now? did she have stage fright and he definitely just triggered it? he was unsure of what was happening, especially as the girl silently slipped past him without a word. “whoa, whoa, wait, wait, wait...” taking steps after he, he continued to speak, but nothing he said seemed to be getting through to the girl. “that was really god back there. do you teach here?” he continued to question, the girl’s back still to him as his words rang out.
it wasn’t until his speed picked up, eventually landing the boy in front of the stranger, his hands holding out to signal her to stop. “hey, hi.” he mused, a soft chuckle following his words. maybe she wasn’t speaking to him for a reason. maybe him standing in that doorway and watching her play wasn’t something she was fond of. “i, uh... i didn’t mean to impose, i just... i was leaving my class and i heard the music coming from down the hall and i...” another chuckle, this time wearing a nervous layer as it slipped past his lips. looking at her, kaleb could admit to never seeing her around. at least not around the center he taught at. maybe she was new. he could remember them looking for a new music teacher for the teen department, and maybe this was her. “are you... the new music teacher?” he questioned again.
the boy let out a soft sigh, wondering if he had spooked her enough for her to not want anything to do with him. but the way she played and the voice that left her small body left him intrigued, to say the least. he already wondered if he’d see her around on the days he taught and if, at some point, she’d decide to say something to him. “um. i, either way, that was very beautiful.” he continued, a soft nod of his head following his words as an awkward smile graced his features. holding a hand out to her, the smile softened into something a bit more genuine as he introduced himself. “i’m kaleb.”

today had been hell. kj had set up the online sign ups for his class so late, that people weren’t even aware that they were up. this was his fault, knowing you should always have these notices up by a certain time in order to get a good showing. he knew this because this wasn’t his first rodeo. his classes were always full, people calling to see if they could be squeezed in. but this time? they must’ve thought he wasn’t having one this time around. with only a handful of students, it wasn’t as intense as it usually was. as intense as kj likes it to be. a hard sigh slipped past his lips as he threw his bag over his shoulder. “there’s always next time, just remember to post the signs up on time.” he reminded himself, knowing that all it took for him to feel better was a quick pep talk and maybe some tea. another sigh before he stepped out into the hall, immediately hearing music come from one of the rooms next to him. his brows furrowed. no one is usually here so late, especially in the music rooms. he could’ve walked away, sure, but kj’s curiosity wouldn't really give him a chance to do so. plus, the music sounded so heavenly, it was hard to ignore. taking a few steps down the hall, he stepped through the open door for his sight to land on whoever this was leaving such a lovely melody to fill the air around him. his body fund a comfortable position along the doorway, leaning against the frame with his arms crossed over his chest. she was good, he thought to himself, small smile twitching at the corners of his mouth as he listened to her play, noticing how delicately she did so.

in less than fifteen minutes , she already arrived to their usual studio. parking wasn’t much of an issue so rhea wasn’t fretting about running late. she greeted the receptionist and walked to the studio she agreed to meet kj in. finding a comfortable spot in the room , rhea set down her bag and started stretching. yes she was a dancer and choreographer , but there was just something about being in the studio that never tired her. she descended into a front split , leaning forward so her forehead was hovering less than an inch away from her knee.
out of the corner of her eye , she spotted her friend entering. “ hey ! so what did you have in mind ? ”
he practically lived in the studio, so it wasn’t unusual to find him there. long before rhea arrived, kj had already had his fill of stretching and practicing and trying to mimic the ideas he had in mind for this piece of work he desperately wanted to execute perfectly. he knew that if anyone would help him get to that point, it would be rhea. he wouldn’t put this kind of trust into just anyone. he had tried multiple times, but nothing was like dancing with rhea. he had removed himself from the space to get a fresh bottle of water, hating himself for leaving his canister at home. but he’d make do. upon arriving he could see the girl through the glass on the door, his smile widening as he entered the room. “took you long enough.” he told the girl, a playful tone present in his words before he sat himself down onto the floor. “okay, so. i have an idea of what i want this to be, but. i’m having a hard time getting it right. like, i don’t know how i want to space it. or not space it, but... how i want it to flow. the song is fact, but the choreography seems slow? i don’t know.” he told her, eventually looking up to her with a pout.
